About Activity
Set out on a thrilling 4-hour adventure departing from the hotel and heading northeast of San Pedro de Atacama by vehicle. In the Guatín Valley, two rivers converge: Puritama, with hot water, and Purifica, with cold water. These rivers merge to form the Vilama channel, creating the distinctive ecosystem of the Guatín gorge, where we embark on a thrilling hike. Along the way, we encounter impressive cardones cacti, diverse vegetation, and exciting rock descents and river jumps, adding adventure to our exploration.
