To start, a great architecture. Place is lovely. That’s all. What do you expect from a hotel? For me, shower and bed. Shower is good, but the glass of my shower was cracked. The bed is the worst you can imagine. When you book, they are describing “queen or twin”. You have no choice and I was unfortunate to have the twin bed unified to become a queen. More than having the uncomfortable junction of the beds, the mattress is so thin that you feel the structure of the bed. It is horrible! The room is already dated - no USB ports, the Google Chromecast didn’t work for me… To finalize, in my last night, one of my fresh towels had a clear lipstick mark demonstrating a poor washing.

Just out of town, a 10 minute bus ride and a lovely Scandi style modern five star hotel. Informal service with friendly concierge always willing to help. Very Eco-friendly but very comfortable for a short or longer stay. Food very seasonal and lots of healthy options and nice deserts, very affordable to dine in. Refreshing roof top pool views of Forrest and nature trail below. Spa lovely we enjoyed the heat and hydrotherapy experiences especially the magnesium one. I had a truly relaxing Amira ritual by a very experienced therapist. Loved the cold mint and lemon infused water in reception. Thank you we stayed six nights . Jane
We stayed at the Arima Hotel for one night while traveling from the UK to Madrid, and it was an excellent experience. We had informed the hotel that we would be arriving late, and everything was perfectly prepared for us when we arrived around 2–3 AM. The staff were very kind and welcoming. We were given a spacious room, and they had even prepared a bed for our toddler , which we really appreciated. Cleanliness was outstanding. The room was spotless, and there were complimentary water bottles and some snacks waiting for us. The air conditioning was already on but completely silent, and the temperature in the room was perfect. The hotel design is modern, clean, and smells very fresh. The location is great close to the city center but surrounded by nature, next to a forest, which makes it feel very peaceful and beautiful. Check-in and check-out were extremely quick and smooth, and parking was also available, which made things very convenient. We have stayed in many 4 and 5-star hotels in different countries, but this one genuinely surprised us. The only downside was that we were just passing through and only stayed one night. We would really love to come back soon for a proper holiday.
Absolutely wonderful stay! Everything was exceptional, from the room to the hotel’s facilities. What truly made the experience unforgettable was the incredible staff, all so warm and welcoming. A special thank you to Haizea, who made my stay even more memorable with her kindness and sunny energy! I celebrated a perfect birthday here. Hope there will be a chance to come back again!
Our party had 3 rooms total. It was a mixed bag. Pros: Helpful, friendly staff at reception. Very reasonable minibar prices, only €3.50 for a beer! Spacious parking garage included. Large nice bath tub in the room upgrade they gave us for being Hilton diamond Terrific forest views, like you're in a tree house Cons: It's about 30m by bus to the old town, door to door. Instead of a trash can there is a giant (3.3m ish) drawer in the bathroom for trash. They give you compostable bags but these bags in the drawer but these bags are not large enough to be held up by the drawer so you just have loose bags of trash. Very weird. We had ants in our room at check in but they sent housekeeping to kill them. Our other 2 rooms didn't have bugs. Challenging to get seated in the restaurant for dinner or cafe for breakfast In room coffee machine only has one regular and one decaf coffee capsule Hilton elites are only given a single free bottle of water for the entire stay instead of daily Breakfast buffet is lackluster and the coffee machine is bad but if you wait for breakfast to finish you can get a real latte for just €2.10 Rooms have smart blinds but here is no way to open and close all of them from a single switch so you have to walk around the room to do it Despite having a room at the end of the hallway and where the bed was around a corner, we could hear any time our neighbors came and went as the doors are very loud It seemed like a lot of people here were hiking so maybe the hotel is better for that. If you were going to go to San Sebastian a lot then the distance is challenging
