centrally located with comfortable rooms and wonderful air conditioning (needed during the hot days of July), Arbaso was the perfect base for all our San Sebastian activities! The team was friendly and knowledgeable when we had questions about local transportation.
LOVED this hotel. I was here for two weeks and while it was a little pricier than where I would normally stay, I am so glad I opted for the Arbaso. The service was incredibly warm and welcoming and came through on getting me dinner reservations at places that don't normally reserve (which was extremely helpful to me), my room was wonderful - spacious and very quiet - I slept amazingly well throughout my stay, and the LOCATION is fantastic. It's walkable to most everywhere but it is close within a 5 minute walk of various buses you might want to take. Absolutely the best stay.
The hotel was beautiful and centrally located. I really loved the fact that we could walk 5-15 minutes in any direction and be either at the beach, in Old Town, or shopping. The staff at the hotel was so warm and helpful - and that warmth and hospitality started long before we even arrived, as they communicated with me before our arrival and throughout our stay. The ability to reserve a car to pick us up at Bilbao airport and drive us back to Bilbao was so appreciated - this made our transport so much easier and I really appreciated never having to worry about how we would get from one place to another, as the staff would reserve us a taxi whenever we needed it. The level of service and care provided by the staff is what I would expect from a hotel of this caliber and they far exceeded my expectations. We also ate at Restaurante Narru which was a definite highlight of the trip - I would say some of the best food I have ever had in my life. Make a reservation before you arrive and plan to eat there - you will not regret it! I would recommend this hotel to anyone I know who is planning a visit to San Sebatian and would definitely stay here again!
Everything at the Hotel Arbaso is wonderful, from the aesthetic of the hotel to the amenities to the nicely appointed and very comfortable accommodations. Narru, the connected restaurant, is fantastic as well, and the location is incredibly convenient. The most outstanding is the service here at Arbaso -- many thanks to Raul for his friendly attitude and help to create special memories. Also many thanks to Xabier, who was exceedingly helpful as well. The rest of the staff at the front desk were also so kind and wonderful. Truly an impeccable experience!
The hotel Arbaso was our newest find in San Sebastián. While we’ve stayed at the posh Maria Cristina, I would suggest that Arbaso has equal standards and exceptional service that may even surpass the others. Rooms are quite spacious, incredibly comfortable and well lit with natural light. We didn’t hear any street noise when windows were closed. (Side note: super solid and high end windows and finishes). We had a somewhat stocked complimentary minibar in our for which we could help ourselves with the understanding that what was there would not be replenished; however, what was provided was perfect for our two night stay. Pillow menu, fantastic location, Dyson hair dryer(!!!!!), high-end standards and an extraordinary value!! Highly recommend this property, especially for the price and service.
