Overall, this was an excellent tour, and I’d recommend it, with a few things to know before you go. I’m generally a fan of private tours, and the multiple hotel pickups around town were a little annoying. However, this is one excursion where I don’t think the additional cost of a private tour would have been worthwhile. We really just needed transportation between the sites. Laguna Cejar: We felt a little rushed here, although my understanding is that the time restrictions are imposed by the park rather than the tour company. The water was absolutely freezing in October! I almost didn’t get in, but I couldn’t bring myself to pass up what felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I’m extremely sensitive to cold water, so while I’m glad I did it, I can’t honestly say I enjoyed the swim. Someone less sensitive to the cold might feel completely differently. And the salt is no joke. There are showers available afterward, but they’re communal and the water is also very cold. There are private changing rooms. My recommendation is to wear your swimsuit under your clothes so you only need to change once, after swimming. Bring flip-flops for walking to and from the water. Our guide provided towels and bags for carrying our belongings, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch. Ojos del Salar: Honestly, this stop was completely forgettable. So much so that I didn’t even remember we’d visited until I looked up the itinerary afterward. It’s essentially two sinkholes, and I didn’t find them particularly scenic or interesting. We didn’t even bother taking photos. Laguna Tebenquinche: This was a beautiful stop, especially because of the potential for mirror-like reflections on the water. Unfortunately, it was very windy during our visit, but whenever the wind briefly died down, we caught glimpses of those gorgeous reflections. I imagine it would be spectacular on a perfectly still day. You’ll want sneakers or hiking shoes for walking here rather than flip-flops. This was also where our guide set up a lovely picnic with snacks and Pisco sours, which was a wonderful way to enjoy the scenery. We saw only a handful of flamingos during our excursion, and they were too far away to appreciate. I’m not sure whether that’s typical of the location or just the time of year. We saw thousands of flamingos in Bolivia over the following days, so if flamingos are a priority, I’d recommend finding a tour specifically focused on seeing them rather than counting on this excursion. Overall, this was a worthwhile experience and a good choice for a group tour. Just be prepared for cold water, bring the right footwear for each stop, and keep your fingers crossed for calm winds at Laguna Tebenquinche!

Pre-tour communication was excellent. Guide ensured to keep us, the two English speakers in the group informed with personal attention. Guide was helpful with suggestions, cautions and information. Destination is beautiful and floating in the lagoon is an amazing experience. The snacks at the end was varied and very enjoyable.

Francisco was a very passionate, organised and informative guide, and was so charming with the official gatekeepers at the various sites visited that we were able to get very good positions and access to the sites we visited. He also has an entertaining manner with a conscience for sustaining the environment and informing us of other suitable places to visit and eat whilst we were on tour whilst grounding many of the interesting information from a knowledge of history, science and various cultures that have influenced the places and environment that we were visiting. He was also my tour guide for the Rainbow Valley tour that I did with the same company and showed the same passion, skills and knowledge on this tour also. Pukarumi was particularly good for this lagoon tour as they had robes and bags for all tour participants , which was useful for making the most of our time at the amazing swimming lagoon and I have found their drivers are also safe and well experienced
First of all, this review also encompases the Geyser del Tatio tour, which we did with the same company and tour guide. Francisco, our tour guide, is such an amazing person. He made the tours very special to us. His knowledge about the culture, landscape, science and much more transformed the tours in an unforgettable experience! Really, he trully speaks from his hearth, and you can feel it, and that's why the tours were so good, special and amazing for us. We also wants to thank Aldo and Bryan, our tour drivers, which did an amazing job too! And, of course, we also would like to thank our tour assistent in Geyser de Tatio, Daniel, which made his best throughout all the journey. Thank you guys for everything! Regards from Brazil.
It was a wonderful tour operator, for that I give it full marks, however as an experience it would have been great 45-60 mins floating, even longer. It may well be the parks do not give permission but the most enjoyable aspect for us was the floating.
Well organized, good communication before and during the trip. They are professionals. Useful information. Laguna Cejar was the top.
It is 4th January 2026, I enjoyed a unforgettable to Cejar Lagoon tour, Tour guide is Mr.Jonathan, he is so professional, lovely & thoughtful
Amazing !! The Laguna Cejar is a must see! We spent a really good time. The view is beautiful and the tour is well organized. The Atacama Salt Flat is also wonderful. The cocktail was a really great moment of the tour !
Nicolasi our guide was friendly and jovial, including everyone in the group which helped elevate the experience and bond the group. The lagoon to swim in or rather float like an otter was wonderful. The lake was beautiful and the snacks the guide and driver provided was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. I highly recommend!!
We went to the Laguna Ceja tour with Anita and it was amazing! Anita was the funniest, most charismatic and energetic guide. She had to lead the group in both Spanish and English but did it flawlessly :) The short hike, floating in the salt lake and yummy picnic was just perfect! Will highly recommend this tour.
We had a great day at the lagoon! Our guide Anita is knowledgeable, humourous and speaks excellent English. A highly recommended tour and guide!
I went to Laguna Cejar. It was a great day and floating in the salt lagoon was a highlight. Our guide Nicolos was so much fun. Food was great too. You won't be dissapointed.
Excellent company!!! all the tours were very good with qualified drivers and very knowledgeable, entertaining guides who were willing to answer our questions, highly recommended!!!
One of the most incredible tours, great attention and kindness from the guide. I completely recommend it
Simply perfect! Nice, funny, polite, and knew a lot about the place we were in, it was very enriching!
Everything went well, the tour was great. The guide was wonderful, took beautiful photos, and the new van. Besides the afternoon coffee they offered, there was a delight. I recommend.
Excellent experience, they explain everything super well and are very friendly.
All the tours we took with Pukarumi were excellent. I would like to give a compliment to the guide Brandon who accompanied us on two tours: Laguna Cejar and Salt Flats Route. Bradon was an excellent guide, very intelligent with a lot of knowledge transmitted, in addition to being charismatic with everyone. Grade 10!
Only words of gratitude for Soraya and Clodo, who were excellent guides and gave us an unforgettable experience. Thank you for so much wisdom and dedication to our country 🇨🇱
Incredible experience with Pukarami, especially with Soraya and Clodo, very friendly, helpful, and attentive.
The tour was perfect in every way, the tour guide Soraya was super lively, took many photos and videos, and was very attentive, I loved it so much!
Soraya the guide was incredible, impeccable, the driver Clodo incredible, super happy with the experience
We really liked the tour. Beautiful places! Very well organized! Our guide Caio was very attentive! Including the preparation of the snack! All great!

Day to contemplate natural beauties and dive into the super cold water of the lagoon.
A very beautiful walk, it's worth it! The agency is very punctual, has the best snacks, and the best guides, Isi and the driver were exceptional.
Unforgettable experience in Atacama! 🏜️✨ Our special thanks to the agency for all the organization and care during the trip, and to our guide Brandon, who accompanied us at all times with great attention, friendliness, and professionalism. Made every outing even more special! No doubt, we recommend! ❤️🇨🇱
Excellent tour with an excellent guide and some flamingo sightings. Snack included.
We took the afternoon tour to Laguna Cejar, Ojos del Salar, and Laguna Tebinquinche, and it completely exceeded our expectations from the very first minute. We want to especially highlight the attention of the entire team: - Gerónimo in the office: Our excellent experience began with the booking at the agency on Caracoles Street, where Gerónimo assisted us with impeccable kindness and willingness to help. - Francisca (Guide): We highlight her tremendous knowledge, clarity, and warmth in explaining the history and geology of each place to us. - David (Driver): Impeccable and very safe driving. He was always attentive with great logistical support and very valuable additional information during the trip. As a finishing touch, at the end of the walk at Laguna Tebinquinche, David was waiting for us with a delicious snack featuring local products and a spectacular pisco sour to enjoy the sunset. Top-tier organization and extraordinary human service. 100% highly recommended!
We love it. The experience was top, the level of information of our guide Isadora was sensational, she and very fun and sympathetic, our driver David super animated, he prepared our sensational coffee, besides being a driver I believe he is a chef, the best eggs of San Pedro de Atacama, do not miss this double Isis and David are the best.
I made several tours and transfer back and forth from the airport with the pukarumi and the experience was amazing. The transfer to the airport is outsourced with another company, as well as the Sandboard and the Ancestral Caravan and Cerro Tocoo ride. Very friendly guides and sought after, excellent snacks and coffee. Very good support by whatsapp and during the tours with guides and drivers, vehicles in excellent conditions and very easy payment for Brazilians (pix, wize, credit). I highly recommend. I traveled alone and had no problems with the company.
Good tour, good company and above all Isidora the best guide, always worried about everyone, explaining in detail, taking photos of us, always cheerful, in short, the tour was good thanks to our guide. Pukarumi 100% recommended
Anita was our guide. Wonderful person. Careful, friendly. Super polite and fun.
Nice experience to float without much effort (in the Piedra lagoon)... you can bathe for 20 min... although it seems like a short time, the truth is that you don't last that long in the water since it is very cold...
Today we went to Cejar with Geraldo and Soraya, they were great. Geraldo in addition to great driver prepared us a super breakfast 😍 Special thanks to Soraya who was spectacular throughout the tour!! She's very attentive. Surely it was the guide that presented the clearest, most comprehensive and interesting explanations regarding everything we did at Atacama. Besides taking great photos, having a very good energy and taking very good care of everyone. They made this tour the best of all.
Excellent experience, we took 3 tours with 3 different guides and they were all very kind, clear in their explanations, and very knowledgeable. The agency is totally recommended and they provide every convenience
The agency exceeded expectations. From the budget, schedule, payment conditions and especially the organization, logistics and the quality of the tours. The tour of Laguna Cejar was conducted by the guide João, was very friendly, requested and demonstrated a lot of knowledge in passing the information. At the end we still had a snack prepared with all the care and with toast from Pisco sour
Fantastic trip!!!! John was our guide! Fantastic he! Super recommend the agency. Super professional
My first experience with the company was Laguna Cejar. Incredible place and too lively tour with the guide Felipe. Including, dare to make your walks with him! Bamo irmaooo
The walk was very fun! The guide, Isi, deserves special attention. Extremely attentive. During the whole tour he asked to tell us about all the facts of the tourist spot that we were visiting and became available to take photos. A cute I leave registered here also that we should have had access to roupões to get out of the lagoon, however, we did not receive. In the rest the walk was very good!
We did the tour with the guide Andrés and the driver David, both a 7, very professional. A cocktail was also delicious. The guide didn't take all some spectacular photos, thank you!
Céjar lagoon tour, with the best! Isi and duck our guides were amazing, a great willingness and dedication for their passengers! I recommend the details of this agency, we were given a bag with dressing gowns to change and the cocktail from another level!
Excellent. Differential for guides
My husband and I loved the walk. It was worth it!!! Besides Isis and Brian being unique! Joyful and fun making everyone feel very well, as a family! Thank you
Very good tour, agency provided a magical moment for us. All very well planned. The guide Isis was very nice with us, besides the driver. The place is well.legal but the logic is quite cold, kkkk It is worth seeing.
I made 4 tours with Pukarumi: Valle de La Luna, cejar laguna, ancestral Atacama and alpine lagoons. I recommend 100%: great cars, super cool guides, punctual, good snacks and lunch. I had a very good experience with them
