San Juan Snorkel With Turtles And Manatee's; Free Video!

Was a bit skeptical given it is right in San Juan, but great experience! The guide/staff were all very friendly. Very relaxed atmosphere. We saw a manatee, some pufferfish, lionfish, and a variety of other species (including coral/plant life/sea sponges, etc.). Would definitely recommend as it’s a way to spend a lot of time in the water snorkeling and seeing wildlife without sacrificing half a day for an excursion. If you don’t see a particular animal you want or end up wanting a bit more time to get comfortable in the water they are very open and flexible with coming back at no cost!

Not what was expected.. very friendly staff but they did not check on the group much in the water. Two members of my group were really struggling to keep up. The instructor never swam back to check on him or slow down much. He seemed to be more worried about the time than making sure each member was okay. We also did not see much ocean life, but that is not the companies fault.

John was a fun instructor. Didn’t see the mantees unfortunately but I appreciate his adjustments. The turtles were plenty fun anyways

We had a good time. Equipment wasn’t the top of the line, and one in our party struggled with water in his mask/breathing tube. We did see many sea turtles, a conch (that looked falsely placed for our group), and a “live” starfish. We saw no manatees, and weren’t taken under the bridge to the manatee location. Our guide was very nice, and did help when we needed it! Video was not personalized at all! Mostly videos of the sea life taken by our guide, some animals only he saw & recorded and our group did not see them. Video did not showcase many of the swimmers, and you must subscribe to their youtube channel to see your video.

Do NOT book with this company. Showed up at scheduled time, 10:00. Was told the “boss” had to go buy life jackets, they didn’t have enough available. Asked if we could come back at 12:00pm. We were on a cruise ship so time was limited. Refused to refund our money.

Absolutely amazing experience! Our snorkel tour guides were incredible from start to finish. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and had a great time. The snorkeling was beautiful, and the entire experience was unforgettable. You can tell they genuinely love what they do and want everyone to enjoy themselves. Water was not great conditions, but they gave us the option to get a refund or reschedule for free. We decided to go despite the conditions and it was worth it! Tour guide was great and saw lots of sea life!

Not going to lie, it's a difficult swim. Wr did not make the whole trip had to turn around before we were able to see any cool sea life. I have snorkeled many times before but the swim.tpok it out of me. The guides were awesome, the gear was clean and well maintained.

We had a great time. John was an excellent guide. We saw some Turtles and they were beautiful. Unfortunately we did not get to see any manatees, but you can’t force nature. I would recommend giving this a try for sure! May the manatee luck be with you if you do!

My husband and I are here on our honeymoon. My mom booked us this excursion as a gift. We showed up at the scheduled time and there was no one there. I sent a message asking where we were supposed to meet. They replied and said they had called multiple times. I gave them my number and they called me. As soon as I answered, the guy started yelling at me. Saying they’ve been closed for a month and the excursion had been cancelled and it’s my fault they couldn’t get a hold of me. He said I had already been refunded, which wasn’t true because all day I checked the app and it said confirmed. It didn’t say refunded until we got off the phone. I apologized for him not being able to reach me, and explained my mom had booked it as a gift so her number was attached to the account. He continued to yell and told me they need to contact me, not my mother, and it was my fault. My mother did not receive any calls like they had claimed. Horrible customer service and missed out on part of the day we had planned.

They didn't show up. We arrived at the meeting point and found it empty. They didn't respond to a phone call or a text message. We ended up asking an employee of the nearby hotel and he indicated where they should be. They weren't there. He said they didn't come the day before either. They didn't respond until 2 hours had passed. Keep in mind this is a vacation and we planned both our day and our time in San Juan around this schedule. They claimed a broken pipe led the government to curtail activity in the area for the past two days. Understandable, but what's not understandable is why they didn't communicate 1) Via the Viator interface 2) Via text message 3) Via phone call or 4) Via email. They indicated "technical difficulty" but I find it hard to believe they had issues with ALL FOUR methods for 48 hours. So, if you like the possibility of being ghosted while on vacation and having to rearrange your plans last minute - please book here. If not, consider booking the other guys.

No one told us that our snorkeling trip was canceled. We wasted our time and money to drive an hour to the place and paid for parking and no one showed up. When I contacted the guides they insulated me and told me to go get wrecked and he was tired of me telling them that they should have contacted us. He told me I should contact the government because he was tired of explaining why they didn’t show up. I think we deserved more then just our refund back we should receive compensation for our time and all of our tolls, gas and parking fees. I honestly do not trust Viator anymore and after our trip in Puerto Rico I don’t think I will be using this app anymore

Was pretty awesome. Saw a couple turtles, lots of fish, starfish and urchins. Was for sure a work out. But worth it!

We were able to see many animals in there natural habitats. Kids even enjoyed it all and had ability to touch some of the starfish as well

Great experience snorkeling right in Condado! The guides are great about orienting everyone and making sure the group stays together. We saw lots of fish, turtles and manatees. They’re very respectful of the animals and provide a wonderful video. I’ve returned back to this tour because it’s excellent!

The staff here are super friendly and chill. The area we snorkeled was nice and easy to swim. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting here or even locals!

This tour is very misleading. You walk out from the beach to snorkel. You have to drink your shot directly from the same bottle as everyone else on the tour and no video was given. The ultimate insult was the rudeness of the tour operator. The guide was fine. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

I took other people's advice and booked the 1st available time at 10am. Jonathan was our snorkeling guide and was absolutely amazing! He was great at making sure everyone was keeping up and that no one was having issues. We got the opportunity to swim work multiple turtles and a manatee and her calf! We got to see and touch a live conch shell with a living conch inside and a decent size starfish! Absolutely amazing experience. You definitely need to be a fairly decent swimmer. We had quite a wind, so the current was quite strong. Definitely a MUST try!!

My friends and I had a great time! We were able to see a bunch of Sea turtles! Unfortunately, we didn’t see any manatees, but we were offered to come back another time for free to try again.

This is a fun experience. Great for beginners. John was a great guide. We saw many turtles, held a starfish, saw a spiny lobster, and were wowed by seeing a huge manatee!

This was an incredible experience! Definitely make sure you are prepared to swim a bit! We saw everything promised and more! Our tour guide was so nice and knowledgeable. 10/10!

It is alittle bit of strenuous work but plenty of time! Well worth it! The guides are excellent and knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. Would do it again.

A good friend, and I arrived for our snorkel tour. The tent was easy to find with the Google link in the description on Tripadvisor. The snorkeling gear, lifevest, and flippers were all clean, great quality, and of course, very helpful! There’s also a box to lock your personal items while you go out like phone, purse, towel, whatever else. We were out for about an hour and 15 minutes and saw plenty of turtles, a small juvenile manatee, sea stars, a sea stars, sea urchin, and plenty of fish!. Our guide was Louie (hope I got the spelling right). He really was the best! He gave us interesting information about what we saw, pointed out any animals we saw, and was just really nice to chat with! I could not recommend this enough. Please enjoy and respect a wild life as well!!!

My wife and I had a great time snorkeling! The guide was super knowledgeable and swam at a good pace for the whole group. We saw a baby manatee, turtles, sea slugs, a huge starfish, conch, and a ton of fish. It was a cool experience and would definitely recommend.

Must see and do. Guides were friendly and water flow shot of rum was fantastic. Did not get to see manatees but well worth the price.

Great tour! The weather was not in our favor - the current was strong and visibility was not great, but we still saw a few sea turtles, a manatee, a couple schools of fish and many conchs and starfish. The guide was completely upfront about the conditions and offered us a full refund before getting in the water. Our kids (12 and 9) had snorkeled before in open water so we went ahead and were glad we did. The current honestly wasn't too bad at all for us and everyone had a great time.

It was strenuous. Lots of swimming, sometimes against the current. My middle aged out of shape self was able to keep up, though. 😊 And we saw some cool sea life. Would recommend

Didn’t get to experience it asked for refund was denied twice tried to go out but didn’t make it 3 feet but the water due to not being swimmers

We were scheduled for a 12pm tour, but our friend had sprained her ankle the day prior so we weren’t sure if we could go. Unfortunately due to a liability issue, we weren’t able to do the tour. BUT Sal was awesome and gave us a refund with ZERO issue and was super kind the entire time. Hopefully next time we get to actually do it when I come back to Puerto Rico in the future. Thank you Sal!!!!!

The guides were very knowledgeable and respectful of marine life. They made me feel safe. Ahead of time they warned we may not see sea turtles and that the water was murky and offered a refund if anyone didn’t want to go. I elected to continue and saw sea turtles and the water wasn’t even bad. Overall would highly recommend this company and experience!

We saw multiple manatees and turtles. It was a large group but we still had a great view of everything. They loop around to make sure everyone can see.

Fun snorkeling experience in Condado Beach. The snorkel hut is just off the main road, easy to find. Friendly and helpful staff.

No boat involved just snorkel off the beach. Not ideal for novice swimmers as current is strong and was quite choppy when we did it. But didn’t disappoint we saw both turtles and manatee. Highly recommend

My mom and I went there with the sole purpose to see manatees and we got what we wanted. The operation was focused on safety and animal protection. We saw at least 4 different manatees and a calf. Wonderful creatures. My mom, who is no spring chicken, was able to keep up and enjoy this wonderful tour. She asked me to give them maximum stars so, I will!

Awful. the current was so strong, the activity should have been canceled. Literally, i had to pull my wife and daughter to shore. we saw NO sea animals. had no rum as it said. there was 1 guide in the water with at least 20 people snorkeling. the swim was grueling and dangerous. don't do it.

This was awesome!! We saw one manatee and one sea turtle!! Also the employees were so friendly and kind to us. Sal has great character and Louis was a great tour guide!! I’m grateful to have made connections on this tour and explore the wildlife, this is why I travel!!
