Icacos Island Luxury Sailing Catamaran All Inclusive Tour

this is a kid and an adult friendly excursion, and it’s PERECT. the staff was perfect and the experience was so much fun, i would do this 1000 times over and over! definitely coming back.

Everything about this experience was 100/10! The Captain and Crew were very hospitable from start to finish. Every person on our tour had such a good time! From the snorkeling when you first get there, the set up of all the amenities, the lunch, and of course the drinks! SO much fun and relaxing!

We had such an amazing time. The crew was amazing. Lunch was delicious with some of the best authentic Puerto Rican food we’ve had since our trip the waterslide was so fun. The drinks was amazing. The vibes were there we met so many new people made so many new connections 100% recommend to anyone the money is worth it especially if you’re going with a couple you’ll meet so many different couples and just mingle 10 out of 10 recommend to anyone

very fun experience if you want to try something new. you get to go to an island, they feed you lunch and the open bar is awesome. the crew was super fun too. definitely would recommend if it’s your first time in puerto rico!!! we were staying in san juan though so it was about an hour drive & waking up at 5am definitely was not fun but it was worth it in the end and you get back by 2pm so 3pm if you uber and still have time to do things in the afternoon

Here is the scoop. If they had not advertised it as “snorkeling“ it would’ve been a much better situation. If they had said “sailing to icacos island and spend the day relaxing, floating, and drinking” then that would’ve been more accurate. We just heard so many people complaining that it wasn’t really snorkeling. And, we brought our own snorkeling gear, and when we tried to go out a bit further to snorkel they said we could not go past the ropes. So basically we saw zero fish. Zero turtles. Zero coral. Nada. All that said, so many other elements were good. But a lot of people were complaining about false advertising. They also would not let us explore the island. I have no idea why. Every time we tried to go to the island they would tell us we could not walk around on it. With no explanation. It was rather odd. The food was excellent. Especially the sauces. The pick up was perfect. And easy. The boat itself was clean and well staffed. The drinks were plentiful and boozy. The boat staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The slide was a lot of fun. The swing was nice. They had lots of floats to play with. So, if they had billed this as a different excursion, highlighting the floats and the booze and swimming in crystal Clear water, then that would have been very different. But… We have lived on boats. And we are accustomed to Crystal Clear water and so we thought that this would be more of an active excursion with snorkeling and that we would have the opportunity to go on the island. A lot of people were thrilled with the opportunity to be able to swim in such pretty water all day, but again, several people were saying that they were bored, because they thought that we would be snorkeling or going to another location. So if they could update their information to say that we will be stopping outside of an island all day and just floating and drinking, that would be more accurate!

We booked this trip with the expectation it’d be more “Luxury” it was basic straightforward boat ride to the island . Not much excitement from the staff, they were fine just serious. The only included drink was rum punch fyi and they don’t offer you anything upon arrival and don’t serve till “after snorkeling” too many rules and then the inconvenience of being asked to get up and meet in the central part of boat before exit for a tip announcement was bizarre and slightly distasteful. The food was great though but wouldn’t recommend this tour for a girls trip.

What a memorable trip we had! Jonathan and El Capitan were our favorites, but the entire crew was absolutely amazing. The trips to and from Icacos were quick and easy. The crew was incredibly courteous and kept us hydrated. The food served for lunch was delicious. Lots of options to lounge, swim or explore the island once docked. Would highly recommend Sail Getaways!

Great excursion! We arrived around 8am to check in and there was already a line of people ahead of us, definitely heed their warnings about the check in time, they run a tight ship! The guys on the catamaran were friendly enough, bathroom was clean and well-stocked, there appeared to be a sufficient amount of life vests available. Lunch was good and the drinks were decent, best part was swimming once we docked, the water was crystal clear with gentle waves. Pretty chill experience overall, most of the attendees were adults between 20-50 with a handful of outliers.

Great day at Icacos with Getaway Sails. The tour ran smoothly. The boat was spacious, clean and safe. The staff was very nice and supportive. The food was delish. My only grievance is that the only alcoholic beverage offered was Rum. Any other alcoholic beverage offered was at an additional charge.

This was such a fun experience and definitely the highlight of our trip! The crew were so fun and entertaining and went above and beyond serving us drinks and food. I wouldn’t change anything about the trip. Music was great and the island was gorgeous! The food was surprisingly delicious and the drinks were great too.

Amazing experience!! The crew was so sweet and attentive. They really made sure we had everything we needed and checked in on us throughout the trip. They went above and beyond to make the experience special. I would highly recommend this tour and would absolutely do it again with the exact same crew!

I don’t often take the time to review, but this experience merits one. I came with friends looking for a relaxing experience with a twist. Here’s what I experienced with this company that was pretty unique: unlimited drinks with a great array of options both alcoholic and non alcoholic, authentic Puerto Rican cuisine, water slide, swings, snorkeling, sun bathing, lounging on a water tube and meeting so many wonderful people. The staff were so lovely and checked on us often. I can’t wait to come back again. Thank you to the lovely captain and staff.

Book!!!! This was the best experience. Put on your sunscreen and go lol. Staff were amazing. The beach was gorg. The food was worth it, had a full plate of real food, then they brought out a fruit platter and then passed out yummy ice cream cones. Well worth it, book!

What a perfect day! The attentive staff and beautiful new boat made it even more special, we felt very well taken care of, had such a fun day, lots of water toys, snorkeling, delicious lunch and beautiful crystal clear water, this company was wonderful and I’ll highly recommend 10/10!!!

Amazing crew, so attentive and fun! My son and I enjoyed it. Although, the salt was a bit much we did get to see some beautiful and colorful fish. The authentic Puerto Rican was delicious and the drinks were on point! Thank you, he loves PR!

Best experience, my daughter and I went on this catamaran tour, it was really nice and beautiful time, the vessel itself is clear, with clear instructions, good drinks food and fruits in a regular interval, we started at 8.45 am and 30 mins to reach icacos Did 30 mins snorkel , not much marine life though, but enjoyed the beach itself with the swing , mat and the bean bags .. crew was great , made sure we were all ok, music was fun ..I am a non swimmer , they took care of me well too. If you will get sea sick or motion sick take some medicine

Sail Getaway was the perfect excursion to enjoy Icacos. I choose this company over the other due to the lunch variety that was served. All the workers made you feel like family. I had a great time. GREAT FOOD, GREAT STAFF, GREAT DRINKS AND GREAT VIBES!

It's a nice way to experience one of the beaches off the coast of Fajardo without worrying about food and drinks or logistics… The snorkeling was very basic, and we didn't get to see much since it was done right at the beach, but in general it was a great overall excursion. The captain and crew were very helpful and attentive to everyone's needs. We all enjoyed it!

First off, I am still dreaming of how good that food was on this catamaran! Everything from the service to the drink to the food was AMAZING! The drinks were also yum and one of the servers would bring us drinks while we relaxed in the water. There is enough space on the boat to be intimate with your group + mingle with the parties in the area. There were personal floaties and other water floaties for anyone that can’t swim; or just wants to sun bathe in the water. The captain also plays a mixed playlist. Would do this again 1000%!!

Staff was amazing. They were bringing drinks out to people on the beach and who were swimming around. The floats were great. The snorkeling is underwhelming, but that’s really not why you’re there. The food was surprisingly good, especially the Caribbean sauces on top of the garlic chicken. Great way to spend some time soak up some sun and have beautiful swimming and beaches to enjoy

The handsome captain and crew were attentive and professional, with Captain Jay personally taking the time to ensure we were good, safe, and having the best time. The music was 10/10 - a curated mix of reggae and reggaeton that set the perfect "island time" mood, and the VIP birthday shout-out for my daughter was the ultimate touch...she felt super special!👑🎶 Now, for the food—the real test! As a family of foodies and Caribbeans (shout out to our Bajan🇧🇧, Trini 🇹🇹, and Guyanese 🇬🇾 roots!) we know quality, flavorful food. Honestly, the Rice & Peas were the best we’ve ever had- and coming from our community, that is the highest praise! Can't say enough about this experience. Would go back to PR just to do this again. Staff was amazing, super friendly and helpful. Food was amazing, drinks were delicious. All the activities were fun and the island is gorgeous. Was a bit worried due to so many people on the bus to get on the boat. Did not matter, plenty of room on the boat, never felt smothered and could go anywhere you wanted on the boat. Nice shade underneath was appreciated. I give it all the stars. Don't hesitate!!!

You won’t regret this trip! Me & my husband had a BLAST! The captain and crew were so kind, knowledgeable and hospitable! The booking includes unlimited drinks, lunch and fruit. The island was beautiful & relaxing and even though there were 50 people on our trip the boat never felt over crowded. There were kids on the trip who had fun too& I will definitely bring my son next time. WHEN (not if) we come back to PR we will book this trip again! 100% recommend!

Such a great experience, the crew was the best. It was the best part of our trip. The lunch was good and filling after the drinks. The only thing is I got crazy sunburned, make sure you bring sunscreen!

This was a great excursion - staff were very professional and service was great. It does only stop at the one island and remains there the entire time, so if you're looking to break it up a little, go to different locations, or just have more time sailing on the catamaran, I might suggest another one. This one is pretty much sail to the island, stay there for 4 hours, and sail back - very much a party/spring break vibe.

We loved this trip. We traveled as a family of five with ages ranging from 6-40. Everyone on the crew checked in with us to see if we needed anything throughout our time with them. The boat was immaculately clean and easy to navigate. There was plenty of seating and it never felt crowded. There was a lot of communication prior to the excursion, confirming what you needed to bring and also confirming arrival time and pertinent details. We unfortunately could not go to Icacos due to weather but the trip was enjoyable nevertheless. I would definitely use this company in the future.

We had an amazing time on this tour! We traveled with 3 kids ages 5-11 and 2 adults and all of us had the best time ever. The captain and crew were great. The beach was unbelievable and the food was wonderful. Our kids said this was the best day of our entire vacation!

We had an awesome time! The crew took care of our family well. My four year old son was able to participate in all activities. His favorite was hanging out with a crew member, learning about blue needle fish. He shared his polarized sunglasses with my son so he can get a better view of the fish. I also had two teenagers and they loved it as well.

I had a very frustrating experience with this tour company. They cancelled my booking last minute due to low bookings and then tried to move me onto a different tour that costs about half the price of what I originally paid. Since that wasn’t what I booked, I declined and rebooked with another company. After that, they attempted to refuse my refund. It only got resolved after Viator stepped in- the Viator representative confirmed that I was absolutely entitled to a full refund, yet the tour operator still tried to push back and deny it. Overall, this felt very unprofessional and misleading. Cancelling due to low attendance is one thing, but trying to downgrade customers and then refuse a refund is not acceptable.
