Driver/Guide will offer live commentary about the historic 500-year-old city and the importance of the fortifications, including Castillo San Felipe del Morro. Travelers will have the opportunity to get out, walk around and take pictures. Although, there's no time to visit the fort. Entrance fee to the fort is *Not* included.
Participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Afro Caribbean descent of our race by learning about the music, folklore and one of three geomorphological regions.
You'll have the opportunity to taste some of our finest authentic food. Lunch is at your expense. As we drive out you'll be able to see the local beaches such as Pozita de Pinones and Vacia Talega.
We'll be visiting Yokahu Observation Tower & La Coca Waterfall
At an elevation of 1, 476 feet (450 meters) above sea level, La Coca Falls is a spectacular waterfall! The waters of La Coca Falls drop 85 feet (26 meters) onto a huge rock formation at the bottom of the falls. This is an excellent spot to take photos.
Four types of the forest can be viewed from Yokahú Tower: Colorado (smooth to the south), Tabonuco (irregular surrounding with white-leaved Yagrumos), Palm (on the steep slopes) and Cloud Forest (on the ridges) are all visible along with the coastline and all the way to the Virgin Islands on a clear day (10 mile + view).
Travelers will be introduced to our history and our three ethnic races through Jose Buscaglia's "Altar de la Patria". You'll also learn how we became a US Territory and you'll have to opportunity to take pictures of the Presidential Monuments, Holocaust Memorial and our Memorial Wall.

Excellent day with Zoe! Learned about the rain forest, ecosystems, Puerto Rican culture and history, African culture in PR, music, government and more. Truly a day well spent. Zoe is one of the most knowledgeable tour guides I have ever had. She not only knows the history of Puerto Rico, but her background in biology played a key role in my enjoyment of the experience. She took some incredible candid photos for me that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I looked at several different experiences that included a tour of El Yunque and chose this specific one because of the price, the “sampler platter” (as Zoe explained it) of experiences, and the positive reviews. I wish I understood that the trip into El Yunque was only to the tower and waterfall. I thought I would get to actually go on a trail for a quick walk in the rainforest, which was disappointing, but that was on me for not looking back at the details before booking. I was getting the different options for experiences confused. I was also disappointed that we didn’t get to go in to the cave. It was absolutely no fault of Zoe’s that the site was closed to the public for repairs, but until it is reopened to the public, maybe take it off as a highlighted visit. Viewing from behind a locked gate just isn’t the same being able to walk in, experience, and take pictures. My friend and I only had one other couple with us on this tour, so it was a very personalized experience. The couple was older and needed assistance walking, and Zoe was so sweet and accommodating to them. This experience is best for those who want a little taste of Puerto Rico, an affordable experience, those with mobility issues, and for all ages.

Tour was really a taste of PR! Went to lots of sites, with a short amount of time at each. Andrea was so informative and knowledgeable and energetic. I do wish there were times listed on the itinerary as we had lunch fairly late and didnt bring a ton of snacks :) There were also a market that having cash would've been useful - good to let people know! Dear Air France Customer Relations Team, I am writing to you with a very grateful heart following my experience with Air France at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport on 11 September 2026. I have travelled extensively throughout the world, and I regularly travel Business Class. Over the years, I have experienced many wonderful people and many different levels of service. However, every once in a while, someone comes along whose kindness touches you on a much deeper level. For me, that person was Madame Sophie in the Air France Lounge at CDG. Her service was not simply exceptional it was genuinely heartfelt. I was travelling with a friend who had never travelled before, and Madame Sophie immediately sensed that she needed a little extra reassurance and guidance. Without hesitation, she took my friend under her wing. She made her feel safe, welcomed and cared for, patiently helping her through the experience with such warmth and compassion. What touched me most was that her kindness felt completely genuine. It was not simply someone doing their job; it was one human being showing another human being care, patience and generosity of spirit. Sometimes, the smallest acts of kindness can completely change someone's experience. Madame Sophie did exactly that. For someone travelling for the first time, an airport and international journey can feel overwhelming. Because of Madame Sophie, my friend felt reassured and looked after. That is something I will remember for a very long time. I believe people like Madame Sophie are the heart and soul of an organisation. They are the people who quietly create memories, restore faith in human kindness and make passengers feel that they truly matter. I would therefore be deeply grateful if Air France would recognise Madame Sophie formally and ensure that her managers know just how extraordinary her service was. She deserves to know that her kindness did not go unnoticed and that it made a genuine difference to two passengers that day. I would also like to be honest that not every part of our journey was as positive. Our experience at the gate was disappointing, and I was particularly concerned about having paid additional charges for seats and baggage on two occasions, despite travelling Business Class and being a frequent Business Class traveller. I would appreciate it if Air France could also review these charges and clarify why they were applied. However, I do not want those concerns to take away from the reason I am writing. I am writing primarily to say thank you. Thank you to Madame Sophie for her extraordinary kindness, her patience, her warmth and the beautiful way in which she cared for my friend. In a world where travel can sometimes feel impersonal, she reminded us that genuine human kindness still has the power to transform an experience. Madame Sophie is a wonderful ambassador for Air France. Her service went above and beyond, and I sincerely hope that her exceptional qualities are recognised and celebrated within your organisation. Our driver and tour guide was Alicia. She was pure perfection from start to finish. She was communicative from the moment we booked the tour, and all throughout the experience. She provided us with an in depth historical narrative of the island as we visited each site. She was fun, engaging and made sure each of us truly enjoyed each stop. She's also quite a phenomenal photographer and helped capture some wonderful family photos that we will cherish. If you want your tour to be conducted by someone who has a true love for their home, and learn some history along the way, you will love this tour. I have booked other more expensive tours in the past and did not get a fraction from those as I did with Alicia. The bus was roomy and air conditioned. The early start allowed for us to plan an evening event with enough time to rest in between. Each stop was well timed. And my son finally stopped looking at his phone to enjoy the scenery around him. My elderly mother was also able to engage and enjoy herself. I plan to recommend this excursion to everyone.
I went on the tour while pregnant and it was amazing! our tour guide Alicia was very knowledgeable and cared for our wellbeing. We got to learn a lot about Puerto Rico, see the main touristic points, and she picked us up at our hotel.

We met Ali at the end of the cruise ship terminal and hopped on an air conditioned Van with the tour guide Andrea. Andrea's knowledge of the island and it's culture is phenomenal! She made learning about the island fun. She did an amazing job! There was plenty of time to stop and take pic in every location. There are no actual beach stops so you don't have to worry about getting back on the bus wet. The tour started around 930ish and ended around 4pm.

From the very beginning, I honestly felt like I was visiting one of my best friends and she was showing me around her hometown. Zoe was so warm, personable, and knowledgeable. At one point, I even asked her if she had studied history because she shared such a tremendous amount of Puerto Rican history, but in a way that was fun, interesting, and never felt like a lecture. One of my absolute favorite parts of the experience was stopping at a roadside kiosk and trying authentic Puerto Rican food. Zoe took the time to explain what each item was and helped us make the perfect selections. That experience alone was unforgettable! I would highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Puerto Rico. Zoe truly made us feel welcomed, informed, and like we were experiencing the island with a friend rather than simply taking a tour. We had an amazing time!

The tour guide Zoe, was a real treat. She’s was upbeat, knowledgeable, and professional. The company picked me up and dropped me off at my lodging area. The tour is excellent for those who want to explore a lot of the island in a short amount of time. The tour gives an high level overview of important sites and features that you can dive into deeper at a later time. This tour allows you to sample a little bit of everything! 10/10 i would recommend! The long negative is the tour stated it ends at 1:15 but we got back at 3:10. Keep this in mind if you plan something after the tour.
