About Activity
We'll journey towards Toconao, with the Licancabur volcano in sight. Along the way, we'll pass native trees and reach the oasis town at km 38, known for its fruit cultivation. We'll briefly visit the main square to see the Church and San Lucas Tower, both National Monuments, before entering the expansive Atacama Salt Flats in the Los Flamencos National Reserve. These flats, Chile's largest salt deposit, host diverse bird species, including flamingos, thanks to the formation of lagoons like Chaxa.
