Multi-day Tour In San Pedro De Atacama With Pickup

We had the best tour cocktail in San Pedro with 3 amazing days. Mercedes was amazing, 24/7 responsive and you can get a taylor made trip. We chose some private and some group activities and it worked out really well!

Atacama is just fantastic. San Pedro de Atacama is a very cute town. The lunar scape is overall ok but astronomical tour and tour of the lagoons is an ABSOLUTELY must do. Toursimo de Chile arranged everything very well. The van, the guides were great abs everything was on time. Highly recommend

Bravissimo to all at Turismo Chile tours. We had a party of three on their multi day tour and it was excellent . Lift and laid at our door each day all on times the tour guides and drivers all excellent and helpful and advice given for what to wear etc all spot on. For those on the Taito Geysers tour, I’m from Scotland, and even I thought it was bloody cold! Highly recommend.

I absolutely loved my experience with Turismo Chile Tours. All the tours and guides were great end-to-end (group size, duration, snacks and transportation), and the fact that it was a Chilean company made all the difference. I booked one of their programs, but had to adapt it because I was planning a special surprise. They were super flexible, supportive and helped me plan my special occasion with such care and dedication that made it all feel even more special. We thoroughly enjoyed these tours. As others have mentioned the tour operators in San Pedro tend to help each other out and if numbers are not sufficient you may find another company running the tour. This happened to us once and the quality was lower though still good., Chile Turismo themselves were excellent. The sites are spectacular and the food provided was very good, we had some lovely meals. The guides were also excellent, Natalia and Reinaldo were informative, friendly and helpful, we enjoyed their company. The driving was very safe thanks to their drivers Migeul and Aldo . The communication was also good with WhatsApp groups set up, information shared and pick up times/schedule shared. We felt this booking was good value for money for us, it may be cheaper to walk round San Pedro and book individually, I don't know, we wanted to be sure of our booking before leaving home and did not want to spend holiday time sorting out trips. We had a great time, thanks to our guides, and would recommend Chile Turismo.

This 4 day tour is an assembly of day trips by different tour operators. Booking on this site is booking through one of operators who then organises/subcontracts the tours to different companies. This led to inconsistencies in the quality of the tours overall. One day the van was comfortable but then another day the van would have broken seats, a sliding door that couldn't be opened internally, and seats installed so closely together that no one was comfortable as there was no leg room. This matters as there is a lot of driving. That said, the destinations themselves were interesting and the tour guides were energetic and enthusiastic about their work. The English translation of the content of the tour is good as English is a second and sometimes third language for most of the guides but it won't get too technical or complex. Overall I would not recommend booking this "multi day tour" and suggest so.e alternatives. Arrive in San Pedro and visit the various tour operators who are all located on the same main street within a very short walking distance of each other and organise some trips. They all work together anyway and the tour guides all contract to the different operators so you are not particularly advantaged by booking in person as opposed to in advance. Or, if using these booking engines, I would suggest booking each day tour individually. This is because you will save at least US $250 over the total cost of this "multi day tour" by booking each destination as an individual day tour. I know I will do that when I return to Chile.

Wonderful experience with excellent guides: we visited laguna Chaxa, pedras rojas and altiplanic lagoons with Diego and Ignacio, and another day we visited geyser del tatio and the moon valley with Jimena and Miguel. Both the experirnces were amazing with Guinea super professionals, friendly and available, they do their job with passion and competence.

My husband and I spent 2 days with Marcos visiting Valley of the Moon and several sites including the salt flats, flamingo lakes and volcano formations. The scenery was spectacular and Marcos was very knowledgeable and fun! We had a lovely meal outside the van on both days with locally sourced tasty food. One minor suggestion would be to update the van; however the safe driving in sometimes difficult terrain, expert touring and conversation put us at ease. We all felt at the end of our days together, that we were friends.

I am taking 5 trips with Go Chile as well as airport pick up and drop off. All services have been excellent. Great guides and drivers. All pick ups have been on time. So much to see in the Atacama area and all of the trips have been very different

We reserved three days with this agency. All private tour with Cristobal as a guide. From the reservation process where they customized everything for us to the pick up, the meals, the guide it was an amazing experience. Cristobal was not only great to spend three days with, his knowledge was amazing, his driving smooth and he was so flexible. I strongly recommend this agency to everyone willing to spend three great dates. Thanks again.

Turismo Chile Tours for me is the place to go in San Pedro de Atacama to explore the area. They have a good selection of guided single and multiple-day trips on offer for what I feel are good value for money. The trips I booked with them were exhaustive, the guides were friendly and forthcoming with a good command of English. The transport arrangements were impeccable, on time and in modern, safe and comfortable vans. Food and drinks served on the way as part of the program were delicious, fresh and plentiful. All in all, the services provided by Tursimo Chile Tours were impeccable. Thumbs up! =)

Fantastic tours! Guides provided updates on the pick-up schedule each day. Meals were tasty and fun. Sights were amazing! I recommend always playing Chilean or South American music on the radio. Most guides played some, but thanks to Cristóbal, I was introduced to Illapu and other Chilean groups I probably would have never heard of. The astronomical tour was cancelled at the last minute because the moon was full. Lunar phases can be predicted centuries in advance, so why include it in the itinerary and get people's hopes up when you know the moon will be full? Not wanting a refund, and through persistence, I found an astrolunar tour that was pretty good. Overall, I was very pleased with all the tours I took.

They made me change hotels because "pick up and drop off's" were part of the price, one night they "forgot to pick me up" and rescheduled the tour, two days I was dropped off in the center which was 20 min walk from hotel, they used different agencies for the tours, they're super over priced, I tried to reschedule a tour and was told I could not do that, even though tours are available everyday and I was there a week after the tour, the original itinerary was not followed at all, again over priced! and let's not talk about the refund - I really would like to see a break down on how they calculate the price when they refund $30 USD per tour ... my advise wait until you are there and book through local shops which most likely you will share a bus with since is the same tour, I only gave 1 star because of the guides were nice and the contact person on whatsapp which I'm sure was doing her best was nice and its def a company issue. I will not recommend this tour at all. You can book the same itinerary for$150usd in person.

This tour company was sensational! And I highly recommend going with them over all the other groups out there. From their communication to their organization and from their tour guides to the places we saw - they did a fab job! They bring you to the most incredible spots and make the tour such fun and educational! They also prioritize the health and safety of their passengers and the land. And that's super important as you might be heading into some really high altitudes. Enjoy San Pedro Atacama and Tourismo Chile Tours!

I booked with Turismo Chile Tours and what a great decision that was. From the start communication was excellent. Friendly service and they also have an office in San Pedro de Atacama and Javiers Tapia Ruiz was so helpful and friendly and went out of his way to help us. All guides spoke multiple languages were professional knowledgeable and made each day fun. Buses and drivers also excellent. Happy to stop for photos, visited some incredible sites and the meals delivered during each trip prepared by driver and guide were delicious and plentiful. Pick up and drop of service on time always meet with a friendly smile. Can’t say enough good things about this company. 11/10

We had a great experience with Turismo Chile Tours. We did 4 days of excursions with them. Each guide was kind, patient, and taught us a lot about the sights. The food that they offered during the tours was really good. We’d recommend booking your tour with them.

I did some research before coming to San Pedro on which Travel Agencies are supposed to be good. We ended up booking with Turismo Chile four full days of activities. And what can I say it was the best decision ever! Dodo and Ron did their best in booking us all the great activities San Pedro has to offer (and there are many). Not only did they do a great job at booking us the best trips, but they also have the coolest tour guides (Anita is the best taking plenty of pictures whenever you want one) and they have the safest drivers. The groups are a maximum of 13 people which is very nice. You always get amazing food (I can’t stop thinking about the fresh French baguette with avocado in the morning and the Pisco Sour with Rica Rica in the evening). Our favorite tour was the valle de los cactus with the 30km downhill bike ride. We did one trip with a different agency and were able to tell the difference between the two. Turismo Chile is by far the best one! Make sure to find it. The office is a bit in the back of two shops. Thank you Dodo, Ron and Anita for making our stay in San Pedro so special.

Very good agency - the trips organised by them were amazing! The logistic side, the food they provided, and especially the guides were amazing. My favourite guide was Anita Paula, who together with the driver Oscar created the best atmosphere - thank you, thank you, thank you ♥️♥️♥️ The only downside of using this agency was that for many of my trips I was sent with other agencies, and they did not always provide the experience at the same level. When trips were done by other agencies the organisation side was sometimes quite chaotic.

Best travel agency in San Pedro. I did 5 tours with them, all high quality with back stories, super friendly guide and driver + awesome food and drinks. Dorian is the guy in San Pedro, super reactive with whatsapp and ready to help for anything. I even ended asking all kind of services and he helped me having the perfect stay here. Thanks a lot for that, and just go there and have a chat ;)

The team at Tourismo Chile tours were amazing. We had an absolutely wonderful few days learning about the atacama desert and Chile‘a history whilst getting to experience the incredible sights it had to offer. The guides we had were amazing, with excellent English, who were engaging and made the experience even better. Shout out especially to Anita who we had for a few trips and absolutely loved, her energy was infectious! We will definitely be recommending this tour and the Tourismo Chile tour group to everyone we meet !

I had an outstanding experience with @TurismoChileTours. The schedule was always met, the driver was careful and knew all the roads and drove consciously and the tour guide was outstanding. The food provided as part of the tours was delicious and fresh (they even brew fresh coffee at 3600 meters). Kudos to Pablo Romero (guide), as he was patient and extremely knowledgeable. He made our experiences unforgettable. Worth to mention the astronomic tour, as it was out of this world. Kudos for the dedication, clarity, and knowledge from Rodrigo. Fantastic experience with a multilingual group (my family—all native English speakers with some Spanish) and my son’s girlfriend’s family (Spanish speakers with some English). Our tours were amazing with our guide whiting seamlessly between English and Spanish. We toured numerous sites, from salt mines to geothermal geysers to hot springs, caves and nature trails. The food they cooked and served in various places in was always beautifully presented and delicious. Our driver navigated roads that looked impossible to pass in daylight and darkness like a pro-never making us feel nervous or at risk. A fantastic experience!

I was working a couple days while I was in Atacama and it was so helpful to have Rodrigo update my activities according to when I was free when things changed with work. Great service!!! Although the tour operator with which I’ve unfortunately booked for my trip in Chile (Receptivo Aborigen Tours) has caused me nightmares, the local operator to which they’ve subcontracted the services for the part in Atacama Desert (Turismo Chile Tours) is excellent. Because of the extremely bad experience of not being provided basic information by Receptivo Aborigen Tours (eg pick up time, what attractions were covered in the tour they’ve booked) despite repeated requests, for the part of the trip in Atacama Desert, luckily I just came into direct contact with Turismo Chile Tours, which has been extremely responsive throughout, responded to my communications in English promptly, really delivered what they’ve promised (eg arrange transferring me back to my accommodation after the tours at no extra cost to me) and eased my worries caused by Receptivo Aborigen Tours. Despite the poor planning of Receptivo Aborigen Tours, which has left me with free time for at least 1 full day, 1 morning session and 1 afternoon session having nothing to do in an accommodation far away from the town centre of San Pedro de Atacama they’ve booked for me (instead of a hotel in the town centre in their price quote) and has not delivered the itinerary they gave when quoting the trip price to me, I had great time throughout the period when I was in Atacama Desert fully enjoying the super beautiful scenery there as I have directly arranged with Turismo Chile Tours for the change in my travel plan there. This local operator has even arranged me to join a tour before my payment. What a big contrast compared to the treatment received from Receptivo Aborigen Tours (after 1st payment, requiring immediate payment of the 2nd payment via a payment platform that has double inflation of the payment amount instead of paying the 2nd payment with the use of a card machine in Santiago after I arrived there a few days later in early Nov 2022 as agreed before I committed to use their service threatening that I will only be given 4 domestic air tickets (with no check in luggage service included) for the 1st payment amount of USD3,890 already paid if I did not make the 2nd payment immediately). Instead of causing worries as Receptivo Aborigen Tours has frequently done, Turismo Chile Tours has arranged services that have exceeded my expectation (eg for 2 tours lunch at a restaurant was included though not expected). Thank you very much to Turismo Chile Tours indeed.

One do the drivers was very aggressive, me and my friend entered on the wrong car in the pickup and he treated us in a very bad way. We just entered on the wrong car and he confronted us like he was going to hit me or something, even apologizing in the first moment, he kept confronting us. All of this in front of the hotel. Maybe he had a bad day, but it’s important to register it. The tour was Geisers Tatio, 26th November 2022.

Excellent, very professional agency. We had booked 6 tours plus the transfer from Calama to San Pedro. Everything was perfect and they were very punctual. Due to the Adverse weather, we were unable to do three of the six excursions, and they refunded us without any problems. I highly recommend it!

Very good service! The perfect Nat guide! Speaks Portuguese, so the experience was perfect, great explanations and photos. Very attentive. Driver Edgard was excellent. She took several pictures! And very attentive to everyone, they had 2 children one didn't feel well and she asked how she was and another fear of height and Nat gave her hand! We had a delicious snack at the end. On every tour the guides and drivers were amazing: Natalia and Edgardo in the Moon Valley, Erik and Rene on the Salares Route, Juan to take us to the Thermas of Puritama, Felipe and Rene to Rojas and Javier and Cai to the geysers. Very good! I recommend

The tour to the Geisers of El Tatio was very attractive and very well organized. The guide very friendly and explained in detail the places visited. You have to be properly warm, as you face a temperature of -7 degrees.

Our experience with the agency Chile Tour in Atacama was excellent. They are punctual and super organized. A special thanks to the guides Naghel, Kati and Nat and the drivers Branco and Eric who were exceptional with us. Super recommend for all tours in San Pedro do Atacama. The tour in Uyuni is done with an apparently outsourced company, and we felt that the information about accommodation, structure and schedules were not so clear. Despite this, we had several positive points: we did not have any kind of downtime, bathing with hot water almost every day.
