We had an outstanding experience on this tour to Valle de La Luna. Everything was exceptionally well organized, with perfect punctuality from start to finish. The team was professional, attentive, and always willing to help, making us feel safe and well taken care of throughout the entire experience. A special mention to our guide, Carolina and the driver Felipe, who truly went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. We booked all our tours through Nomades Chile, and the coordination between Nomades and their local partners was flawless. The level of service, attention to detail, care for the guests, and overall professionalism exceeded our expectations. Every part of the experience felt smooth, well planned, and customer focused. This tour was really fun, and our guide, Duncan, was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable. The happy hour was lovely. I booked this tour through Denomades, and I wish they'd included information about how much walking/hiking was involved because it was fine for us, but was a challenge for at least one in our group.

Tour was well organised, our tour guide Pauli was great, very informative and made sure the group stayed together. She helped keep the spirits high! The Moon Valley was a little disappointing though, wished we had more time exploring the valley. Not sure if that was all for the Moon Valley or if there’s more to it that we didn’t manage to explore. We just went to a viewpoint for 10 mins (which was very crowded with other groups) before heading down towards a (very small) salt mine. The sunset viewpoint at the end was very nice, but not in the Moon Valley park. A little underwhelming to be honest.

Took a tour to the Moon valley. Everything was just amazing! Our guide Carolina was amazing- told the history of the places with humor and gave lots of recommendations about Atacama. Really liked the Pisco sour money before the sunset:) Highly recommend.

Enjoyed the tour with the guide. Took the tour in early December and we left the hotel at 3:30/3:45. It was very hot so a lot of folks on our group didn’t participate in the hike, but it would be better if they had 2 options for hikes (for those who can hike more and those who can’t) to make the Valle more accessible to people. Pisco drink was nice, but should have been chilled. Guide was wonderful and great energy!

We had the knowledgeable tour guide, Mauricio Silva, for the Valle de la Luna tour and had a great, exciting time. We got to see some spectacular scenery, and our cheerful, trilingual guide educated us thoroughly about our surroundings. I would definitely recommend this tour to my friends!

My experience in the Valle de la luna with this agency was excellent. Our guide Pedo was absolutely outstanding—extremely competent, fun, and full of energy. He shared a wealth of knowledge about not just Valle de la Luna but also the entire Atacama Desert and the surrounding mountains. His insights added so much depth to the experience, making it both educational and unforgettable. From the start, he created a great atmosphere, setting a positive and cheerful mood for everyone. One of the highlights of the tour was how he guided us to the perfect spot to observe the sunset. The view was absolutely magical, and it felt like we had a front-row seat to one of nature’s greatest shows. Overall, this experience in the Atacama Desert was flawless, and the Pedro’s expertise and enthusiasm made it truly unforgettable. I would highly recommend this agency!

Great tour! Nice hike, not too strenuous and amazing views. The drive from San Pedro was very quick. We went to a second viewpoint to watch the sunset and drink a traditional Chilean cocktail and eat some snacks. Great first day in Atacama! Alejandro also took awesome photos for us!

Although the tour is very nice and the places are beautiful, the guide Carolina was impatient with the group and constantly rushed us with a complaining tone.

Guide: Carolina Pinto  Due to issues beyond the agency's control (weather), we had to reschedule this tour in our itinerary, and it ended up being our last experience in San Pedro de Atacama. Unfortunately, my mother and I said goodbye with a terrible experience. The guide's communication is terrible. I say this with much respect, but even in Spanish (her native language and mine as well), it was difficult to explain things about the tour itself. And not to mention her level of English, which (again, without disrespect) is deficient. I am sure that the people who only understood English did not understand anything about the tour and only took photos. A job whose main function is to explain things feels very complex in that context. Nowhere in the tour description does it indicate that a hike (uphill) through dunes is performed. I would have preferred to know because, personally, I was already exhausted, but regardless of this, at no point did the guide ask if the whole group felt capable of doing that hike or if we could go slowly and at our own pace. Something related to the previous point, after that walk and when we were already at Las Tres Marías, I noticed that a child was feeling unwell (dizziness), and I personally had to ask the driver to open the car so the child could sit down. And I assisted him with water and something to eat. The driver only helped by opening the door for me. And the guide, who at that moment did not find out about the situation, later, when she was aware that we had returned to the car for this reason, showed zero interest in the child. Although this tour does not go up to such a high altitude compared to San Pedro, we are still at an altitude of 2300 m, and everyone reacts differently. It is worrying to think about having felt unwell during this tour because I feel that I would not have received any help. It was quite disappointing to walk past other groups and listen to the other guides: clear explanations, good English, recommendations on how to take photos. It was a world of difference. On other tours here in San Pedro I have had great experiences with guides, this was the exception. This bad experience does not erase any of how incredible other tours are and everything I experienced in San Pedro and its surroundings, but it is worth recording what was described, because they are very avoidable bad experiences.

I have no complaints about the guide Lore, but they promised us a cocktail that ultimately did not happen. When I encountered a group from this same agency at another destination, I noticed that they are a bit stingy with the food.

Excellent experience, excellent guide and driver (Manu and Sergio) 10/10 both, excellent photographers as well. Very pleasant experience. 100% recommended.

Our Andrea Guide showed us the valley of the Moon in detail, moving through the sectors contrary to the influx of public so our experience was more pleasant, great knowledge. Later we were taken to a viewpoint to finish the trip to see a beautiful sunset, accompanied by a good cocktail.

It has been a great excursion!! Silvia, our guide has been a charm and added us to see the sunset from the Valley of the moon that was spectacular. We recommend this agency 100%

The tour starts by going through the valley of the Moon, our guide, Manu Moyano who was lucky enough to also enjoy another tour (the same day) a real phenomenon. Easy explanations for difficult concepts, enlivening everything with their humor and well done walked us through the valley taking us to the places with better perspective! We contracted 4 tours with the agency, it was one of the best experiences we had. Grateful for your organization, always on time, sending advance information for each type of tour. I highlight the work of each of the boys Cesar, Javier, Ariel, Dunkan (guide) for their high knowledge and good music. But I want to make special mention of our guide Manu, from the first tour he created a very pleasant Mood for the group, always making us part of the tour, opening conversations, doubts and above all informing with passion and knowledge on the subject. I recommend this tour agency, for having professional and qualified people in their positions. Do not hesitate to contract with them. Unfortunately we went with my husband and lived an unpleasant experience on the tour, apart from selling pictures of places you do not visit, the itinerary was not fully fulfilled, hopefully we were 20 minutes inside the valley the very friendly guide, but distracted, supposedly lost some tourists who were always inside the car, there we lost enough time when in fact it was easier to count passengers. But this did not start there, when they send us a message to go pay for the tour, we are greeted by a girl, she asks us to carry cash, we will pay and she tells us that she has no cash to return, then she asks us only transfers, but it turns out that they also do not have Internet on site. The truth is that we had another tour with them and frankly we prefer to lose it and not do it, I do not recommend them at all.

The best tour I had in my visit in San Pedro de Atacama, Andrea the best guide, with a lot of knowledge not only of the place and its history but also of the surroundings and other areas of Chile, also super attentive and enjoyable.

The Moon Valley is a beautiful and magical place, but some of that magic goes away when you have a guide who doesn’t love his work. Our guide was Victoria and we didn't really enjoy the Tour. We went fast with very few explanations and little desire. Too bad because the site told me to spend better time and explanations.

We made 3 excursions with this agency and I must say that they are organized very well, constant communications with whatsapp with info and directions. All very professional guides and drivers. Special thanks to KOKE who accompanied us to the Valley of the Moon, explaining so many things during our visit from geology to volcanology, from astronomy to folk tales but, above all, for the valuable tips to avoid (health) problems during the visit to the Geyser of TATIO.
