This was a great tour. The guide was very informative on the area and showed us around to the areas where the locals go. We had the best food and best pina colada of our entire stay during this tour. Would definitely recommend

Booked This Excursion For A Little Mom Daughter/ Birthday Trip. Loved Every Second Of It. Went To The Lake We Were Greeted by Isail He Is The Nicest Most Kindest Person We Met On Our Trip To PR Very Helpful And Talkactive He Made The Day Go By So Fast. We Were Greeted With Water And Some Rum Cocktails Which Was Nice With The Hot Weather. Went To Piñones Got Some Awesome Food He Was Very Helpful With The Food Answering All Our Questions. Walked By The Beach He Even Took Amazing Photos Of Us And Dropped Us Off Back At Our Hotel. Will Be Back Next Year And Booking Again
This food and culture tour truly exceeded my expectations and was one of the highlights of our time in Puerto Rico. It offered an incredible introduction to Afro–Puerto Rican cuisine and culture in a way that felt authentic, immersive, and genuinely meaningful. It was my first time visiting this part of the island and its beaches, and I’m so glad we experienced it this way. Our tour guide was extraordinary—engaging, friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. The small group size made a huge difference. There was plenty of food to go around, and everything we tasted was absolutely amazing. From flavorful Afro–Puerto Rican street food to locally crafted rum shots, every stop felt thoughtfully curated and delicious. The food alone would make this tour worthwhile. The three beach stops were the perfect touch. This allowed us to cool off, unwind, and soak in the beauty of the coastline. At one stop, we purchased mojitos from a local vendor—and they were some of the best we’ve had. It added to the authentic, community-centered feel of the entire experience. If you’re a foodie who loves learning about different cultures—or if you simply want an authentic, off-the-beaten-path experience—this tour is a must. It’s more than just a food tour; it’s a celebration of Afro–Puerto Rican heritage, community, and flavor. Highly recommend!
We had a great tour with Osail who was great, attentive and informative. Would recommend this tour. Delicious food and drinks too.
Fun tour, good African food and lots of shots. The guide was very friendly and fun. We had a very nice afternoon
Izzy was very knowledgeable and informative!! He was prompt and on time. The local markets were exacting!!
This was a horrible tour that my friends and I ended up leaving early. The van we were transported in did not have a/c or working windows, the food we were given was not worth eating at all, and the alcohol was cheap (and we would have had to pay for most of it). Our guide appeared visibly high, and the area was not one that we thought most tourists would enjoy. We got our own transportation back to SJ, and we've requested a partial refund of the high tour cost, with no response. Do not waste your money on this experience.
Izzy was very nice and knew exactly where to go and he had recommendations for everything! Music on the drive was good. There is plenty of time to explore in between stops.
Easy was FANTASTIC! This tour did not disappoint. He knew the local spots for great drinks and food. Let us take our time and enjoy the scenery. Eazy was engaging and allowed us to just be us! During our stops he catered to us like he knew us forever, giving u advice on other things to do. Book this with Eazy he is absolutely lovable! 10/10
It was an okay experience overall, but not quite what I was hoping for. There was a beach stop, but we didn’t get enough time there to actually swim or relax and enjoy it, which was a bit disappointing. The bar crawl itself had decent energy, and the group was fun, but nothing particularly stood out. They did a good job communicating about a few unexpected issues that came up, which I appreciated—but those hiccups still affected the overall vibe. Also, the “included food” was just a small appetizer platter for the whole group (about 10 people), so definitely more of a light snack than a real meal. If you’re going in with laid-back expectations and just looking for a casual night out, it could still be enjoyable—but it wasn’t quite what I expected.
Afroboricuas cuisine, shots, drinks and beach hopping? Best way to spend your Saturday. Huge shoutout to Isail for being the chillest yet hilarious tour guide for this excursion!
The tour itself was great! Great food and drinks. Our guide Isail (issy) was funny engaging on just all around good at his job. Only issue was no AC in the Van. But, overall a great tour.
Your guy was AMAZING and reliable. Made sure he looked out for the group and the different foods and drinks were DELICIOUS. Highly recommend
Simple trip to the next town over, fun tour guide! Good food, delicious drinks. Fun beach party vibe.
Izzy is very personable and makes the experience even more enjoyable. And to add the food was amazing
The tour guide was nice, but the experience was disappointing. It wasn’t a real bar crawl, just a few local stops with little to no info about the city. Overall, it was boring.”
This was such a fun tour! Earlier in the day my husband and I did a tour of the city with a different company and it was nice. But this was a completely different vibe! As advertised we were provided with a fun and tasty rum pouch then headed to Pinones. We made various stops and enjoyed good food, tasty drinks, and enjoyed the scenery. Our guide was super chill and nice and our group was fun. This is yhe perfect pregame activity for setting the vibe! Would recommend!
Such a great fun experience! I was in a group of 11 people all girls Isael was very attentive and kind to everyone. We all had a great time give my man Isael a well deserved raise :)
Great experience great food great sights great tour EZ is the man cool young tour guide keep Up the good work
Such a fun tour with Isail! Started off with delicious rum pouches and good music for the ride to Pinones/Loiza. Isail was very attentive and informative. The food and drinks were delicious! We saw a beautiful beach and natural rock formations at a hidden local spot Isail took us too! Book this tour!
Expect a lot of food, drinks, and laughter. The scenery was beautiful. The tour guide “Easy” was fantastic!!!
My partner and I fully enjoyed everything about this experience! We appreciated seeing real, local Puerto Rico, and enjoying the excellent food that was provided! Everyone that we met along the way was kind and welcoming! Our tour guide Isail was very knowledgeable about where to go and the stories he shared. We would most definitely do this again!
Isial was a great guide and very funny. He made sure you enjoyed yourself and ate well and drink well.
fun experience great travel tour guide would do it again get to see great views of PR photos available
Easy made this tour super fun but also educational! Easy provided us with a drink pouch before getting started. We went to several different locations / beaches, had a free plate of different Afro-Puerto Rican food, free shots of liquor, and he lets you play your own music. He even takes pictures of you with the beautiful scenery behind. I loved this tour and would 10/10 do it again.
I recently went on the Piñones Bar Crawl and Beach Hop Tour with Drinks, and it was an unforgettable experience! The tour was the perfect mix of relaxation, adventure, and cultural immersion. From visiting beautiful local beaches to experiencing the rich African influence in the area’s cuisine and bars, every stop felt authentic and welcoming. Our tour guide was fantastic—friendly, inviting, and never made us feel rushed. The whole experience felt natural and enjoyable, allowing us to take in the stunning views and savor the delicious local flavors at our own pace. If you’re looking for a laid-back but enriching way to explore Piñones, this tour is a must! Highly recommend!
I was a solo traveler for this adventure, which I was a little hesitant about from the start, but Izzy made me feel very comfortable. When we got to the first location, he offered to be my photographer for the evening since he knew I was alone, which I really appreciated. He takes really good pics...We went to a few local spots with the most amazing beaches that I would not have experienced if not for the tour. We were definitely off the beaten path... I was able to learn a little about the African influence on the culture and religion of PR and was even given some insight on things to experience when I return! I loved the down to earth nature of this experience!!
Isail is super friendly and personable. He was on top of my food allergies at each stop with food and we had a really fantastic time. We were taken to places that we would have never found on our own.
Very entertaining. Tour guide was very friendly. The local spots he took us to had great drinks and food
Great laid back tour with an awesome tour guide Isail. He treated us with so much respect. Communication was great. He took us around the area even a day party! We would do this again! Must try this! Gives you a looking to the local life! Sunday was a great day to see so many locals chill and vibe and be welcoming.
I like going on food tours to learn more about local culture and food that I should try, especially off the beaten path. Within that context, I think this tour was really not for me. Our tour started with a rum pouch which was, ok. It was nice to have something in the car on the way but no context was given and it felt more like a way to get us drinking, which can be fine! On the way we got a bit of history about pinones and the battle, however honestly I couldn’t hear the tour guide as I was in the back of the van. I ended up looking it up on Wikipedia to learn about it. We stopped at an interesting small museum and the tour guide told us a bit about bombas. I will say this was interesting, and I wanted to know a lot more!! In general I could have used more of a deep dive into what PR is all about and how that intersected with the food/drink we were trying. We got to the first location which was a BBQ stand with chicken or pork ribs as your options. I will say the food was tasty - we liked both, and the sides we got were also nice and flavorful - rice/beans, yucca, tostones, and malanga. However, we got no context on the food, advice on what to order, or how this food is uniquely PR (or not). Something I look forward to a lot! At our next stop, we got to try the local rum (Don Q) with coconut that was sooo smooth. We liked the vibe of this place a lot and agreed we’d love to come back! There were some other good looking foods we didn’t order. I wish our guide had advised us on other tasty things to try here. Especially because at the start of the tour, we asked about mufungo. But I think the tour guide forgot. At this stop, I also was really turned off by the fact that there was a person walking around attempting to scam other patrons on the tour. They were doing the “donation” with a list of names scam that is really common (you can google it). I don’t think the tour guide realized, but this was really upsetting to me because a tour guide should be aware of people who prey on tourists. She was able to scam people out of some money before we left, and in general I think this left a bad taste in my mouth. The next stop was a yummy mojito spot on the side of the road and this was definitely one of the best roadside cocktails I’ve ever had! This also came with a free shot. The other part about the tour is that the vibe was very disorganized. We waited a while at each stop and found ourselves just kind of…sitting. The guide was having to rush to get people’s orders and then wait in the general line to get our food/drinks. I really liked our guide as a person, and I could tell he was trying really hard to keep us happy. I think fewer people and having a better system when stopping could help with this. In general, I think this was a good value for the drinks/food you get. You definitely get tipsy! However, if you’re looking for a lot of education and advice on foods this really isn’t the tour for you. I would pay more for a more in depth tour!
The experience was fun! Seen a lot of attractions also some yummy food tasting! Definitely try this experience out!
Tour was interesting, driver was very friendly. The food was good and the atmosphere of live music and the energy was welcoming. We really enjoyed the authenticity of everything
Our tour guide was amazing and very friendly. Isail made the experience awesome and even drove us back to our hostel. They showed us amazing food spots and scenery we would’ve never seen without their tour. Was a lot of fun
Me and my friend enjoyed a great experience! I enjoyed meeting new people & enjoying authentic puertican food with Isail. I would definitely recommend this tour with others who are traveling to pr!
From start to finish the drivers made the experience fun and memorable. I remained in contact the day of with the drivers the food and drinks were amazing. If you are reading this the detour was really fun and got us wanting to come back
We had a great time on our tour with Derek and Isail ! The food sample platter was great. The drinks from the Pina Colada Queen are delicious and strong.
Love the atmosphere and the guides. We had a ball everything was laid out but we had options also will be back again. Food was great and with the company.
Very much unexpected wonderful treat of a tour. Derrick is a great guide with a great spirit. The experience with actual locals was well deserved wonderful ppl.
Great drinks and food. I wish we could have started earlier in the day because it was dark by the time we got to last beach. But overall great experience!
I was amazed to see Pinones. We were greeted by our tour guide with rum punch and hit about 5 stops. My favorite was shelias Mojito and Pina Coloadas! The water was magnificent to look at and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. I was also able to meet a few other solo travelers in the group and made friends! Definitely worth the money !
We had a great afternoon exploring Piñones and Isla Verde with Derek! Snacks and drinks were so amazing and we got to explore a part of the island I’ve never seen!
We visited during Christmas and really enjoyed Piñones. Our tour guide was easy to talk to and showed us some really cool spots. The food was amazing, and the beach was incredible. I will definitely plan another trip here when I return to Puerto Rico!
The tour states that it’s a bar crawl and beach hop and food tour but unfortunately, all we got was a cooler of beer and rum pouches and two empanadas from two different places. There were four stops if you count the shack we went to for a greasy empanadas and I don’t recall seeing a beach as we only stayed for 5 mins. Our first stop was to a remote area with food shacks. Pretty cool view of the ocean and we all had a choice of 1 empanadas each. I opted for the chicken on a stick for $5. It was delicious. This was the only stop worth mentioning. For $121 (2ppl) we got a nice driver and an “uber” ride to a remote place we would not have visited. That’s about it. It was NOT a food tour and NOT a bar crawl. It was a beach hop…in and out. The only real bar crawl was our last destination that was a bar where a couple of us had beer with the locals. Overall, we got a nice Uber ride with a nice driver with some pretty cool people. I was starving and sober by the time we got back to the hotel. I would recommend this tour if you need a ride to remote places.
NEVER should have been offered Christmas Eve. Nothing was open. Paid for two of us to be driven around. Our last stop was a nice restaurant with a rooftop bar that was open so we could spend $50 for a few drinks. We should be refunded. Worst waste of money ever.
This your was amazing! Derrick, our guide, was so cool! Drinks provided when we got on the can and shots at the food spot we stopped at. The local food was AMAZING! Weather was amazing! Do the tour! It's worth it!
Derrick was helpful fun and knowledgeable. We wanted to stay with him our entire trip! The places we visited were inviting. We truly enjoyed ourselves.
VERY BORING! Our tour guide only took us to his friend’s place of business where I’m sure he’s getting a cut ( how I know?) he was speaking to the drink lady on the side of the building after 14 people purchased expensive water down drinks
Derrick was a great guide! He introduced us to parts of PR that we would’ve have known about on our own.
Pinones is a must go to Our tour guide Derrick was on time and was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to.The food was amazing and so were the views! Our guide took us on hidden trail where are group was able to take many photos of the ocean and the mountains. FYI bring some cash as it easier for to buy things at smaller kiosk.
