Full Day Marinka Waterfall And Sierra Minca

Christina was amazing. Daniel the driver was amazing. My husband and Kids had an amazing time. Family friendly adventure and the beauty of nature all in one. It was an amazing day!

Fantastic tour- our best on our trip. Christina took great care of us and let us dictate the amount of time we spent at the waterfalls, lunch and the coffee plantation. The trip up the Sierra Navada mountains to the Minca town was a delightful break from the heat at the coast. Our son enjoyed the optional zip line. Everything was perfect. This is a great addition to any Santa Marta visit.

Frederico was amazing, he took care of us from fetching us from our villa to making sure we had a great time and getting us back to our car without us ever having to worry about the logistics. I highly recommend this experience to enjoy the beauty and culture of Colombia and Minca

Breathtaking experience at Marinka Waterfall in Minca! This trip was well-planned from start to finish. The journey to the waterfall was an adventure in itself, with stunning views of the lush mountainside along the way. Upon arrival, we were greeted by our amazing tour guide and took another ride in a 4x4 to arrive at the entrance of the waterfalls. The sight and sound of the cascading waterfall – truly a sight to behold. The crystal-clear water was refreshing, and swimming in the water was an unforgettable experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, enriching the excursion with his tips and took us to a fantastic restaurant for lunch. He provided us with everything we needed for a successful excursion. This trip exceeded all expectations and left us with memories to last a lifetime. A must-do for anyone visiting Minca!

The entire day was excellent. Christina was super knowledgeable and kind. The coffee was outstanding and the lunch was delicious. The waterfall was refreshing and beautiful. The moto ride up was a blast and very safe. Learning about the cocoa plant and processing procedure was fun. 100% recommend this tour.

This was by far one of the most enjoyable tours I have ever been on! You're taken on a journey through the mountains of coastal Colombia where you are taught about how some of Colombia's most valuable exports are produced. The guides and drivers were the highlight of the experience! Federico, Ronaldo and Alvaro especially, they could not have done a better job and they all went above and beyond what was expected! All the people in the community that I interacted with were unbelievably kind and excited to share their culture with others. It's a family business run by locals and it could not have been more perfect!!!!

This experience exceeded all expectations. The tour guides were amazing and extremely knowledgeable of everything, from the plants you’d hike by to the process of coffee and cocoa! You’ll come across different varieties of animals and birds! Get ready for an authentic ride in motorcycles though the jungle, enjoy the ride and get ready to live the most unforgettable experience!!!

This was such a fun day. Got picked up in a cab and drove for an hour to Minca town. There we were picked up by the guides on their motorbikes. They drove us to the waterfalls first and left us plenty of time to swim. Then we drove to the top of the mountain to the Sierra Minca hostel and we had 2 hours there to enjoy the views and swim in the heated pool. My only thought was they could leave us some time to wander in Minca town before getting the cab to take us back to Santa Marta.

The tour bus simply didn't show up after I booked a ticket, even though the organizer even confirmed details by email... well that was a day wasted.

Due to some error, the organisation forgot to pick me up. They corrected this by sending a taxi for transport to the starting place. Important detail that I missed while booking: this is an activity by motorcycle! You just get on the back with the guide driving you around, no helmet, no safety. Everyone drives around like that, but coming from a place where full safety is the norm, this felt quite… well, unsafe. The waterfall was beautiful, the view from Sierra Minca as well. We waited almost two hours for the lunch, and overstayed in my opinion on the top of the mountain. After a descent through mud (it had rained in the meantime) we got a small chocolate workshop. Fun, but nothing special. The trip was ok, but felt lacking for the price and time invested.

We were overwhelmed by the aggressive vendors in Cartagena, so we decided to escape to Santa Marta for the last few days of our vacation. We’d heard about Minca and booked a last-minute Full Day Minca Extreme tour since our hotel was unable to accommodate the type of tour we wanted. Viator contracted Tovar Extreme Adventure for our day. A driver picked us up for the private 40-minute ride to Minca. It was nice that they picked us up at 9am, so we got to sleep in a bit and grab breakfast. When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner and his 2 sons. We were a little surprised to find out we’d be touring the mountain on the back of each son’s motorcycles. Luckily, we’re adventurous so we embraced it but I can see some guests being thrown off by it. The boys (they’re 23 and 21 but lol like absolute teenagers!) were impeccable guides. Even with my kindergarten-level Spanish, they were able to point out unique things like plants and animals and history during the tour. The took amazing pictures of us at the Minka Waterfalls and made sure we had plenty of time at each stop. From the chocolate tasting to lounging at Sierra Minka, it was a relaxing and fun day!

I had a great time at Minca, beautiful place full of nature, rivers, butterflies, birds and so, perfect for picture taking, one of my favorite activities was the Full day tour with Tovar Extreme, we took a motorcycle up the Sierra Nevada mountain, visited great spots, beautiful waterfalls, Coffee and Cacao tours conducted by profecionals, it was affordable, fun and educational, the guide was great and we got to enjoy each spot no rush, by the end of the tour I was exhausted, they dropped me off at my Hostal, I liked it so much that I booked the Bird Watching Tour for the next morning, I got to see beautiful birds, I saw Toucans for the first time in my life, it was awesome, I strongly recommend it. Thank you Tovar Extreme, I had a great time!!!

I had a great time with the extreme outing walking the paths and beautiful landscapes of Minca. We rode a motorbike with the guide Fede, very talented at riding a motorbike on the stones, both on the way up and down, a unique experience. The most beautiful thing was getting to see the sunrise on Kennedy Hill, I felt like I was floating on the clouds. Thank you so much! Then we toured the Victoria estate to know a sustainable way to process coffee and ended the day with the visit to Marinka Waterfall, which left me very relaxed. The total cap was the ancestral massage with Nelcy. An excellent day in Minca with a family that delivers a lot of good vibe, safety and affection. I'd always come back

The tour was wonderful, the guides are very friendly and attentive and the best thing is that the agency is local to Minca. We were also presented with bracelets made by local indigenous people, so in all honesty I recommend calling Tovar Extreme when you go to Santa Marta and want to live an unforgettable experience ❤️

A wonderful, unique experience.. love this walk, I connected with nature and with my family we enjoyed from start to finish thanks to the company and excellent attention of Tovar Aventura Extrema. We'll be back.
