What a beautiful and amazing hotel. I fully recommend it. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the restaurant is really not as good as it could be. My recommendation is to go to other amazing restaurants in SMA until Live Aqua improves the food. I do want to be clear that the service was great. I will be back to the hotel for sure.
Was here July 2026 for business. The good: Nice facilities, seems recently built. Friendly staff. Good food. Normal beds. The bad: a) room 4106 AC didn't work ensuite climate controls did nothing. I live in a mountain @ 10k ft, must have cool to sleep, had to wait till 3:30 am for the room to finally cool down enough to get some sleep. Windows closed in case AC wanted to work, it didn't. (Wall with a lot of thermal mass) b) To add insult to injutmry jack hammer construction work next door was my alarm clock. c) pool is sorounded by hillside with houses looking down on guest so, what privacy?
Overall, the experience is great. However, for the price, I would expect an all-inclusive experience OR at least breakfast included. Our last day by the pool, they took over 1 hour to give us our food and didn't compensate in anyway (could have given us free drinks or dessert). They kept telling us "it'll be ready in 10 minutes", meanwhile they never put our order in. Check-in is easy. Good attention to detail on the rooms. Feels very lux.
My wife and I stayed 3 nights in the sundeck suite. Check in was smooth other than the room wasn’t ready by 3.00. It was easy to find a spot to grab a snack. The room was clean and very nice. We loved how there were cabanas right outside our patio overlooking the pool and hills. The service was excellent and friendly the entire stay. Daily room cleaning and turndown service was on point. The gym was clean and had plenty of equipment to get a decent workout. The walk to the main part of town was about 10 to 12 min depending on where we were going. We like walking around and enjoying the scenery, so not an issue for us. Overall this is a very nice property and I would put it on the same level with a Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons. We didn’t have a single negative experience during our stay and I would absolutely book a room at this resort again.
The entire hotel compound is huge and very beautiful. Hosting weddings and events seems a major business for this hotel. This is very unfortunate for the guests who want peace and rest at night like us. During our four-night stay, there was a wedding party on the 1st night and another event on the fourth. The wedding party was right underneath our window and lasted till 1 am. It was too loud to rest let alone sleeping so we had to move to a different room late at night. The room was quiet, but dark, cold and with horrible faucets which splashing water all over us, one of the faucets didn't have hot water. It was worse than our room but we didn't have a choice since we wanted to rest and sleep. We were able to move back to our original room on the 2nd day and had enjoyed two peaceful nights in our comfortable room without any party noise. There was another party on 4th night and its loudspeaker didn't end until 11:30pm，then the cleanup noise continued well after midnight. The noise of the event speaker started again the next morning around 7am. After spending 500+ USD per night, we are very unhappy with the whole experience.
