It is a good hotel but the rooms and the breakfast are not so good. The staff was amazing and friendly all the time. The toilets are in a “glass box” that you have zero privacy, just hidden by almost transparent curtains… I travelled with friends, so it was really uncomfortable to use the room facilities. The breakfast has not much options and the food served would be a 2/5. The location js really good.
I can not rate this highly enough. The owner is literally the nicest man you will EVER meet. He went above to solve a problem for us and i can not thank him enough. You will not be disappointed here, it is a beautiful area and the hotel has comfy beds and fantastic staff.
It was a small on the outside but spacious on the inside. Comfy bed, quiet neighbourhood, friendly & helpful staff. Good breakfast. Wonderful view from the top (5th floor). No pool or gym, but it did not matter to us. Wish we had to stay for more than 1 night. A few parking spaces across the entry.
Very unique and chic interiors. Never seen such a designer hotel, everything seemed different yet refreshing. Loved the new spin given to a hotel room. Located quite near the centre of San Marino. Convenient for all purposes
The hotel is located a bit down the hill from the old city. So it's a 15min steep uphill walk up to the old city of San Marino. But it was a quite interesting and nice walk. So didn't bother us too much. Free parking outside the hotel. The service and attention was very good indeed. Very personal and nice service. Seems to be family or private owned. The hotel has an interesting design. The thing that makes me choose to give it 4 starts is that some areas of the hotel needs some light renovation. The table by the entrance, where it is perfect to sit watching the sunrise in the morning, is chipped and the chairs partly damaged. The flower boxes also peeling with paint. The very fancy bathroom of the hotel room. Maybe a bit over-designed not handling age very well. Has parts and technical installations not working anymore (but nothing that isn't necessary to use). The doors to the wardrobe and closets in the room were very squeaky and was not properly fitting anymore. So needed to use a bit of force to open and close. The curtains were a bit damaged. The room had a spectacular view! The hotel has seen better days. Could need a bit of easy-to-do surface uplift in certain areas. But overall the price was very good. And I would stay again if going back to San Marino. The price was very good. And lot because of the very nice and personal welcome and service.
