A beautiful tranquil place nice and clean with great service. The common areas nice airy, great outdoor area with pool to relax. The owner was so friendly and welcoming. A perfect day place for getaway.

The guesthouse is conveniently situated in a quiet area within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the beach The welcome, check-in and service are warm and friendly The rooms come with all your basic necessities which makes the stay quite comfortable Breakfast was delicious every morning and the bar and swimming pool are a added bonus

I only stayed overnight, whilst on short business trip. I usually always book at a hotel in Umhlanga but wanted to try a guest house for a change. Upon booking, I chose the sea view option instead of garden / pool view option. Unfortunately, there was zero sea view from my room (#4). Please amend your online description to avoid future guest disapointment. Thank you Marco

Been here twice and I must say that Sally and Bob are the most gracious hosts I've had the pleasure of knowing. They're warm and welcoming every time with really great recommendations and a really good knowledge of the area. The room sizes are much bigger than your average guest house. The bed is huge with top class bedding and absolutely comfortable. Very quiet and peaceful even when they're fully booked. Great views from upstairs balcony with beautiful patio and indoor furnishings. Will undoubtedly recommend The Hamptons if you're lucky to get a booking.
