Perfect ending to Camino
Great hotel. Strategically situated from 5 minutes walk to the historical downtown. The rooms were large, clean and well kept. The service was 5 stars definitely. The breakfast falls a bit short though but good with fresh items and great coffee.it just need more variety.
Overall it was a great stay! I would go back and recommend it.
If you feel like spoiling yourself after the long camino walk then book a night or two at Eurostars Araguaney. A red carpet greats you on the steps up to the entrance. Very pleasant staff and exceptional rooms. Located just away from the hustle of the old town but yet close walking distance to all the cafes etc. If I ever return to SdC I will book my room here.
This hotel gets very mixed reviews but we had an excellent stay. The art work.is stunning.
We had finished the Camino Portuguesa on our bikes and they were stored in a secure room in the garage. We were able to checkin early and our room on the 6th floor was spacious and comfortable with a great balcony with evening sun.
Breakfast was very relaxed with a great selection of fresh foods and very attentive staff who were constantly clearing tables and topping up the food options.
A real treat at the end of our camino.
Lovely old fashioned five stars hotel. Chock full of contemporary art, part of their Foundation collection. Wonderful firm beds, impeccably clean, and gorgeous wood furniture with hand made wood inlays. We loved it so much we stayed for two weeks. Recommended!
