This tour ended up being so much more than we expected. Seeing the process from beginning to end gave us a completely different appreciation for what goes into the process for you to enjoy your morning coffee. The patience, physical work, knowledge, and care behind something most of us consume without a second thought. What stayed with us most, though, was the perspective the day gave us. Between growing coffee and stopping at a small tucked away waterfall, there was a simplicity to the experience that felt grounding. It was a reminder that a rich life isn’t necessarily about having more, but about taking pride in what you do, being connected to the people and places around you, and finding enjoyment in ordinary moments that most take for granted. We left with a greater appreciation, for the people, work, and way of life behind it. Easily one of the most meaningful experiences of our trip, and it wouldn’t be as memorable without our tour guide. Eddie made us feel as though we were really experiencing Puerto Rico rather than just touring it. #TeamEdward

Edward is great!! Everything about this experience is amazing coffee lovers definitely book this one!!!
Our tour was excellent. The coffee plantation, waterfalls and lunch spot at an authentic lunch place gave us a great experience of Puerto Rico. Nestor made the pick up very easy. He was so courteous and gave us great facts about Puerto Rico over the several hour tour. He really wanted to ensure we got the full experience which was a success.
Our guide Nestor, was very friendly and informative. We had many great conversations with our guide. The 6 hour excursion flew by visiting the coffee plantation and waterfalls/restaurant for lunch.
Omg I had an amazing day hanging out with my tour gudie. What an incredible experience. The coffee tour and waterfall was what I needed and I can't wait to show my friends and family all the amazing pictures. Thank you again for taking care of me! Latasha
The visit to the coffee plantation was very interesting; we learned a lot. Fabiola is an excellent guide, very friendly and pleasant to talk to! She knows a lot about Puerto Rico and she is really passionated about the island. Also, the restaurant where we had lunch was delicious. I highly recommend this tour!
We had a phenomenal time with Fabiola on our tour during our honeymoon. We accidentally put the wrong I love PR sign into the uber and she was very kind in picking us up when we realized the confusion. She was incredibly personable the whole time, sharing a balance of PR history, culture, and asking us about our lives and interests. The coffee tour was FANTASTIC and we loved the lunch + views of the waterfalls.
My sister and I truly enjoyed our day with Fabs from the start. It was small and personal which was nice. She has extensive knowledge of Puerto Rico with perfect English so we all had good conversation. The Waterfall experience was my favorite and surprisingly no other people there so we could relax and listen to the sounds of nature! Coming from Phoenix, AZ we were quite interested in all the local flavor.
While our tour guide and driver Edward was very nice with lots of interesting information to share about the island we were disappointed about a number of aspects for the tour. First our ticket was for 10:30 with instructions to meet then. We got a text that morning saying they expected to meet at 8:30; there must have been a snafu with the reservation system. We missed breakfast in San Juan and took our own uber to the plantation. While the plantation was interesting the tours were very poorly run. There was one slow line for buying anything (coffee, pastries, and tickets for the tour) and so the tour left while we were still in line for tickets. The group for the tour was too large and it was often hard to see and hear the guide. The guide was very long winded and we were stopped at points for a very long time - it would have been much better if the guide walked and talked. The group was so large that for the indoor portions you couldn’t see and sometimes the whole group couldn’t fit. The equipment for the free sample was broken and had to be rebrewed. Afterwards Edward took us to a waterfall that was secluded but effectively in someone’s backyard. We did have fun swimming in the waterfall and it felt very safe. At the local restaurant there it took an hour for our food to be prepared but it was the best meal we had on our entire trip. The driving back to San Juan was comfortable and the tour group credited us the cost of the Uber. In the end our experience was positive but mixed. If they fixed those things mentioned above it would have been a much better experience.
We were not able to go to this adventure since the roads were closed in Old San Juan the day we were supposed to meet. The host made a valiant effort to still make do on the trip, but circumstances prevented us being able to enjoy the experience. The host was super gracious and returned our payment. Very honest and nice. Will try again in the future since this is a very reputable host.
Our tour was canceled, and we didn't find out about it until we showed up at the meeting point, found no one there, and called to ask what was going on. The person who answered the phone said that the tour guide had been hospitalized the previous day, and she was supposed to have told the customers that the tour was canceled. He issued a refund (hence two stars rather than one, but it's curious that that wasn't done until I called) and apologized, but no rescheduling was possible. I want to stress that this bad review is not due to the cancellation. It's due to the lack of communication and the company's apparent expectation that a hospitalized employee should contact customers to tell them about the cancellation.
I highly recommend using fabs!!! She is fantastic!!! We really enjoyed our time and tour with her. She goes above and beyond and you can tell she truly cares and loves what she does!!!
Someone recommended doing a coffee plantation tour and this one was the closest to San Juan and included a trip to a waterfall. We were surprised when we were the only couple on the trip, but it turned out to be a lot of fun. Fabiola is energetic, friendly, knowledgeable about the country and its history, a good driver, and a very effective communicator in both English and Spanish. And for six hours she was our personal tour guide. Hacienda Muñoz was nicely maintained and had a wonderful coffee shop with breakfast sandwiches and pastries. That was followed by a one hour tour with an onsite guide (also excellent) where we learned about the history and process of growing, harvesting and roasting the coffee. The waterfall and lunch were also worthwhile and the tropical juices were probably the highlight. There was spotty rain during the day, but it didn't interfere with our enjoyment of the day. Would do it again.
We had a wonderful day with Eduard our tour guide. Absolutely recommend this tour if you like coffee and a relaxing day enjoying the beauty of Puerto Rico lush mountains and exotic nature.
This was a great experience. Fabiola was amazing. She gave a unique experience that helped to visit some hidden treasures. She was attentive and great at communication and driving.
I want to say that this tour has potential to be good but there needs to be some work done. My tour guide was very sweet but it was clear that they did not know much about the places we went too, specifically the coffee farm. The tours on the coffee farm only happen on the weekend- which I did not see in the listing. We were there for a short time. Then we drove to the lunch spot which felt too soon after breakfast. We went to the waterfall behind the lunch spot. Then next thing I knew we were driving back to San Juan. I would say that the listing is not very accurate and the price for the tour was too much.
We had the absolute best experience on our tour in Puerto Rico! Our guide, Edward, went above and beyond in every way. He was warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable, making the coffee tour, hacienda visit, and waterfall adventure both fun and memorable. Edward made us feel so comfortable, like we were exploring with a lifelong friend rather than just a guide. By the end of the trip, we truly felt like we had made a friend forever. We are so grateful for his hospitality and the unforgettable experience he gave us—highly recommend this tour and especially Edward!
We had a fantastic time! Fabiola was a awesome tour guide and driver. The tour of the coffee plantation was full of really interesting facts, the drive through the inner parts of the island were incredibly scenic, lunch was delicious, and the water falls were unlike anything we'd ever seen. Highly recommend!
We had a terrific experience on this tour. From start to finish, everything was well-organized, informative, and fun. Edward was not only knowledgeable but also warm and engaging, making the day feel personal and memorable. The coffee plantation was stunning. We learned so much about the process from bean to cup. The breakfast was delicious. The falls were also absolutely stunning—a perfect spot for photos and a dip. We highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience the culture and beauty of the region.
I enjoyed my day with Fabiola and I ❤️ Puerto Rico tours. The day was more than imagined, and the detail and insight Fabiola provided along our journey was so helpful to continue to build my understanding of the history and culture of the island. The coffee plantation tour was thorough and worthwhile. After that she took me throughout the mountainous area to a beautiful waterfall area. I love exclusive everything felt. She even took pictures of our journey with a really good camera and shared the pics with me afterward. I highly recommend I heart PR Tours! Thank You.
