The Monster: America's Longest Zipline, Puerto Rico

I have done zip lining in many countries and I just say that this has been the best so far!! In fact, I did the monster Zipline TWICE! I would have done it a third time but the park was closing. I felt very safe. Shout out to Alexis and Samuel!!

Got to our tour late but they still let us ride the zipline 10/10 experience. Went for the monster but it was closed already traffic is crazy during the mid day so missed it but still rode the beast. My glasses died so couldn’t take pics but still a fun experience

Zip lining experience was amazing, super fun we did the tour and the monster in a combo and felt like it was worth the trip. Deducting stars because we spent an hour and a half total at the restaurant waiting for fries and to pay, it was a long drive and we would have liked to spend that time elsewhere.

Great experience for the price. Juan and Coralis were the best guides! We stayed for 2-3 hours and had a awesome time. Thanks for the memories guys ❤️

My boys thoroughly enjoyed the monster, I’m writing the review because I paid for the zipline experience through TripAdvisor thinking that it was multiple zips based on the map you put online with the one I chose. When the boys got there it was one zip that lasted a minute for $59/ person. I felt that it should have been explained better and also that the all day pass should have been an option. My bf went ahead and bought more while they were up there so the experience cost us over $600 with no transportation there. When I called TripAdvisor they told me there was no transport but never told us that we could not order an uber back. I had to scramble and find a taxi that would be willing to get them after. This is the first time I’ve used TripAdvisor, I usually use viator for all my overseas travel.

Had the best time .. my tour guide for my hiking adventure in Vega Baja was the best ..Rafael was very good and informative 👍 and I conquered el Monstruo 👍

Loved the experience. .I would do it again. The weather wasn’t great, but that didn’t stop the services. Although surroundings were misty, the views were mesmerizing.

It was a unique experience with a wow factor not to be missed. The views the speeds it was all with it.

First stop after we disembarked our cruise ship to kick off a lovely 4 night stay in PR! The Monster is insanely fun. My wife and I are both afraid of heights, but nothing beats the feeling of travelling 90+ MPH over two river valleys in the Mountains. My whole body was numb when I reached the end of the Monster. Would definitely say this is a must when visiting PR!

Start with the Beast and end with the Monster so you finish on the highlight. Some sort of eye goggles (if you don’t have eyewear) will be beneficial since you will hit speeds that can make your eyes tear up

In the Monster zipline, I suffered an incident in which I hit my head with the line of the zipline. This caused a concussion and left me swollen for more than a week.

Now I know what Superman feels like when he’s flying. Staff is welcoming, friendly, and professional.

Once in a lifetime experience - did the Monster. Wish I had booked the Beast too! A must do attraction I Puerto Rico! Excellent!

This adventure started way before we finally got to the mountain top! The windy road to Toro Verde was awesome in itself! The actual adventure park is very well organized. Staff was everywhere. The equipment was top notch. You are weighed in on the spot. No exceptions. So if you're close to the weight limit, please don't bother. Beautiful views, great day was had. I had 2 family members that are actually afraid of heights and the made it thru the Monster zipline!!!

My boyfriend and I visited Toro Verde and loved it. He had never been on a zip line before but the instructors made the it very easy for us and we loved the monster! So cool that you can zip line from one town to another!

Fun! Exhilarating! Safe. Amazing. Easy check in, a little hard to get to (more inland), but understandably so. Clean and well presented facilities with plenty of parking.

Greatest experience ever!!Booking was quick and easy. Had to readjust the amount of guest and did it with no issues.

We enjoyed the awesome Zip Line experience at Toro Verde Zip Lines. Did the combination of the 7 Zip course and then the Monster. What a rush. Outfit is first class, lots of staff and everything was top notch. Safety was never a concern. It is a bit of a drive (we came from Old San Juan) but also allowed us to explore other places on our return trip. If you are going to Zip Line in Puerto Rico this is the PLACE!!!

This experience was amazing! So amazing that my 20 year old spent his own money to go again! I am scared of heights but did it.. the workers were very helpful and gave great descriptions on what to expect. As soon as you are face down, the rest is ridiculously smooth. I would say that it felt freeing. We only did the monster but would have done the beast if we had more time (rain). Would absolutely do again!

We recently were married in Puerto Rico and planned a weekend of activities along with the wedding. We selected El Toro Verde to bus our wedding guests to for a zipline adventure. We all enjoyed the day ziplining on the Monster and the Beast. Guests even with fears of heights took on the challenge and LOVED every minute of the zipline. We also spent time at the wonderful restaurant on the deck overlooking the adventure part and enjoyed great food and adult beverages. The entire staff at El Toro Verde were professional and courteous. We would recommend this adventure to everyone. Just wow, place is amazing. We did the 7 zipline course and the Monster.. Heart racing and exhilarating..Our guides Kenny and Jimenez were great.. They made us feel safe and it honestly felt like we had known them all our lives. Very professional and I can't put into words how good these guys were at their jobs. I would definitely recommend Toro Verde to anyone needing some excitement in their lives.. Again the guides were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful scenery no matter where on site… We rode the Monster and zip-lined. On next visit to PR will definitely visit Toro Verde again and ride the Beast.

The monster, was the most exhilarating thing I’ve done in a while, the zip lines have so much to see and the staff is so friendly and efficient. Everything was so nice and the food at the restaurant was delicious! Would do again!

I have a wonderful time at Toro Verde experiencing the Monster for the 1st time. It was exhilarating! My husband was coming with me but he ended up having a bad case of vertigo on the tower & couldn't continue. My sister ended up taking his place and she loved it also. I enjoyed hanging out at La Terraza de Toro when my sister ended up going her turn enjoying a guayaba mojito.

Views were amazing! Such beauty!! Even on the way there was gorgeous. The staff was great and super helpful! An experience of a lifetime!!! Highly recommend!!

The drive here was long up and around them curves but totally worth it cause the views are breathtaking pictures came out really good and the food at the restaurant is delicious!!! We started at noon and made a day of it and didn’t leave tell 5pm will definitely recommend

This was the Best. Fly like superman above the mountains and with the birds. We had an amazing time running the Monster and the Beast while at Toro Verde Adventure Park. The facilities were great. They were modern, clean and safe. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful when asked a multitude of questions. The rush of running down the zip line is hard to come close to. This is the #1 way to conquer your fear of heights. We will definitely go again on future visits.

We visited Toro Verde as a family and it was absolutely unforgettable! I did El Monstruo and the full 7-zipline course—what an incredible thrill! Everything was well organized, safe, and the staff were super friendly and professional. The views are breathtaking, the adrenaline is real, and the memories will last forever. This was truly one of the most beautiful and exciting experiences we've ever had. If you're visiting Puerto Rico, Toro Verde is a must!

We had an amazing time at Toro Verde Adventure Park in Orocovis! The zip lines were such a thrill and excitement - flying through the air with incredible mountains views would be unforgettable. The Monster zip line was fast, long and amazing thrill and views. All the staff were great and made everything even better. Highly recommend this park and activities for the whole family!

The ziplines and the Monster were wonderful! The food at the resturant was INCREDIBLE. We had a great experience!

Did the “Monster” and loved it. Was a little nervous before but it was amazingly smooth flying and memorable; not at all scary in the air. Would recommend doing one of their combo packages with the Beast or other attractions to make a day of it and save money (we didn’t have the time to do more than one zip line ourselves but wished we had!)

Viator Charged double the cost of actual price. not worth booking this ride through Viator. However, the ride is good

This was such an amazing time! Such a thrill. Amazing views when going down el monster. Makes you in awe of Gods creation for sure. The team was amazing, took care of us. Especially the Scardey cat of the group lol

Toro verde has activities for the whole family whether it be small or go big with the Monster! Everyone is very polite and helpful. And experience to remember.

My friend signed me up to do this while on vacation in PR. We chose the zipline + monster. We did the ziplines which takes around 2 hours. Each line gets progressively longer so you get to build up to the last one which is quite long. For the monster, don’t look down before it starts. It’s more scary thinking about it than doing it. I enjoyed the monster the most because you’re laying down and just get to enjoy the scenery (at 95 mph). The staff knew exactly what they were doing and they were very friendly.

The rides stirred our spirits, but none like the Monster—it soared, and so did we. After the thrill, a rugged truck carried us back through a jungle path, where nature whispered stories along the way. The journey from Ponce to Toro Verde unfolded like a painting, each turn a brushstroke of beauty. The entire trip felt like a dream we didn’t want to end.

Even though we paid full price, we didn’t get to go, because they never told us there was a closing time. We were waiting for the rest of the family to finish The Beast, and by the time we got to the Monster (4:35 pm), they told us it was closed. Had we known, we could have easily done them all. The staff didn’t offer refunds and were not friendly - awful customer service.

Toro Verde Adventure Park Review – 3 Stars The Monster and Beast zip lines were definitely fun and thrilling, but the overall experience was frustrating due to poor organization and long wait times. First, we waited nearly two hours just to get harnesses because they didn’t have enough equipment. Instead of having a proper system in place, we had to wait for others to return their harnesses before getting ours. Then, there was another two-hour wait just to ride the Monster, which only lasted about a minute. What made it worse was that only one person was operating one zip line, even though there were two available. Just before my turn, a second operator finally showed up—but where were they while we were all standing in line for hours? We arrived at 10:45 AM and didn’t ride the Monster until after 2 PM. By the time we finished everything we paid for, the entire day was gone. I had an evening tour planned back in San Juan, which I missed due to the excessive wait times, and unfortunately, I couldn’t get a refund for it. Another concern was the lack of a safety briefing. I found it odd that there was no real debriefing or explanation before getting on the zip lines. The ride back to the main area was a bumpy and unpleasant ride. On a positive note, the restaurant upstairs was great, and we received a food credit with our couples package. Overall, the zip lines themselves were awesome, but the disorganization, long waits, and poor logistics made the experience frustrating. If they can fix these issues, it would be a much better experience.

My family and I were excited to go to the Toro Verde! We had signed up for a combination of completing the monster and the zip lines. We arrived about 20 min before our reservation time of 11:00. Once we checked in we were off to get ready for the Monster. The only issue that we faced was that the line to get the equipment on for the zip line took about an hour. Once we got suited up it took another 2 1/2 hours to go on the zip line. There are 2 zip lines setup for the Monster but they were only utilizing 1 of them. When we were about 20 min from the top of the zip line they finally started using the 2nd zip line. The zip line was incredible but because the lines took so long we were not able to do the 2nd half of our combination. I understand that we were at a busy time because of spring break but I feel they had the ability to speed the line up by using both zip lines. Over all we had a good time. I just wish they were able to speed the lines up.
