Beverly Hills

The Beverly Hills is truly the grand old dame of Umhlanga—old-school glamour, elegant opulence, pristine surroundings and those magnificent ocean views. The staff are wonderfully warm, smiling and genuinely eager to help. I only visited for breakfast, and while the setting in the Sugar Club is absolutely breathtaking, the breakfast itself was a happy 8 out of ten rather than five-star spectacular. A good selection, but I would have loved a little more finesse in the ingredients and presentation. All in all, though, a lovely experience in a truly iconic and beautiful hotel. The Beverly Hills has an unmistakable charm and elegance that newer hotels simply cannot replicate. Breakfast there is certainly worth experiencing where one can sit back, admire the view, and let a little old-world Umhlanga glamour wash over you.

From the moment we arrived until the day we departed, our stay at the Beverly Hills Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. This is a beautiful five-star property in an unbeatable location, with breathtaking ocean views overlooking the beach and the iconic Umhlanga Lighthouse. Waking up to that view each morning was simply unforgettable. Our room was spacious, beautifully appointed, impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable. The facilities throughout the hotel were excellent, and the breakfast each morning was outstanding with a fantastic selection and exceptional quality. What truly sets the Beverly Hills Hotel apart, however, is its people. A five-star hotel is defined not only by its facilities but by the level of service it delivers, and the team here exceeded every expectation. Every member of staff greeted us with genuine warmth, professionalism, and a smile, making us feel valued throughout our stay. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Mbali, the Rooms Division Manager, whose kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail ensured that every aspect of our stay was perfect. Her care and commitment to guest satisfaction were truly outstanding. A special thank you also goes to Nontokozo at Reception, who noticed that we were celebrating our birthdays and surprised us with a thoughtful birthday celebration in our room. It was such a meaningful gesture that made our stay even more memorable, and we are incredibly grateful for her thoughtfulness. Thank you to the entire Beverly Hills Hotel team for creating such a memorable experience. We left with wonderful memories and cannot wait to return. Our stay at the Beverly Hills Hotel was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The staff were incredibly helpful, professional, and polite, always going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. A special mention to Ayanda, the porter, whose warm personality, attentiveness, and exceptional service made our stay even more memorable. The service throughout the hotel was outstanding, the views are breathtaking, and the rooms were spotless and beautifully maintained. Every detail contributed to a truly relaxing and luxurious experience. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special. We look forward to returning and would highly recommend the Beverly Hills Hotel to anyone looking for exceptional hospitality & stunning views.

Great hotel but since my last visit the breakfast buffet is less opulent. Also, the breakfast service staff are slow and often not available when wanting to order something. The bathroom is very cramped for a five star hotel. Still enjoy coming here and recommend it
