I had the most amazing two-night stay at Hilton Garden Inn Umhlanga Arch. From the beautiful, modern rooms to the warm hospitality, everything made the experience feel so comfortable and special.
The location is perfect, with Umhlanga Arch right on your doorstep and the beach just a short distance away. I also loved the heated pool such a great touch especially when you just want to relax and unwind.
Overall, it was a beautiful stay and I genuinely enjoyed every moment. I’d definitely recommend Hilton Garden Inn Umhlanga Arch to anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish and convenient stay in Umhlanga. I can’t wait to visit again!
A very pleasant stay at Hilton Umhlanga. The hotel offers a beautiful view, and the overall quality of the facilities makes the price feel justified. The staff were friendly, professional and welcoming throughout the stay. The swimming pool is particularly enjoyable and offers a great place to relax while taking in the surroundings. The fitness room is also a nice addition for those who want to stay active during their stay. Overall, a high-quality hotel with excellent facilities, a great location and a very pleasant atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it for a stay in Umhlanga.
We attended an event today. The venue is one the best in Umhlanga. Very modern, super clean. The major downfall was the food. The buffet was abit average id give it a 5/10, the desserts, simple and not good. Tea time snacks were a shocker, looked good, sadly it was below standard incomparion to places like Raddison and Oysterbox, most of the snacks were cold, dry and tasteless. If they get the food right, they serious competiors to be one of the best in Durban.
Best hotel in the Umhlanga area in my opinion, based on amenities and excellent service. The hotel is in a beautiful precinct, close to shops, less than a km from the promenade. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Nicely quiet inside the rooms, I slept well. You basically get 5 star treatment from the moment you arrive.
Also. I had a car issue that reception quickly helped me solve, without complaining once. It was done seamlessly and as quietly as possible. Forever grateful, and will absolutely be staying at the Hilton the next time I am in Durban.
Probably the nicest hotel room I've ever had in South Africa. Super comfortable room, the desk was great for working, and the amenities were perfect. Cool AC in the room, though it was warm down in the lobby. Location to the airport and the parking were both very convenient.
