San Juan: Small-group Snorkeling Experience With Pickup

Our guide, Jorge, was amazing! We saw so many beautiful fish and sea life! Good times all around! My daughter even saw a lion fish!

Super fun experience! Gorge & Angel were great guides & they made our day worth it! We did this excursion for my birthday and they made the whole experience entertaining & interesting.

The guide Misael made sure we had a great time and showed us some cool stuff. He was also very safety concious, which my wife liked.

Not a lot of fish but we did see some, plus turtles. Guide was great and helpful. Just need to manage expectations conpared to snorkeling elsewhere.

Cons: Never mentioned that pick up in San Juan area is at 6 am until the day before the trip and after you charged the fees . Boring boat : no music on board unlike last years trip to culebra . I expect this in PR where music is part of the culture Driver not personable .i was late ( grabbing coffee inside the hotel at 6:13 am ) because he was late by 15 minutes . Meanwhile we had been waiting since 5:40 am. Pros : meal and drinks were good Crew was nice Locations good . Boat was nice Rec to tell people that coffee is available at the marina and not allowed on the bus esp at the 6 am pick up .

Orlando was a gem . He knew a lot of the history of Puerto Rico and was very fun to be around with . Extremely charismatic, professional, knowledgeable and funny. Had a great time at El Yunque Rain Forest .

We had such an amazing time snorkeling thanks to our guide! He was extremely attentive and made sure we were comfortable the whole way through. He kept the energy high, made sure the fish stayed around us so we could really enjoy the experience, and even threw in some hilarious impersonations that kept everyone laughing. He went above and beyond to make it fun and memorable. Highly recommend him if you’re looking for a guide who truly cares about your experience!

This is for sure good experience, they insure whoever is on the trip has all the safety gear especially in the rainforest, helmets and life jackets. The scuba diving very calm get to see some color fish depends if they don't get scared. There very helpful and energetic. For sure recommend it compared to others.

Great explanation and walkthrough. Very thorough. Water was clear and clean. Many unique fish as well as a few spots of pretty coral.

The snorkeling was a lot of fun!! We didn’t see any turtles but we did get to see a lot of cool fish. Lia and Misa made our trip special. They were excellent tour guides!!

This was great! The crew was very knowledgeable and were great with explanations of everything from safety to guidance on where the fish were swimming. Highly recommend if you have not ever been snorkeling! My wife and I had a blast! 🐠😎

Very simple, thought it was going to be a boat experience but had to go in from the public beach. Tour guide really wasn’t guiding much, overall you can really do it yourself.

Picked up at 2pm for a 3pm start time. We were done by 3:30pm. No boat involved. You go to a crowded beach and walk into the water.

Great experience. Lyah was awesome, very helpful and patient. Would recommend to anyone who has not tried snorkeling before.

The guides were great and very knowledgeable of the land. The tour in El Yunque was incomparable to other views. During the snorkeling we saw many fish and shells. Overall a great experience and one that I would recommend and do again!

We did an afternoon snorkeling trip with Leah, she was a wonderful guide. Highly recommend!! Would do this again The water was warm, she gave clear instructions to us beginners

Very organized and professional. Our guide Carlos was very knowledgeable. Always attentive to help and make sure we were having a good experience. Very easy - just walked into the cove. The snorkeling was awesome! Saw LOTS of fish, a sea turtle, and a barracuda! Highly recommend!!!

Very windy conditions, water was very murky and cloudy. Saw 1 turtle and a few fish. We were taken to two crowded areas frequented by families. Was very crowded. Was pushed over a beach rock wall due to the high waves and crowded beach. Guide had assured us that going over the wall was dangerous, but we would not have worry about the wall, because that would not happen. There were only 2 in our group- was wondering how many others would have been injured if there were more of us. Bruised knee, calf and finger. Thank goodness the rocks were not sharp, and I did not break anything.

It was fun!! Athena was an excellent teacher. We saw a sea turtle and many beautiful fish. Great time, and everything was run very efficiently. Would recommend for sure!

As someone who travels a lot and takes lots of tours, I have never met such an amazing tour guide like Athena! She ensures this experience is worthwhile and is super friendly. This tour was a perfect mix of adventure and relaxing. Definitely recommend!

My bestfriend scheduled this snorkeling experience as a birthday present to me. Funny thing, I’m not the best swimmer lol! Athena was our guide/instructor, she was VERY patient and nice! She let us go at a comfortable pace and was nice enough to take photos of us for some great memories.

Athena was an amazing guide! We loved her bright and bubbly personality. Getting up to snorkel at 8am was no small feat but she definitely made it worthwhile. Being a new swimmer, I felt so safe and comfortable in the water with her by my side. 💕 10/10 would recommend!

We had Jeffrey and Athena as our guides. They were wonderful and highly knowledgeable. It was one of my favorite experiences on the island. I loved seeing the fish and being able to explore within a group that they created a lot of cohesion amongst. Highly recommend!

There’s not much to say, there was nothing memorable, it was not what I expected, except possibly burns on the souls of my feet from walking across the hot parking lot.

Carlos was our guide - he barely spoke to us. He snorkeled way ahead of us & provided little if any guidance. Additionally, he blasted very explicit music in the van both there & back. I would not recommend this particular as it was unprofessional. I’d actually like my money back. I booked 3 other tours thru this service - all were fabulous, but this one was a waste of money.

I do Not recommend this at all. Pictures are deceiving. There were no instructions no questions about swimming in the ocean abilities especially with the children whom he left out in the water to go check on an adult member who was given not only one broken mask but the second one was broken too and she did was not able to participate. Children saw him smoking just before getting his gear on. Went to another dingy beach next to the turtle beach for the reefs. Our teenage fearless boys went the rest of us refused. I was so scared for their safety and I would not have let them go if the choice were mine. Once back safely, glory to God! The oldest said they almost got taken out to the open sea. This is a one man show with broken English and No instructions.

Carlos was amazing! I called the morning of the trip to make sure I was on the list and an actual person answered the phone! He picked us up on time and had all the needed equipment. He took us to two separate spots. The first location was to see turtles and he added in a sunken ship! The second location was a reef. I am not a great swimmer and was able to keep up. Your eyes will burn from the salt water, but they will adjust. Bring a few towels so you can dry off on the way back to the hotel. I would recommend Carlos and his tours to anyone going to visit PR!

We were picked up from our hotel and taken to a beach. We were given all the equipment that would be needed and Cesar led us into the water. We snorkeled at 2 different spots. The first stop had turtles and a couple of surprises. The second stop had fishes and a reef! Cesar was very knowledgeable about the views and answered all questions. We had snacks ready for us when we returned to the van.

We did snorkeling had the best time Jeffrey was sold out going convinced us to do it when we were going to back down super friendly very talkative. Funny made us have the greatest time 100% recommend help us out through everything made everything easy and outgoing and smooth. And also did the rainforest best experience of our lives

We had a great time, it was my daughters first time snorkeling. The beaches were beautiful and tour guide was very patient.

The tour guide was good. But the experience and package was horrible. Saw only two species of fish on a beach. It was misleading. I thought we were swimming with turtles because that's what was advertised. Very disappointed and for the amount of money I paid.

This was the best experience for me in Puerto Rico. The instructor was very professional and very easy to get along with. We had laughs and great conversation and a overall fun time. We met some great people. Definitely would recommend

Great communication! Very friendly! Such a great experience! Definitely recommend booking this! An absolute amazing guide. Got to feed the fish after the snorkeling experience. Answered all our questions about the wildlife. Made sure we were safe. If you book one of these this one is definitely the one to book!

There was great communication throughout the day before we were picked up. They let us know pick up time and when they were in route. Once we started the snorkeling, the instructor was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the snorkeling process itself. We were on a public beach, but there was tons of different fish and wildlife. We went long shelves of reef and saw clownfish, angel fish, lion fish and more. It was a fantastic experience and was very personal.

Carlos was great! Really nice when I was uncomfortable he took me back to shore and my husband continued the journey he was very nice and understanding we will be coming back
