By all accounts San Miguel de Allende is a magical town. For us, the highlight of our spring holiday there was Casa Lani, the superb B&B we stayed in for 12 nights in the heart of Centro Historico. The building is centered around a spacious, beautifully landscaped courtyard complete with its own flowering Jacaranda tree and large, elegant fountain. This tranquil space was where we enjoyed sumptuous breakfasts and delightful conversation with our warm and gracious hosts, Carlos and Aida. Our upstairs room overlooking the courtyard was bright, well-kept and opened out onto a furnished terrace with views of the famous Parrochia and surrounding hillsides. The friendly and attentive Casa Lani staff, Liz, Aira and Josefina, also deserve special mention!

Our week at Casa Lani was incredible. What a beautiful place! Great room with luxurious amenities, fabulous breakfast every morning in the beautiful courtyard, and a great location (5 minute walk to Parroquia). The best part however was the interaction with the owners. Carlos and Aida were amazing! So attentive and helpful.

Casa Lani was incredible! Everything was so clean and beautiful. The hosts are lovely, they changed the location of our room at the last minute to accommodate my mother. Every morning the breakfast was abundant! We loved being able to walk everywhere so easily. Highly recommended!

The place is beautiful and cozy, with a central patio and a tree of jacarandas, if you’re lucky you’ll be able to admire its flowers in spring. The design and the objects that complement each corner are almost customized. It has a minimalist kitchen and a room to read or listen to music. Casa Laní gave me a pleasant stay for sure :).
