This was the an absolute terrible experience. As someone who frequent Puerto Rico, I’d have to say this is the WORSE I’ve been treated. The tour operator left way before the time scheduled. We couldn’t get in contact to catch up after traveling for THIRTY MINUTES to two different spots they said they were at and they were not. Then, because “the tour went on” they refuse to give a refund. This company preys on innocent tourist and no one should ever waste their money with this company. This experience ruined my entire trip and I will never book with this company or be back to PR. Please take this review seriously and refrain from spending with this company.

This was so much fun! A nice walk, a little folklore and a lot of history. Our guide was outstanding. Jan was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. Looked out for us in every way. Even called a taxi after the tour. Above and beyond! A must see.
More of a historical tour , nothing scary ! Your guide left us were tour ended we were lost for 1 hour trying to get back to meet g point
It’s very informative. Don’t expect any scares. It’s the history of important buildings and the history of what makes them haunted. It’s very good for the history fans.
Tour guide was more engaged with movie trivia than paranormal history or stories. He was unable to answer any paranormal questions. Tour guide frequently discussed politics and government in a non paranormal way. He also skipped several stops.
We enjoyed the tour. We learned about its history as well as the paranormal part of it. Our tour guide Jan was very knowledgeable and made the tour enjoyable.
Lovely way to see Old San Juan and the evening temperature is beautiful for walking. Wear comfortable shoes, take lots of pictures!
The tour was ok. To me, it was more of a history tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the city, overall it was a ok time.
I was at the end of our group and got stuck behind a group of people with a double wide stroller and couldn’t get around them. I got separated from the group. My friend said something to the tour guide - Richard from England - about making sure the group stays tighter. He looked at me and said “I’m sorry you got confused” and then said “I’m sorry your feelings got hurt when you got left behind.” I was by no means confused nor were my feelings hurt. In regards to the tour, there was a lot of ghost / paranormal talk, some history and recommendations for bars and restaurants. There were several areas that were packed and congested with a lot of loud music which made it impossible to hear him.
Jan was a great tour guide. I really appreciated all the extra details she shared. We had a great time.
Learnt a lot of history!! It’s a lot of walking so come prepared in comfy shoes. The guide was super informative about all kinds of things. I thought it was great for adults but might be a little boring for kids. The evening tour was great for escaping the heat of the daytime sun.
The guide was not prepared. Very little information was relayed especially about the unique kinds of history that you typically get on a ghost tour.
We had a great time with Richard, walking around Old San Juan. We communicated with ghosts and got to see old, small, historic, and spooky buildings. A great blend of ghost stories and history.
all good but a lot of history rather then scary stories. A lot of walking which i didn´t mind but wear comfortable shoes. The guide was very good informed. Eat before the tour afterwards everything is closed. Restaurant close around 9pm in puerto rico
Lovely walking tour. It was definitely more of a history tour than a ghost tour but I loved it just as much. Our tour took 2 1/2 hours so it was great exercise and lots of great views with the history behind it. Richard was great, I’d love to know more about him. A Britain who has lived all over and ended up in PR for over 30 years. So cool!
While our tour guide was knowledgeable about the history of Old San Juan, This tour is misidentified as a ghost tour. It was mostly a history tour with a couple mentions of bones found, etc. No real ghost stories to keep you interested. Plus this pace of the tour was very slow.
There are some uphill segments but pace is reasonable. This was a fantastic mix of history and spooky. And an awesome way to see a different side of San Juan. The old town is best seen in different lights (both day and night) and this gives you the night view of the city.
It is more of a historical tour than ghost tour. Be aware you will not enter any specific haunted buildings. Also you will walk two miles uphill, downhill, on cobblestones, broken cement so wear good walking shoes. We had one bathroom break. There was a stop to purchase water or beer. It was a 5 ibuprofen type if tour for me, but fun and we got to see so much of San Juan.
Great way to see the city from a different light and learn some general history along with some more peculiar facts.
Great tour and Joe was a knowlegable host. Learned a ton about San Juan and would book another tour with this company.
Great tour, excellent guide, great way to visit Old San Juan. The almost three hour tour was informative and entertaining with great ghostly facts thrown in at each stop. I highly recommend.
The guide was very nice and knowledgeable. But the tour was soooo boring. Nothing ghostly at all. A bunch of long boring stories. I couldn't take it. I left the tour after 1.5hrs.
The old town is beautiful and is completely transformed at night. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of PR and described "haunted" locations in detail. We had walked the town during the day and then came back for this tour. I would suggest taking a self guided tour during the day and then come back for some spooky fun after a few Pina Coladas'. Most of the town had lost power late in the day which gave the tour a little help on the overall experience.
It was a education fun outing. It lasted 3 hours but we covered a lot of the history And past ghost of old San Juan
Nice experience, got to see the city at night.
Our guide Joe was great, kept us entertained for the whole tour!
The guide hit both historical and haunted places in Old San Juan. He inserted some personal experiences in as well. Pretty good tour but a quick walking pace. Would be difficult for those who are older/have difficulty walking.
The tour was very good and Leo was very knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour. The only suggestion that I have was that he extended the tour, which was great, but he should have asked the group. There were several that were not happy about the extension. We thoroughly enjoyed it. He even helped us get an Uber at the end.
This was an excellent tour. Our tour guide was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. Would recommend.
Leo was a fantastic guide. Super knowledgeable about Puerto Rican history and historical events across the world. He would be a whiz at trivia! The tour itself was also very enjoyable. It's more historical in nature than a "spooky ghost tour," which perfectly suited our interests. I would love to spend an afternoon with Leo just hearing what else he knows. He also made a special stop and got us access to a closed facility in case anyone needed to use the restroom while in old town San Juan, and kindly shared tissues that he carried in his bag because he knew the public restrooms probably wouldn't have them. At the end of the tour, he walked with us to show us the best place to grab an uber to our late dinner reservations. Very thoughtful to go above and beyond.
Our tour guide was superbly informative about all things PR. He himself had traveled to 140+ countries and has a strong grasp of global geopolitics and culture. The themes we discussed during the tour reflected that.
Our guide was great, we saw and learned a lot about Old San Juan, and certainly heard some ghost stories as well! Fun walk and explored a lot of the city.
Fantastic! Our tour guide was so personable and knowledgeable! We learned a ton of history and really enjoyed the experience!
Great first night in San Juan. Walked through the old town. The guide had extensive knowledge of history.
We were expecting a 'ghost tour' but our guide continued to ask us questions about history and after answering wrong, he then proceeded to give us the correct history but very few stories about hauntings. We have been on several 'ghost tours' , this was disappointing. I'm sorry.
Wonderful evening with our tour guide Richard who talked about the history and the haunted places of Old San Juan. He speaks with great knowledge and passion about the history of the spirits that once lived in the area. The walking tour was easy and very enjoyable.
Halfway through i went on my phone until the tour was over. It was more of a history tour than anything and the tour guide kept talking about random movies he liked and what restaurant he likes to eat at. He also kept saying we weren't Latino because we didn't know all of our history (hence why we are booking the tour...) and it was just a reoccurring joke that got old quickly-
Leo was the best! A very informative and hands on tour that took us to many sights of past and present hauntings. I enjoyed the history portion of the tour, especially in the cool evening. Leo went above and beyond to introduce us to a local, eccentric Inn where we sat with the owner and talked about her very colorful past, it was quite the treat. I highly recommend this tour to others.
Very informative. Leo was very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. He was very friendly. There is lots of walking but not strenuous at all. Was able to get great pictures along the way!
It was so much fun! We learned so much about the history of San Juan. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and full of fun facts.
This was wonderful. An area so rich with history and what an excellent guide. I have been on other ghost tours in other cities that left me with night mares. This was more of a history tour with a touch of ghost stories - which we really enjoyed. We also appreciated the guide taking the lead from the group at times and indulging our interests.
He was extremely knowledgeable about Old San Juan, and he was very nice. It seems like he knew about every legend involving the area. Definite potential for spookiness in Old San Juan.
It was okay, I think when it comes to ghost stories or hauntings I have super high expectations. The tour guide had good stories but nothing “spooky” for my taste. Also I thought the tour guide would have been a local/Puerto Rican but he wasn’t. Definitely would have much rather liked to support a PR native. But overall it was okay, I did learn more on the history of Viejo San Juan which was pretty cool to learn.
Leonardo was fantastic. I learned much about the haunted history of San Juan but also much about its people and their history. It was.a great tour. I was also very happy he was kind enough to speak in Spanish and English so I could practice.
Leo was amazing!! Very knowledgeable in the history of the city and showed us a lot of places with reports of paranormal activity.
Joseph was a great tour guide. He knows a lot about history and travel. It was so interesting to learn about the local area.
This tour changed our trip. My sister and I arrived for our first trip to Puerto Rico that afternoon. Tired and hot we set off to explore on our own. We were so disappointed in what we saw that we almost changed our plans and flew home. This tour changed our minds. No, it is not a traditional ghost tour, but I walked away with an understanding of Puerto Rico and what it means to be a U.S. territory. We learned some history and some culture along with what Old San Juan is like today. We were given the information we needed to build a great vacation. If you go, ask questions about things that interest you. We did and our guide pointed out similar things throughout the night. I highly recommend as a first evening experience.
I expected more of a ghost walk with tales of haunting and history stories behind why people had different experiences. Instead it was general history, comment about movies being filmed in San Juan and more like there are graveyards, so ghosts are around.
Our guide was very knowledgeable about the paranormal history of San Juan, but also its rich cultural and historical significance. Given the city's age and the darkness there is still plenty of "spooky" for those seeking it, but we truly appreciated the educational experience. There are a couple spots where the roads get steep and dark so its best to have your phone charged or bring a flashlight. The tour does end near a Gelato shop and several popular night spots, so it is a great activity to start your evening and finish with other pursuits depending upon your group make-up.
Extremely knowledgeable about world history and the overlaps that caused many fascinating historical tragedies. Great cultural context. Thanks Leo!
