Its great if you get a good a suite from a good agent. The resort is divided into 2 ,the left side is run by a management group but the right side is privately owned & run by agents. Some units on the right are a nightmare & nobody(onsite team of staff) can help unfortunately. Management group need to clean up more in the common areas after people coming in wet from pools & the beach

Mould in the room! AND apparently, guests are expected to just live with it This has been an absolutely unacceptable experience. We were given a room with visible mould, and naturally, we requested to be moved to another room. The response? We were told that the resort is at full occupancy. So, because the resort is fully booked, we are apparently expected to sleep in a room with mould after paying to stay here. That is an appalling way to treat paying guests. Full occupancy is not an acceptable excuse for providing a room with mould and then expecting guests to simply tolerate the conditions. If there are no alternative rooms available, that does not magically make the existing room acceptable. The most disappointing part is the complete lack of consideration for the fact that we are raising a legitimate concern about the condition of the room. We did not ask for anything unreasonable, we asked for a clean, suitable room that we can actually sleep in. A resort should be inspecting rooms properly before handing them over to guests. Mould should never be something a paying guest discovers after checking in, let alone something they are then expected to sleep alongside because the resort is at capacity. We paid for accommodation, not for the privilege of compromising on basic hygiene. Extremely disappointing. The condition of the room is unacceptable, and the response from management has made the situation even worse.
Been here a few times, always enjoy our stay. Rooms are decently sized and have views of the sea. The resort is at the end of the Umhlanga promenade so it is nice and quiet with the nature reserve to your left and you have beach access. It seems to be very child friendly with a heated pool with slides and lots of activities.
Lovely location, nice pools and love bingo and bongi our friend always nice to talk to every day. Enjoy the bring and braai. Music last Tues 2 June not that good. Today 9 June much better. Will probably be back next year.
To the Breakers Resort Team & Staff: The location was perfect for sightseeing, and the hotel staff made us feel at home. Rooms were clean, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed. Spent most of the time around the pool area and had the most tranquil massage on their on-site spa. I highly recommend it!. We were fortunate enough to interact with a lady named Buyi amended everything we needed & welcomed us with open arms, this felt like we're being welcomed home. If you're still looking for a safe and memorable stay, look no further, this hotel is the one. Can't wait to come back soon with my friends.
