Old And New San Juan History City And Street Art Tour

Our San Juan tour today was a lot of fun. Our guide was Alexander. We saw so many interesting sites in this beautiful island. Gorgeous beaches, tremendous artwork, historical sites. And Alexander was a great guide and brave driver. We spent the entire time laughing. Come for the sites, stay for the jokes! Also a big thanks to the tour company for being so kind about having to change the schedule (a rare Cruise where ship time isn't the same as local time). If you book this tour, have a drunken cookie for me!

Jesus did a wonderful job describing all the different places. He was very knowledgeable of all the different places in Puerto Rico. He gave us opportunity to take wonderful pictures and show us all the beautiful places and a nice pace. My mother-in-law had limitations and he was able to help her.

My sister and I booked a private tour with Transfers PR during a short stay in San Juan prior to starting a cruise. Jesus was our expert driver and guide. Jesus was a great guide for us. We didn’t have much time in the city so this was a nice way of seeing some of it condensed into a way that suited us. He showed us some amazing street art and gave us options to get out at certain points for photo opportunities. A fantastic way to see a beautiful island!

Jesus if very knowledgeable and took us the most histrionic areas Old San Juan has to offer!He was very patient allowing us to take pictures and explore the areas!

This tour operator tried to reschedule our tour without explanation about 40 minutes before we were scheduled to be picked up at our hotel. The tour was for 8:30 and they tried to reschedule for noon. When I told them that would not work for us, they tried to reschedule for 11 am. I have no idea what the problem was, but I expected more notice and accommodation when it was their fault.

This tour includes the afro caribena side of Puerto Rico. It is an excellent tour and Jesus is so knowledgeable about Puerto Rico and the different areas.

Jose was an excellent guide. Pickup point was easily accessable from the cruise port and Jose was on time. As a native of San Juan, Jose had a wealth of knowledge, both historical and local.An excellent overview for my first visit to San Juan. This is a an extremely clean city and Jose's guideed tour certainly created an interest in returning to San Juan for a longer stay.

We enjoyed our time with Alex touring Old San Juan. He was communicative and prompt in the planning. The vehicle was very comfortable for our elderly father and the rest of our group. He was sensitive to stops for short walks and gave a heads up on how to modify. There is a lot of traffic in OSJ but Alex kept it entertaining and added some fun stops - must see the troll!

I was a little concerned about meeting our driver, but he readily answered my text and told me where and a description of his vehicle. Jesus was professional, loves his city and sharing it with tourist. A safe, polite driver. My husband has mobility issues, so we opted to stay in the car throughout the tour but he gave us options to get out.

This was a truly incredible experience. Jesus provided a unique local insight into the incredible street art scene in San Juan and we learned so much about the history and culture regarding the main spots around Old San Juan. He also provided a fantastic recommendation for lunch and was incredibly patient with our energetic children. His passion for his city was contagious, and it was truly a joy.

Excellent way to spend a half day in San Juan! Jesus is personable and well versed in history and culture. His vehicle is particularly good for sight seeing and picture taking. He took us to many picturesque spots allowing us time to hop out and explore some of the more unique sights. We really enjoyed the tour and highly recommend it.

I was pleased with the clear instructions the tour operator gave for the meeting place. Driver showed up on time, loaded our luggage, and tour is on a personalized tour of San Juan. He took us to all the places I requested, allowed us to get out and walk around several times, and gave interesting narration throughout. Finally, he dropped us on time at the airport.

Very informative and fun tour. We especially were happy because it was raining so we got to tour the city without getting soaked. Our guide, Jesus, was awesome and gave us a viewpoint of a local. He stopped along the way to get us empanadas and fresh fruit.

Jesus was a superb tour guide. He knows the history of San Juan and he shares the details in a memorable and interesting way. He customized the tour to meet our needs, as one member of the group had somewhat limited mobility. I wanted to shop for T-shirts, and he took us to a local shop so that we could look around and shop. Jesus answered all of our questions, and he made our trip very enjoyable. We were a bit hesitant about where the pick-up address was located, but Jesus made it easy. He texted me beforehand to enquire about the name of our cruise ship, and he agreed to meet directly in front of the pier. The tour was amazing and very informative! We had a great time exploring San Juan. Our guide was very accommodating and dropped us off at a great restaurant for lunch very close to the cruise ship terminal! This was the best way to see San Juan and learn so much about the beautiful place!

It was a good overview of Old Town; provided some interesting history and other information as we drove. Liked seeing some of the areas near our hotel that were off the main drag. Was a good private tour for the price, and was important to us that we had a hotel pickup.

This tour was perfect for our group. We got a nice driving tour of the city, along with pickup at the sea port and drop off at the airport. We always like to have experience with an authentically local guide, and Jesus is the real deal.

I can't say enough about Jesus!! He was so kind, professional, knowledgeable, fun, and engaging. He put us at ease from the moment we got into the car. He gave us a true picture into Puerto Rican history. He was also very flexible with the drop-off spots. The art was phenomenal and Jesus even knew some of the artist first hand. Jesus is incredibly knowledgeable in Puerto Rican history. We learned a lot about the historical sites we visited. Jesus was extremely accommodating and took us to spots that were very memorable and picture worthy. Transportation is included for certain areas but because we were located in an area outside of the pick up locations, Jesus provided us with transportation at a very reasonable cost. I highly recommend that you book this city tour with Jesus. You will have a memorable and worthwhile experience!

The driver had water for us and was very knowledgeable of the history of Puerto Rico. He even had google earth on tablet as visual for some of the historical sites we visited. We had designated stops to take pictures and stopped for juice popsicles which were quite the experience!!! The driver was personable and that makes a difference!!! He picked us up from hotel and dropped us off at the big mall (he gives some options on whether to return u to hotel or different location close to end of tour location)

We normally don’t like tours. But this tour was different. It was curated to our taste from the start. We loved that Jesus was a local that knew it’s unique details. He’s also personable. This tour was also kid friendly! Our son enjoyed the local food market and the tour of the murals.

Jesus was our personal guide. He was great with communicating when our cruise ship was in port. He was super knowledgeable of San Juan and the history of Puerto Rico. He took us all over and showed up lovely sights in the city. He even stopped at a farmer's market where we were able to buy some fresh mangos and empanadas. We were dying for some coffee so he was kind enough to stop at a cafe where we had some amazing espresso. We really enjoyed this city tour. It was 1 of 3 excursions during our cruise and this was our favorite. Wonderful.
