Gave it a 4 star after my visit in 2023 . Giving it 3 star this time around , breakfast could do with more variety. Otherwise shoutout to the 2 guys , Lindo and Mxo Zuma for great customer service at the restaurant.

A SUNDAY LUNCH AT PREMIER HOTEL UMHLANGA ...WARNING: "This buffet may cause uncontrollable second and third plates…” 😂 What an absolutely wonderful Sunday lunch experience at Premier Hotel Umhlanga! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this was going to be far more than just an ordinary buffet. The selection was impressive, beautifully presented and, most importantly, absolutely delicious! The huge prawns 🦐 were a definite highlight, while the fish was exceptional. And that sauce accompanying the fish? Simply out of this world! 👌🔥 The roast selection was equally impressive — tender roast chicken, succulent roast lamb and beautifully prepared roast vegetables, along with a delicious variety of curries and oxtail. There was truly something to tempt every palate. The salads and cheese selection added a lovely fresh and elegant touch to the buffet, with plenty of variety to choose from. 🥗🧀 And then… the desserts! 🍰🍮🍨 A beautiful selection of sweet treats that made the decision of what to choose almost impossible. By that stage, my stomach was politely asking me to stop, but my eyes clearly had other plans. This wasn't just a Sunday lunch… it was an EXPERIENCE! Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, full of flavour and made with real passion. 👏👨‍🍳🔥 which came together beautifully. And the only disappointment was eventually having to admit that my stomach has a capacity limit! 😂 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Premier Hotel Umhlanga — you absolutely nailed it. Chef, JERMAINE LEE GOVENDER Please take a bow! 👏👏👏 You went over and above, our taste buds are very grateful! ❤️What really made the experience special, however, was the chef and his exceptional hospitality. 👨‍🍳👏 He personally went around to each table, checking that guests were happy, enjoying the food and that everything was up to standard. That personal interaction speaks volumes. It was wonderful to see a chef who genuinely takes pride in his food and cares about the experience of his guests. He certainly has the love for food and passion for what he does, and that deserves special recognition. Highly recommended venue with a professional team of service-driven staff with attention to detail. My team and I recently hosted an event at the conference room and from inception of planning to the execution of my event, the team at Premier Hotel Umhlanga assisted me with great execution. A big thank you to Sindy and every staff member who helped make my event a great success.

I travel for work regularly and I must say this this hotel blew me away. The luxury and cleanliness was top class. The personnel were very well trained and knowledgeable. They have a keen understanding of guest experience. It was a hassle free trip and experience and I will definitely book at this hotel again.
