Bonita Bay Concept Hotel

Great location ..in front of the ocean .. The rooms are ok and the bathrooms are good ...soap and shampoo small containers...it looks like most of the rooms have noise from pigeons that are inside the balconies ceilings. Breakfast is no buffet a waitres take your order but has very small selection... The hotel only have AC in the rooms not anywhere else in the hotel... Rrstaurant and lobby are very warm ..We feel bad for the crew that works there.. The best of this hotel is crew that works there was very helpful with Us abd even gave Us another room that didnt have any issues like the one that we spent our first night... Tania Luis Clara and Lady definetly made our stay so much better....they really saved us....accommodating all what we needed .....even miss Clara gave us a travels breakfast for our trip to the tayrona park...Luis gave us really good advices for tours and restaurants in the area...thank you so much to all the crew!!!

Definitely not a 4 Star hotel As they advertise, it’s in a commercial center above a few restaurants in a ugly, busy building, Small rooms with constant noise from the floor above. AC is not working that good. The shower is big and good hot water. It’s a OK, place if you just need to put your head somewhere between flights otherwise, find an Airbnb

I’ve stayed at Bonita Bay Concept Hotel several times, and it’s always a fantastic experience. Whenever friends visit Santa Marta, I always recommend they stay here too. The staff is truly wonderful, friendly, helpful, and always welcoming. The rooms are a great size, clean, and comfortable. When I had my friends and family come for my wedding, the hotel went above and beyond to accommodate everyone, which meant so much to me. I also love that the hotel feels safe and is conveniently located near everything you need. Every time I come back, the staff remembers me, and it feels like coming home. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Pros: 1. Excellent location in between downtown and one block from the beach. 2. The service was uniformly excellent, from reception to the daily (included) breakfast to the cleaning staff. 3. The water pressure / temperature, and air conditioning were all great. 4. There’s a ton of storage for your bags, purchases, etc. in the room (room 6). 5. Although there’s bowling one level below, I never heard it and, also on the 3rd floor, that’s where they have their morning breakfasts, which feature spectacular views of the beach! Cons: 1. Since you’re next to a busy beach, it can get a little loud in the early evenings, especially when those drums come out! 2. The shower, at least in room 6, doesn’t have a complete seal to prevent shower water from flowing somewhat into the main part of the bathroom when the door is open (and when the shower is off). 3. The reception area is hot at times. Recommendation: Since the closest, “real” coffee place does not open until 7 am (Tostao, two blocks away), a coffee machine or well kept, drip brew machine near reception would be nice. All in all, BBCH is a great hotel, recommended!
