We really enjoyed our mini boat experience. Darnell made sure we got to see the Starfish and experience the Dolphins swimming next to us. This was the best excursion we experienced during our time here in Puerto Rico.

I had the best fun ever. We are a group of women over 55 this was our first time. Everybody was great. They gave us training on how to do it. And patiently waited on us to get it. The instructor was informative with history of San Juan. He lwas just a nice person and cute.

I work inside the San Juan bay giving a different type of tour and I honestly can say this tour is very good and one of the best to do in the San Juan Bay. Once I arrived I was met with very good care from the girls inside the office, they have sodas and water in the office and on the boat so you can refresh yourself before or during the adventure. After that we met Darnell which guided us through how everything was going to work and the safety instructions. Huge thanks to Darnell for being so informative and accommodating while keeping everything safe.

Nice way to see San Juan. Friendly staff! Wish the boat tour was a little longer and took us across the bay closer to BACARDÍ. You will stay mostly by the fort and in the industrial area.

So much fun! Learning more about the history of the forts and buildings, the boats in the dock, the mangroves, and the ocean. Darnell was hilarious and great! He even let us drive a little longer so my daughter could have a turn driving the boat. Because of weather and huge waves we didn't get to go closer to the bay nor did we get to swim, but it was still super fun and we would recommend it!!

It was a lot of fun and we learned a lot more about the forts, the boats in the docks, other buildings and just had fun seeing everything, including a big iguana in the mangrove. Just know that if weather is bad or waves in the bay are high, you won't get to go out there and won't be swimming. But, we didn't mind ..the rest of it was great and Darnell was fantastic and funny!

My friends and I had such an amazing time on this mini boat tour in San Juan! None of us had ever driven a boat before, but Darnell made the entire experience feel easy and stress-free. He explained everything clearly and made sure we felt comfortable and confident out on the water. I would highly recommend this to anyone, even if you’ve never been on a boat before!

We had a great experience, got a great lovey tour of the harbor and it was so much fun driving the mini boat around. The Guide was able to help us get a great photo of us on the boat in front of our cruise ship! A memorable experience for sure! A+ crew and operation!

The best excursion ever! Skip the cruise ship excursions and book directly through east island excursions. Darnell was fantastic! So fun and knowledgeable. He catered the tour to my kids’ interests. Would absolutely recommend to anyone! Just beware that the San Juan Bay Marina is a little janky. You’ll think you’re in the wrong place, but ask for directions and you’ll get there.

Fun boatride around the bay in San Juan. We had our own boat and the two guides (managers) took us around after a safety briefing. We also had some time to swim! Well worth the money. Felt very safe.

My soon to be 5 years old and I took San Juan Mini Boat Tour today on the Christmas Day, and the instructor Darnell Martínez was very patient and friendly who gave a clear guide on how to operate the boat and a wonderful tour. It was a famtastic experience and we had such a good time!

This never disappoints! Came back for a third time on this tour, but this time it was with the hubby and son. They took turns driving while I held on for the ride and tried to stay dry. It was a blast! And the weather was perfect - it was beautiful on the water!

This was my second time doing this tour and I would do it again. It’s cool to be able to drive your own mini boat and see all the beauty of Puerto Rico from the ocean. We even requested a little stop on a beach and we got to do that! it was beautiful and fun.

Went with my husband and son. My husband got to drive the mini boat and it turned out to be the highlight of our vacation for him. We drove to a few different historical check points and even docked and swam in the ocean for 20-25 minutes, which was an unexpected surprise but welcomed. Our guide found a starfish for us and just enjoyed riding the waves.

My mama and I (ages 60 and 42) got to experience this mini boat tour and it was amazing! We both got to drive the boat and it was a blast! Our Captain was Jaimen and he was so knowledgeable and very experienced in his field. It's too bad he was just filling in for someone else because he made our tour incredibly fun and had extensive knowledge of the history of PR and San Juan specifically. It was nice to be able to view the sights from the water. It can get pretty choppy, but he was very patient with us and let us go at our own speed until we felt comfortable. I do want to mention that where as we were comfortable in the boat just the 2 of us, we would have been pretty cramped if there were 3 or 4 of us. It is a mini boat after all. So if you are going to include 3 or 4, I'd suggest you all be very fit! We had a great time and would def do this again.

We experienced the San Juan mini boat tour Saturday and it was awesome! We got to drive our own boat and learned a lot about Puerto Ricos history. Our captain and tour guide, Jairam was extremely knowledge and an expert in his field. He was also very personable and pretty funny as well! He made us feel comfortable and we had a blast driving the boat in the San Juan Bay.

The Captain was really knowledgeable and nice during the tour. I recommend this excursion to anyone. Must do if you visit PR.

The guide was very friendly and patient. However, the young lady who worked inside on May 30 was rude, upon arrival she informed that we were extremely early and we were prompted to wait outside. When there was seating inside the air conditioned building and refreshments. I booked this excursion on Viator. There is nowhere on Viator’s website that informs you that you would be driving the boat there’s conflicting information from the companies website to the third-party vendor in which I booked. I attempted to explain this to the young lady to whom rudely and so eloquently advised me that the description is clear to be your own captain. This experience would be better suited for someone who is an experienced boater and given more than five minutes of instructions. Also, someone should ensure that any third party company in which they’re business is advertised on provides the same information to all customers. I would recommend this experience with the clarity that the person is fully informed and prepared for the task.

Awesome experience doing the mini boat tour. We got lucky and it was just us and our guide. Our guide was very kind and let us get off the boat and go to a beach for a little while. We had a wonderful time and would do this again! We got to see beautiful spots and our tour took some great pictures for us. We are very thankful!

We booked this excursion weeks before our trip and kids were so excited for it. Got an email the night before saying it was cancelled. No explanation. We walked down the day of our reservation to see if there was a mistake and we spoke with other tour companies next to east island. They told us the weather conditions were perfect so they weren’t sure why it was cancelled. When I called to ask if they had anything for our last day, the woman I spoke with was rude and just said the captain can cancel with no explanation. Ridiculous and very disappointed kids!!!!

This was the besttt excursion booked for our trip !! They let you drive the boat by yourself just you and your family on the boat and you and the rest of the group follow the tour guide around . He was doing donuts in the water taking us to different parts let us jump in the water it was so fun . They have a cooler on the boat and they give you drinks to put inside ! Definitely worth the price book now !!

This was so fun to actually get to drive the boat and tour the island from the water. We actually got to see some dolphins as well.

The boats were incredibly fun. Felt more secure than being on a jet ski and a cooler was provided on board and came loaded with ice and drinks. Would definitely recommend.

We did the San Juan Mini Boat Tour in a beautiful January morning. We enjoyed the 20 minute walk from Caribe Hilton to the marina. Check in was easy. The mini boat was clean and in very good condition. Francisco was our guide who lead us to some spectacular sights. It was pretty neat to see Old San Juan from the water and also a lot of fun to be side by side (well, sort of) with some giant cruise ships. The water was choppy part of the tour, so the adventurous element was definitely there too. We walked to the T Mobile District afterwards and had a great lunch there. This tour gave me a chance to see San Juan from a different perspective and I highly recommend it.

The tour was great. The boats went fast and we saw a number of San Juan highlights, with explanations from the guide. Highly recommended!

This excursion was better than the description. It was everything we were looking for, our guide took us on a very nice trip. They called the night before to confirm, directions were spot on and the folks running it were the best.

First-time driving a boat!!! Very simple, our tour guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. We explore the whole island from the water. It happened to rain while we were out so we got to enjoy all four seasons in one boat ride. 10 out of 10
