Good:
- location was excellent… close to the museum and bus to Göbeklitepe and a short walk to Balıklıgöl
- restaurant staff were great
- lunch was very decent
Not so good:
- gentleman at the spa/pool insisted I buy a swim cap to be allowed to swim even though I tried to tell him my head will not be going under the water… it’s ridiculous! first time ever at a hotel pool (or ANY pool for that matter) that I’ve been insisted on getting a swim cap before being allowed to swim! -3 stars for that! was so looking forward to a refreshing swim after a hot day out only to be disappointed
- hotel was really warm during the day… was perspiring during lunch…
We were very satisfied. We stayed for one night. The location, cleanliness, and comfort were all excellent. The hotel staff were very attentive and helpful. We would especially like to thank Mr. Kadir. He patiently and carefully answered all of our questions.
A wonderful hotel with friendly staff. They were prompt and efficient with any request we had. Facilities were very clean and luxurious. I enjoyed the swimming and spa facilities, which were welcome after long days exploring the incredible historical sites nearby.
Among the staff Abdullah Yasar was charming and most helpful. We would most certainly return to this lovely hotel should we venture back......
A great location for the museum. Pools of Abraham and bazaar not far. Good hotel and very reasonably priced. Abdullah Yaşar was especially helpful at the hotel. He was very friendly, polite and efficient. He even helped me to learn a bit of Kurdish, which was kind.
We have had the greatest of pleasures in meeting Abdullah yasar and ismail at the Hotel, both of these Gentlemen have been so accommodating, tentative, their kindness shown to us have really made our Holiday, our first time in Turkey. These Gents have given us the best advice, sharing their knowledge of Sanliurfa and wider area has been outstanding, really made our Holiday. Within the Hotel they outshine their peers, their happy cheerful persona, we have never felt judged by them - being European, we have honestly had such a warm reception from them both. We have spent our evenings in the Hotel only due to them both being so accommodating, relaxed and cheerful, they have made us laugh, feel comfortable and safe....that means a lot to us both, we are in our 60s. Again Thankyou for making our Holiday truly memorable. The Hotel should be proud to have you both on board.
