Excellent, they are very responsive since day 1 and everything has been visited as planned, no issues at all. Will definitely recommend to anyone else.

Itinerary
Day 1
1
15:30 to 20:30: Tour to Valle de la Luna. We will start the tour departing from the center of San Pedro de Atacama towards the Cordillera de la Sal in the Atacama Desert, the driest place on earth, in the direction of one of its most picturesque points: the Moon Valley. The names already give a clear clue to the landscape, where rock formations modeled by erosion, salt mantles and views that will make you feel like on another planet reign. We will cross the valley transversely, visiting its famous rock formations: the Three Marias, the Canyon, the Amphitheater and the Coyote Stone. To finish the tour, we will enjoy the sunset from a natural viewpoint, where you can see how the desert changes color, with large volcanoes on the horizon, offering a show that will leave you speechless.
Day 2
2
We will visit a series of lagoons inside the Salar de Atacama, the largest salt flat in Chile. We will first visit the Ojos del Salar, two deep wells of fresh water in the middle of the desert, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim. Then we will visit the Tebinquinche Lagoon, where we will walk along its path to appreciate the magnificent views, where the sky merges with the desert and the whiteness of the salt. The tour continues in the famous Laguna Cejar and Laguna Piedra, surrounded by green and yellow grass that highlights the color of the water, contemplating a unique landscape of turquoise waters and volcanoes. In the latter we can enjoy a bath with which we will experience the floating effect, similar to that of the Dead Sea. To end the day, we will enjoy an appetizer watching the sunset with a view of these lagoons. Bathing is only allowed in Laguna Piedra and Ojos del Salar. Bathing is not allowed in Laguna Cejar or Laguna Tebinquinche.
Day 3
3
On the tour to the Tatio Geysers we will leave at dawn from San Pedro de Atacama towards the Altiplano, climbing the hills and mountains of the Andes Mountains. After 1 hour and a half of travel, we will arrive at the Geysers, a unique natural spectacle in the world, with 80 smoking geysers at 4200 m altitude. Next to this natural setting, we will enjoy a breakfast replenishment, and then tour the geothermal field, surrounded by numerous steam columns. Also, it is possible to visit the rustic well that is within the same field.
We will pick you up at your hotel to go to the place where we will make this Astronomical Tour under one of the best skies in the world for the practice of astronomy. The day will be divided into three stages. One corresponds to the conversation in which we will learn basic concepts of astronomy. In another stage, we will look at the sky with the naked eye to learn to identify the cardinal points and some zodiacal constellations, as well as information about the Andean worldview. The last stage includes observation through telescopes and binoculars in the open field, so that we can identify the objects that are visible at the time we carry out the activity. These include planets, binary stars, globular and open clusters, and others. In addition, we will take astrophotography before returning to San Pedro de Atacama.

Do not book this. Operator cancelled a tour and is refusing to refund appropriate costs. The stargazing tour was rescheduled and then cancelled after we arrived at the tour location. I was offered a refund of £19.99 per person despite the actual cost being £37.38 per person.
Do NOT book this tour. Not only it is twice the price of what you get in San Pedro, the agency has zero responsibility. Out of 4 tours, 2 didn't go well due to the guides and lack of professionalism, 1 was fine, and 1 didn't happen. Then again I had to spend time and insist on refund, and was compensated with a mere 10% of the price. Shame!
It was a beautiful experience, we loved Valle De La Luna, Geysers del Tatio, and floating in Laguna del Cejar. Each tour had its own magic. Our guides and drivers were really nice and friendly. We enjoyed that in each tour we had breakfast or snacks, a combination of native cuisine, fruits, and sweets. We couldn't do the Astronomic Tour due to weather conditions.
The tours were excellent. We liked the combined tours spread out over the 3 days. The tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly. The only downside was us having to miss the astronomy tour because of a cloudy weekend. The company was very communicative throughout and kept rescheduling this part of the tour each day in hopes the weather would get better.
The first trip Valle de la Lune was good, very easy walking and great food and drinks at the end. The second trip was the lagoon which was OK Again the good and drinks were good at the end. The same night we went on the stargazing trip and arrived back at 0030hr. The trip was OK. We had only 3.5 hours sleep before we had to be up for the final trip to the geysers. The timings were very badly planned and did not make for an enjoyable trip and even negatively impacted on our next day. I would not recommend this tour unless you pick all the detail out, particularly the timings.
All tour guides were very informative and helpful.. who spoke clearly and accomodated to all bilingual passengers. Lolo and Andre our driver were very friendly. The lunch was very tasty and traditional.
This was a great, all in one way to coordinate the various tours and sights to see in and around San Pedro de Atacama. They were really professional and prompt in setting up the tours, which, in turn, were well coordinated and fun. They even helped me arrange an airport transfer. When you get your schedule, definitely take a look around the town to see if there are other tours you would want to see; most of the tours end in time for you to take more than 1 per day. One note, I do wish there was a bit more hiking around in Valle de Luna; it seemed like we were doing more riding around in the van to go to photo spots.
Franco was my tour guide in several excursions that spoke English and he was amazing and never felt left out since the Lagoon tour, I was the only English speaker. Maria was so informative & patient on our geyser tour. I enjoyed all the activities. Thanks
The trips were well organized and the nature was absolutely beautiful. I’m usually not someone who likes big groups or crowds and so for me personally it wasn’t the ideal way to see the area as there was very little space for independent exploration. We stuck together the whole time and mostly just took pictures of the nature instead of getting to experience it fully by just being there. But there were also always soooo many people in the locations that it would have been hard to find a calm place regardless of if you were doing it with a tour or not. That said, all of the guides were great and it was a great trip :)
I give this review a 4.8 out of 5 but I don't have that option. They were always on time or close to time, given the schedule I had it worked out perfect. Valley of the Moon and star gazing day 1, Laguna 2nd day and tatio 3rd day. The guides were absolutely knowledgeable in both English and Portuñol. The places were all stunning and the tour includes all the go to locations for San Pedro de Atacama BUT you didn't have to worry about that, since it was all booked in one place. They maintained perfect communication by letting us know when they would pick us up and what order they would do so in. They would create WhatsApp groups sharing their live location which is great you would step out of the hotel right before they arrived. I absolutely loved it and would recommend all of that. The only thing I would change is the cost of the entrances to the sites I would include it in the cost of the tour itself or would be more clear how much it would be per entrance in the description. 6+21+15+20 dollars something like that. Everything else was absolutely perfect.
We recently did a 3-day tour package in San Pedro de Atacama that included four incredible experiences, and we couldn’t recommend it more. Our first tour was to the Valley of the Moon, and it was absolutely breathtaking. The landscapes were otherworldly, and our guide Cata was fantastic — super informative and engaging. The picnic at sunset was a real highlight, with stunning views and a great atmosphere. Next, we visited the salt lakes with Cristian, who was friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. Floating in the salt water was a surreal experience, and Cristian made the tour both educational and fun. The third tour took us to the geysers at sunrise with Francisco as our guide. He was not only informative and friendly but also brought humor to the chilly early morning start, making it all the more enjoyable. Our final experience was the stargazing tour, which was truly mind-blowing. Though I can’t remember the name of our guide, he was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about astronomy. He explained the cosmos in a way that was both detailed and easy to understand — a magical way to end our time in the desert. Communication for all tours — from pick-ups to booking — was smooth and efficient. All of our guides spoke excellent English, which made the experience even more seamless. Overall, this tour package exceeded all expectations. Each guide brought their own unique energy and expertise, and we left San Pedro feeling amazed and enriched. Highly recommend!
We were small group of six and was given a driver/guide for Moon Valley, Rainbow Valley and Tatio geysers, Rodoflo was thoughtful and always got ahead of others so we had the scenery all by ourselves, he also cooked great breakfasts and prepared good snacks. The Astronomy guide was knowledgeable and made sure we were able to see the stars through the telescope. We also had 2 day tours in Valparaíso and Santiago, equally good guides and arrangements. Thank you Fernando for the arrangements and definitely recommend his services.
These 4 tours were an excellent way to get an overview of some fabulous sites around the Atacama Desert. Our guide to Valle de la Luna and Cejar Lagoon was Giulia. She was excellent at explaining the surrounding landscapes in both Spanish and Italian. Her manner was welcoming and she was most informative. Our guide to the Geysers of Tateo was Nicole. She was passionate about the special places of the high Andes and was brilliant at describing everything. The only issue with these tours is everybody is doing them and you are just another white bus and at some locations it seems like everyone is there which deflates the experience. Nicole did take us to the white Geyser and this was a personal and much appreciated experience. There also seems to be this thing about providing cocktail and snacks or breakfast on a little table by the bus. All the buses do it and I wonder why? Sometimes it is unnecessary and you actually would shorten the excursion time if this wasn’t included and that would be preferable especially on the Geyser day when we had to get the bus at 4am! The other issue I had was being collected from our hotel and then dumped in town at the conclusion of the excursion . This is probably fine if your hotel is in St Pedro but a bit of a rude awakening if you have a 20 minute night walk in darkness back to your hotel because you assumed you’d be taken home. So some tweaking about what is important to people taking the tours would be helpful
**This is not a review of the activities but the unprofessional service received** I booked the package starting December 24th and the itinerary clearly states Day 1 is at 15:30 (3:30 pm), only to be told that Valle de la Luna is closed that day. Instead of offering an alternative, they cancelled my booking while I was chatting with someone on their business WhatsApp. They also had a huge problem offering this in English because I called the tour operator about an airport transfer and the person I spoke with seemed to say "this is Chile so we speak Spanish". No arguments there, but you run a tour company aimed at internationals so it seemed probable you should have some basic English.
All of our tours were really good and worth doing. We had a limited number of days in San Pedro and this made it a lot easier to decide what to do with our time. The drivers and guides for each were all very communicative, accommodating, and helpful. The tours are set-up for more photo taking opportunities than physical activity - we missed hiking/walking around the areas and were constantly in and out of the van. No complaints there but if you're planning, just to be aware, as we would've enjoyed more time in each location to walk and explore vs. take and wait for others to take photos.
Perfection! This is an accurate word to describe our experience in San Pedro de Atacama. All our tours were incredibly well organized and scheduled and no detail were left unattended. I planned this trip for a long time due to COVID restrictions but I’m so glad I chose such a fabulous tour company. I can’t wait to return and, without a doubt, plan with Guias Tours once again. Thanks so much Kata and Fernando! LUV!!
Overall, we had a mixed experience. Firstly, we had great trips seeing the lagoon and swimming in it and visiting the geysers. In the latter trip, our guide was absolutely great being a scientifically educated enthusiast for all types of questions around geyser biology and geology. The tours were mostly on time and the guides made sure we had a good experience. Unfortunately, our trip to see the night sky could not take place on the set date which is why it was moved to the last night. Originally, our tours for the last day were scheduled to be finished by afternoon. Therefore, we had planned to go back to Calama in the afternoon. We had a hotel booked there and a flight scheduled early the next morning. Raising this issue to our dedicated tour contact, we received little support. Given that we did not have good internet, only mobile devices and little proficiency in Spanish, we struggled for hours to rearrange our travel plan. We ended up going to Calama by a private taxi which costs us ca. USD 100 instead of taking the much more affordable bus. Since we couldn’t cancel the hotel in Calama anymore, we paid a full stay while only spending 3-4 hours of sleeping time there. Overall, we understand that you cannot plan nature / the night sky. Nonetheless, we book a tour online (and pay a premium to the provider) so that we do not lose time planning while being on holiday. We had the feeling that our tour contact was annoyed by us needing to re-plan and by us asking for help. We lost time, lost a proper night of sleep and had extra costs which all did not seem to interest the provider at all. Therefore, we cannot recommend taking the tour.
Excellent tours with very good level of organisation. Good communication with organiser in case of weather delays etc. would recommend if travelling with short amount of time in San Pedro
The 4 tours on this trip are booked with different tour operators by one booking agency when you buy this package. Our tours were PHENOMENAL, they exceeded our expectations and we enjoyed all of them. However, for our first tour, the operator came 30min early without any warning from the booking agency and left without us. When we called the agency, they moved us to another day, but they proceeded to tell me that it was our fault that we weren’t ready and they did not take responsibility or apologize for giving us the wrong scheduled time for the tour pickup. This was incredibly frustrating. For another one of our tours, the agency booked us on a tour with a tour guide that did not speak English (we indicated that we needed tours in English upon purchasing this package). I would not recommend booking with this agency, but rather directly with the tour companies when you arrive to Atacama for a better experience.
Well organised tour overall. The agency was super responsive and provided the full itinerary details and answered any questions. The tour guides were knowledgeable and helpful and made the tour enjoyable and informative. A small picnic was provided at each of the excursions was a really nice touch.
This was a great experience. Our guide Miguel especially was great. Knowledgeable, friendly and showed us some great sights. Fully fluent English speaking and gay friendly.
Terrific service and a wonderful experience - guides knew all the best spots to go, gave you ample time to explore and take great photos and the inclusive food was just right
I highly recommend. Attentive, great guides, I was attended to for everything I needed. It is very worth booking with this agency.
The four activities were okay to good. Because I did the Uyuni tour at the beginning, this lagoon tour with salt bathing was no longer super special. During the astro tour, too little English was spoken and there were long wait times for taking photos, although the photos were great!!! Geyser tour was very nice and very early in the morning……… the Moon Valley was good, but for me now rather overrated. I booked "Puritama" separately, that was sooooo great!!! Instead of the lagoons, please include this program. Overall well organized and we were always picked up at the hotel, which worked out great. Thanks again for everything.
Moonscapes, beautiful colors, saltwater lagoons, salt covered lagoons, geysers, free-ranging animals, no plants and the mountains of the Andes Mountains that surround this desert. The chance we had; a cultivated guide who juggled geology, history, geography, history of ancient civilizations! And a great plus: a fabulous hotel in San Pedro: the Desertica. The single rooms are a hard copy of the original huts, the kitchen is top and the service exceptional, all at a competitive price! A great stay!
Comfortable clothes and shoes. High cost feeding Hydration Sun protection Cold and warm clothes
The landscapes are amazing and the scenery beautiful! If it’s in winter, wear clothes suitable for negative temperatures and snow. Tours take in the hostel/hotel and leave you in the centre of San Pedro de Atacama. I recommend accommodations near Caracoles street.
The tours and guides (Lolo and Francisco) were great. The guides gave a lot of scientific, historical and cultural context to the locations, which enriched the experience. The geysers were what impressed me most, a beautiful landscape and a very different phenomenon of nature. And seeing the stars in the desert, along with all the context and explanation of the guide, was a lesson for me. This walk impressed me, I did not expect so much from him.
The four excursions in 3 days were super well organized. And we enjoyed the beautiful nature. And yes, also great guides every time.
Immense desert and always engaging activities. Chile and especially San Pedro with all its excursions was an incredible discovery. Indescribable geological and landscape variety. Recommended for all
I have no words to describe such an emotion, it is certainly an experience to live!!! Experiência maravilhosa , plena n They are good friends, perfect accolade, sorrisos sinceros!!! Parabens guiatours!!!
Incredible experience, a surreal and beautiful place! Tour Guides were fundamental to the success of this trip, always very helpful and interested in our desires and also surprising us with places little explored by traditional tourism. I got to know some wine regions in Chile also through this agency as Maipo Valley, Colchagua, Curicó and Cachapoal. I recommend Guias Tours with my eyes closed and I'm thinking about returning to Chile soon to discover Patagonia with them as guides.
Incompetent, dishonest and unpleasant agency! It all started with a routine police check on the excursion. The driver was not Chilean and was working illegally. He was not allowed to transport tourists. Luckily, the gendarme was kind and allowed us to leave anyway so as not to leave us in the middle of nature without driver. A story that is not invented!! But when we complained to Guiastours everything changed: the agency called us liars and started threatening us. Then insulted our hotelier that we had called to the rescue to explain better in Spanish. In the end the rest of the excursions were cancelled with the promise of a refund. A month later, nothing despite alleged justification. In short, it is a dishonest agency that subcontracts with local operators but cannot admit its faults. Bad Faith, Dishonesty and Totally Zero Customer Service. ABSOLUTELY AVOIDABLE
We have lived there for unforgettable experiences and have seen close-up landscapes so unique that I am sure we will never see anything similar in our lives. In short, we are back in love with Atacama. Thank you Guiastours Chile, it was all perfect! We recommend 10000% ❤️
Saint Peter a Charm of place, its village and its architecture already welcome you to enter the most beautiful desert in the world, and it is true it is a religious experience.... How magical .the agency is a 10 out of 10 since we booked were watching everything. Thanks to the Guiastours team.
An unforgettable experience, each place was more beautiful than the other, the small town, just to measure, full variety of food. The tour agency very good except the astronomical tour that we joined with other groups and we did not like, very long, very cold, many people, very heavy driver. The rest all excellent.
Very good destination, many places to visit and visit. Wonders of nature. Highly recommended. Bring warm clothes and light clothing. Treking shoes. Watch out for altitude sickness.
Great experience. The place is beautiful and has many attractions to visit, good hotels and friendly and entertaining people. We hired the rides in Andes travel and it was a very successful decision, prepared guides and very attentive drivers, especially Duncan and Juan Carlos. One day despite having hired a shared ride there were no more passengers and we made the tour the same in a personalized way! The overpriced food, very expensive and nothing new, disappointed us with the llama meat in St. Louis. Peter, and no wonder the hygiene of the central places. The exception was the Andean emporium, despite having a small place is second to none in terms of care and friendliness of garzones and ATMs, plus reasonable prices
Hermosa experiencia! Muy organizado y grato ambiente. Lo recomiendo y volvería otra vez a San Pedro!
We enjoy every tour and all wonderful, a unique experience in the desert. Great work team, very dedicated and full of attention. We loved it. Thanks for everything.
I visited this beautiful place in January 2020, accompanied by GuiasTours. Wonderful service, very professional and kind. Thank you very much for your work. Super indico.
It was wonderful days, amazing tours, with breakfast for two times and a cocktail in a beautiful place! Careful and professional guides Cosy hostel, very helpful host. Guiastours definitely deserves 5 stars.
