B&b Hotel Park Hotel Suisse Santa Margherita Ligure

Although a bit dated on the outside the inside of the hotel looked like it had been refurbished to a very high standard. Apart from a few areas which were a little tatty the communal areas were adequate and the pool area was fantastic. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the issue of a welcome drink voucher on arrival was a nice bonus. The room was very large and the addition of a fruit bowl made it extra special. The only downside was the temperature of the shower which was hot and cold intermittently. Great location and overall had a very enjoyable stay.

Beautiful sea view from balcony. Room and bathroom were a little outdated and balcony could have done with being cleaner. Cleaning staff were friendly. Parking available at an extra €15 euro daily cost, which adds up over a week but parking elsewhere very expensive so understandable, spaces fill up on weekend. Pool towels provided which was good and a good sized pool area. Aircon quite loud in rooms and next to no sound proofing.

This is my second time staying here. I was a little disappointed with the service. Staff are helpful enough it just didn’t have the warmth that I remember . Our initial stay was 4 nights and then we added on an extra 5 days. I had booked this hotel several months in advance and we were given a double room that was so small . We spoke to staff straight away and told them of our disappointment, unfortunately there were no other rooms available that night. So we had to sleep in a bed that was pushed against the wall. It was so uncomfortable we hardly slept. They did however move us to the larger double room for the rest of our stay and reduce the cost of that room for that night. There is no way that room is for two adults and why is there a difference in room sizes when you are paying the same amount. The ladies who make up the rooms are just lovely.

Photos might be misleading as not all rooms are renovated. - The bathroom is in very poor condition; the paint on the ceiling is peeling off, and the shower is dirty. - Additionally, the blackout blind doesn't work, letting light in from everywhere. - There are also two red sofas that are completely ruined and very poorly maintained. On the positive side, the service is fine and the treatment is good. Still, some rooms need a clear renewal.
