My preferred business hotel in Santiago. Location is unbeatable, service is cordial and extremely helpful, rooms would need a refresher but they are clean and beds are comfortable. Food at Amandine restaurant was great, but I would suggest servers need training. It seems that the hotel has moved to cater to tourist groups which I am not sure is a positive move, but if other that some extra noise it didn’t bother me this time.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The service was excellent. I attended a wine tasting with the restaurant sommelier Antion and she was amazing! Very nice and educated on the wines from the area! I recommend the entire experience. I absolutely loved Chile!
I’m a little disappointed with this hotel. I paid a lot of money for one week, but the room wasn’t as good as I expected. First of all, I’ll start with the positive things. The hotel is located in a good, safe area Las Condes. Inside the hotel, you can find a nice rooftop pool, terrace, and gym. I was pleasantly surprised that they have weights in the gym that’s great. I liked my room, and the mattress is nice and firm, just how I like it. However, when I checked the bathroom, I saw an old shower head with mold on it. It was quite disgusting because it can contain a lot of bacteria and microbes. They also don’t have a kettle. Maybe for some people it’s not important, but for me it’s a big deal. I don’t drink coffee, and although they provide a coffee machine, there is no kettle. Even in very cheap hotels in Europe, they usually have one. I asked them to change the shower head, and they did. But I shouldn’t have had to tell them and they should check all the rooms before guests arrive.
The Hyatt Centric is amazing. Great location and excellent service. The rooms are exceptional, and you always get that Hyatt touch. But Christian, the Concierge goes above and beyond. On my last visit to run the Santiago Marathon, I was mugged in broad daylight on my way to pick up my race pack, and the thief stole my smart phone. To be fair, Christian had warned me to not use it for navigation. More importantly, when I returned to the hotel, Christian could not have been more accomodating. He went to his house and brought back a phone for me to use. He took me to get a SIM card, and he helped me through the entire process. And to celebrate the marathon, he arranged an exquisite Don Melchor Tasting at Concha y Toro. He epitomizes the values and professionalism of the Chilenos I know.
Well executed business hotel overall. Rooms lack a useful work desk. Bar staff are slow. Restaurant staff are pushy for tips and - gratingly - insist on speaking English before you've even opened your mouth. The young doorman was the most authentic, respectful member of staff.
