Tour To Fisterra - Muxía Express! (From Santiago De Compostela)

Great day and fantastic guide, Pablo! We originally signed up for the express tour, but then switched to the full day tour.

Excellent tour with great sights. The pace was perfect, and the tour guide was knowledgeable and fun.

Andrea was an excellent tour guide. She explained everything well in both English and Spanish and had a great attitude.

This was a nice way to spend the day winding down from the Camino. Extensive tour but very beautiful.

Bus driver was excellent as was tour guide. Challenge was 80 people on bus tour plus our original tour of 6 hours was cancelled with less than 24 hrs notice Scenery excellent.Guide was bilingual & excellent/ just too many people.

We had originally booked the shorter tour and Carolina from Toxo travel called to advise us that we could be upgraded to the 9 hour tour. We had issues getting a taxi and ended up being a couple minutes late. Carolina and Alex, the tour guide were very kind and waited for us. The tour was amazing as every stop was so breathtaking. Alex explained the right amount of information without being information overload! Our lunch stop was really good. We were blessed with amazing weather as well. Such a great day! We definitely recommend Alex and Toxo travel.

The Fisterra - Muxía Express tour was a joyful trip culminating my Camino. The bus was clean/comfortable and the staff made it joyful and educational. They also organized a lunch restaurant that was exceptional. Keep doing what you’re doing for all the visitors to Spain

Trip was done as an extension to a Camino walk from Sarria. Did not have the time to walk to Finisterre. Tour started with meeting at the booking office @9.00am. The guide explained everything in both Spanish and English. The stops on the tour were interesting. There was enough time at each stop to see and do what was needed. It was good value for money all round. Delivered back to the pickup point at around 18.00. A long day but worth it. Top tip! Try get a window seat on the drivers side of the bus for better views coming into Finisterre.

A good day in all . The light house was a bit disappointing as little to be seen there , and the day was so warm . Our guide was lovely and bus so comfy . Pick up and drop off seemless. V enjoyable

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip. The Fisterra - Musia trip. I definitely would recommend it. We got see a lot of the countryside on our way there and back. Our guide was very informative and enthusiastic. Getting organised that morning at the pickup/office was a bit chaotic but we got going close to the appointed time.

The places we visited we're beautiful. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate! It was very foggy and we couldn't see a lot of the coast. Our guide Danny was very knowledgeable and entertaining.

There’s a lot of bus travel time with lots of Scenic views and three Lighthouses Our guide was very Informative

Very bad experience, The trip was cancelled due to an insufficient number of people. Since then, I have been chasing them for a refund. They also informed me in the app that I cancelled.

A very nice relaxing day with beautiful places and spectacular views. Timing was perfect for getting out and walk about and then driving again.

The time frame seems a lot but totally worth it. Danny was fluently able to tell what we were seeing in both english & spanish.

It rained buckets. That was no one’s fault. I wish I could have done the shorter tour which was canceled because it really is a long day. Sometimes we didn’t even get out of the bus bc some of the stops weren’t that interesting enough to get soaked. Danny and angel were very nice and knowledgeable.

The trip is done via bus and in our case started at 9 in the morning and we came back at around 6 in the evening. The guide (Pablo) was just great! Always friendly and helpful. Told a lot about Galician history and also myths and stories.... I think this is the best way to come to Finisterre, when you don't have enough time to go by foot. We were a little.... unlucky.... With the galician weather.... So mostly cloudy and rain. But still worth it! Thanks a lot for the great adventure.

The trip exceeded our expectations. The info was well presented and the guide and driver were both amazing. Everyone was punctual so we left each stop on time. Highly recommend!!!

Since I had just finished walking the French Way and didn’t have time to walk to Finisterre or Muxía, the chance to visit these sites and learn about them was great.

Booked the six hour tour. On the night before the tour they called to say that the six hour tour was canceled. A 9 hour tour just seems too long, they shouldn’t offer the tour if they can’t follow through.

It was awesome. Great bus, great tour. Everything was clean, fast and professional. I recommend this for everyone. You have enough time at every place venue for lunch

Visiting the church at Muxia and the lighthouse at Fisterra are a great way to spend a day. Though at own expense, lunch at Fisterra was good due to freshness of seafood offered by the restaurants along the harbor.

We took the tour both to see Muxia and Finisterrae and to get to Fisterra, our next stop. The guide and driver were kind to let up get off the bus in Fisterra rather than return to Santiago. The only issue was the guide spoke so quickly that it was very difficult to understand.

Nice guide and nice driver but overall a bit disappointing. First stop not terribly interesting. Finisterre lighthouse stunning. Lunch rushed.

This is a professionally well organised trip to see the best of Galicia in a day with expert commentary in three languages. Highly recommended.

The wonderful young lady who narrated and interpreted our trip and the coach driver who negotiated the roads along the way did a magnificent job and made this adventure one that we will always remember.

Two of us had booked the 6 hour bus tour to Finisterre and Muxia for the day after we completed the Camino Frances. We had limited time, but wanted to see the coast. Toxo Travel/Taxi called at 9:30pm the night before the tour to cancel due to lack of numbers. They offered us the 9.5 hour tour, but we did not have the time. I complained about the late cancellation and explained that we had looked forward to this trip for weeks. He did not apologize and instead started yelling at me for not answering my phone earlier ( I was at mass during his first call at 7:30). I wished I had read the reviews, because others wrote about the same scenario. This was a great disappointment to us, and the customer service was really horrible. This tour is not dependable, so do not count on it.

I had originally booked the shorter excursion to Finisterre and Muxia, mostly for time constraints and I really didn’t fancy spending 9 hours in a bus. The night before was told that my excursion would be the long one. Well, it was definitely too long! Having completed a Camino Portuguese a day before , I did not enjoy being on a full bus most of the day from 09:30 until 18:00 !! Could have done without seeing the waterfalls or the old Roman bridge. The guide was friendly enough, but it was just too much listening to him translate everything in 3 languages all day long. I would have preferred a headphones system. 2 days later, my friend’s excursion also got switched to the longer one, and she wasn’t pleased either.

We had a great experience visiting Finsterra, and other Galician coastal towns! The tour guide and driver (Jose) were courteous and keep everything on time. The tour guide (sorry, forgot her name) spoke good English, and was very clear in her explanations of history, legends of each place. Great job!

Having just completed the Camino Frances this was a really fantastic tour to take to see the end and close off a great adventure

Finestara and Muxia were must sees and did not disappoint. Tour was well organized, just the right amount of time at each stop, and excellent guide and driver. Highly recommend.

The guide was very good and has great knowledge of each stop. He was friendly and care for his passengers. He walked to each location with the passengers while pointing out the interests of each location.

5 stars for our guide, the bus driver, and, of course, the views. All terrific! But we didn't actually go on the tour we signed up for... our 6 hour tour was cancelled. 3 stars due to miscommunication and tour cancellation. Although Toxo Travel attempted to reach me the night before on WhatsApp, there was no identifying message, only "Hi" so I did not respond to the message. It wasn't until the morning of the tour when I had better wifi access that the information was received to my understanding. Our original tour was scheduled for 6 hours which would've given us time for dinner and the evening pilgrim mass in Santiago. The 9 hour tour was just too much for our last day in Santiago leading to a very rushed evening.

In one day we were able to visit all the important sites: Muros, the giant granary, the amazing waterfall into the sea, Fisterra (the end of the world), Muxia, and the beautiful Ponte Maceira. Our guide, Rubén, was funny and informative with his standard patter (with a pleasing voice), and his English was decent enough. So good value. The timing was impeccably organised, so that there was just the right time to enjoy every stop. The coach itself was not great luxury but good enough. We were, however, lucky with the weather. We had initially thought about hiring a car to go to Fisterra. So glad we took this tour instead.

If the weather is bad, it should be suspended, because when it rains a lot, you can't appreciate anything and the agency's obligation is to take the weather into account
