To begin our amazing adventure our guide will pick you up at your preferred hotel, resort, residence or airbnb in San Juan, Isla Verde and Condado (Although hotels in Rio Grande or Fajardo may not qualify, we can arrange a convenient meeting point near your accommodation for your ease and comfort). The schedule will be from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm or from 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Both schedules have been strategically chosen to beat the crowds created by the large groups of other companies to make it more comfortable and safer for you.
Upon arrival, our certified tour guide will lead you through this amazing secret spot of "El Yunque". In this area you will explore through the mud trails and lush green of the rainforest. The hike will take approximately 1.5 miles in total and will take approximately twenty minutes to reach the first bathing area and another fifteen minutes hiking on rocks to get to the water slide. We’ll spend around 2 hours inside the rainforest where we’ll be swimming, swinging from the rope like Tarzan, sliding down a natural waterslide, cooling off under the waterfall and jumping from different cliffs.
Once the experience is over each member of the group will be taken back to their accommodation or meeting point.

Our group of 8 girlfriends had a blast on this waterfall hike/waterslide adventure!! Easy pickup right from our San Juan hotel for transport to El Yunque and drop-off afterwards. Our guide, Michael, was great, with knowledge about the forest and its wildlife. Definitely worth checking this out if staying in San Juan or nearby. Plus our early start time meant we were the first group to the slide and all activities, so no waiting in line. Lots of great memories!
Eli was such a grate tour guide. He is great at making everyone feel comfortable and safe. Any point I needed help or felt unsure he was there to help! The tour itself was great from being picked up to the snacks provided at the end. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a more personal experience!

Wonderful experience! Was awesome. Eli and Nini were great! We had a blast at the natural slide and water hole. Be cautious if you have knee issues or back issues as the hiking over slippery rocks is no joke. But it was so fun and we are glad we did this trip. Try to go early so it isn’t as crowded.

Adrian was AMAZING!! early tour or the best one. We got to go on 2 nature slides, jump off of 3 cliffs, and jump with a rope!! Highly recommend this as something to do for a Puerto Rico trip. We were done by 9:40 am , it was approximately 2-2.5 hours hike. Price is very reasonable. Super fun atmosphere. We had. Tour with 7 people total not including Adrian.
The experience was so fun and such a great deal! We were picked up, guided through the forest, given history, curated experiences, and photos. The guide handled everything for us leaving our group to just focus on having fun! Would recommend to everyone
This tour is a must do for those looking for adventure. El Yunque is amazing! The forest is naturally beautiful but our tour guides Eli and NiNi made the experience the best!! My favorite part is their attention to safety while still being really really fun. We had our 10 year old daughter with us and with them and the safety precautions they took, there was no worry during the whole trip! We hiked, and did the natural water slide, Cliff jumped and did the rope swing! Amazing! I would highly recommend this tour especially with Eli and NiNi, the best!!

Our tour guide Eli was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment the tour began, he made safety a top priority without ever sacrificing the fun. His balance of professionalism and personality created an experience that felt both exciting and reassuring. Eli’s knowledge of the rainforest was truly impressive. He shared fascinating details about the trees, flowers, and wildlife in a way that was easy to understand and genuinely engaging. Every stop felt intentional, every explanation thoughtful, and every moment memorable.
Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by the media package. The paid guide was supposed to capture everyone's jump. When we received the link containing all the photos and videos from the tour, everyone else's jump was recorded—except mine. Instead, there was an accidental video of the guide himself. I worked hard on those trails and was really looking forward to having that core memory captured. Missing out on the main highlight video after paying for the service was extremely disappointing. Especially because they encourage you to leave your phone behind. And guarantee that pics and videos will be sent. If you book this primarily for the promised photo/video capture, be aware that you might end up empty-handed. I wanted to cry.

Omg! The best experience in Puerto Rico! Michael was the best tour guide making sure this 50 something woman was safe and having a blast. The excursion is definitely a moderately strenuous activity but its well worth the effort. We jumped off rocks, rope swinging into the river and sliding down the water slide. Michael was very knowledgeable about the fauna and the rain forest as well. The tour provided snacks and bottled water. The value was worth twice what was charged. Put this on your bucket list with Trip Hackers!

Our tour guides Eli and Nini were rockstars!!! Very knowledgeable about the rainforest. They also spoke very clearly and directly about how to climb in the forest and even demonstrated the way we should climb. They kept us safe the whole time. I was very nervous before starting this tour but they were very encouraging and showed exactly how to do things safely. I even went down the slide and jumped off a cliff because they made me feel safe!! I enjoyed my half day tour with them. Great experience to remember.
I booked this excursion with my 12 year daughter and I AM THRILLED that I did! Adrian is the best guide, helped me through some amazing hikes, cliff jumps, slides and rope dives - he made the experience so fun, adventurous and memorable. He picked us up from the hotel and the entire 5 hours were incredible. I am tough critic and will be booking another excursion with him :)

It was as challenging as it was fun & exciting. The water slide was so rewarding after working up a sweat to get to that point. Arnel was an awesome guide & very helpful. Wow! Lotsa fun and educational, too… Eli, our guide, was informative AND entertaining—- and he and the small group took great care of our adventurous 11yo son, for the water slide…! We opted out if the climb to the water slide and just relaxed in the cool shallow river water of the rainforest— with the fishies… Our son and the group soon came back, and we got to watch them jump into the deeper water, from a 20 ft rock face and swinging rope. And Eli sent the whole group GREAT pics/videos of it all…! We saw large groups on the rainforest trail and also in the water— And we are glad we opted for the more personal attention we got as part of a small group.
Eli made our El Yunque experience unforgettable! From the moment we started, he made everyone feel comfortable and welcomed. He was extremely attentive and always made sure we were safe while hiking through the rainforest. He took the time to explain everything, made sure no one was left behind, and made the entire experience fun and stress-free. One of the best excursions if not the best our family has been on. We had a great time hiking and climbing through the rainforest and jumping from the cliffs, rope swings and natural water slides. Our tour guide Myrllam was very knowledgeable and passionate about her work. Lifetime memory made and would 100% recommend.
This was a really fun experience! The hiking was challenging, but not that long, and the payoff was worth it. El Yunque is a good 60.-90 minute drive away, so you’re at the forest for about 1 hour and 1/2 to 2. We all loved it and our guides were great!
Beautiful tour the climbing and hiking up rocks was challenging but such a great workout!! Tour guides were very educational about the rainforest and pointed out some cool plants. I loved how they snapped photos for us along the way and airdropped them at the end of the trip since we left our phones behind. Such a memorable experience!!

This has to be the best tour in my opinion on account for us being the first ones there! We had quiet for the first 30 minutes, unbothered and unrushed for all my questions about plants along the hike, and then the real crowds arrived just as we were leaving. Wouldn't have wanted to be in a later group. Michael was an informative and hilarious guide.

Our guide Eli was very knowledgeable and made the trip so fun and memorable while keeping safety first!! He also took pics and video and we had them before we were back at our hotel. We passed several other tour groups that didn’t have lifejackets or helmets; just one more reason I was glad I booked with this company. Book this excursion! You’ll thank me later!!
I do not recommend this company. They canceled my tour at 6:20am when I was scheduled to be picked up at 7am. Nothing other than we can’t make the pickup we provided you work anymore. I have reached out multiple times using multiple mediums and have yet to receive a refund.

Great experience, the slides, hiking and rope swings were very fun. From a planning perspective, be prepared to leave early. 6:30 or earlier from San Juan. The reward is you will likely get there before the crowds and get to enjoy the beauty. Onyx did a great job communicating.
