Half-day Tour: El Yunque Rainforest And Waterslide Adventure

The El Yunque hike was the highlight of our trip to Puerto Rico. Our guides Dani and Rene were fantastic: friendly, fun and always looking out for the group. The cliff jumping was a total thrill, and sliding down the natural waterslide was so much fun we wanted to do it again and again. We also loved all the plant facts Rene shared along the way. He made the rainforest come alive and we learned so much about what grows there. A perfect mix of adventure and nature. Huge thanks to Dani and Rene, highly recommend!

The event was very fun and I learned interesting facts about El Yunque National Forest. Jamilex Cuevas was very knowledgeable about the growth of Rainforest plants and trees. Amauri Guzman kept the experience alive with his humor and quick wit. Both guides made sure that we had a good time in a safe manner.

Jamilex And Amauri were both very friendly and accommodating! I was scared to do the rope swing but their friendly personalities and persuasion is what I needed! The rainforest was beautiful, and the fruit was absolutely delicious! Really recommend!

Amauri and Jami were fantastic. Friendly and fun and teaching us along the way. Such a delight to hike and climb and rope swing into the pool below the waterfall!!!

The tour with Amauri was a lot of fun! He showed some interesting trees, properly explained how to safely slide and we had a great time!

We were with Jamí and we had a wonderful time! She was very knowledgeable about the rainforest and helpful in the more difficult areas of the terrain. The entire activity was very friendly for non-swimmers/weak swimmers. All the water activities are optional but WONDERFUL. I highly encourage anyone thinking about this doing this tour to book immediately

Excellent value and adventure

Amauri and Renee were absolutely amazing!!! We did not know what to expect since we booked last minute but it was a five star experience!! I highly recommend this excursion. It doesn’t get any better than sliding down waterfalls in the rainforest and jumping off of rope swings!!

What an experience!! This really took all day - 12 hours including pick up and drop off and it was incredible and physically taxing in a good way. We saw some breathtaking sights, connected with nature and pushed ourselves and we are very proud to say that we did it! We came out wet and muddy but happy and fulfilled. Our group was a good size, and small enough we could always very easily get the attention of one of our many guides. Special shout out to René, Bradley and Luis who took care of keeping us safe, and they even took pictures of us as we couldn’t have our phones with us, and gave us snacks as well. Definitely worth it but not for the faint of heart or for the people who are not fit.

Jami and Amauri were the absolute best tour guides! They explained some of the biodiversity of the rainforest, and made every step of the way exciting and fun!!! The cliff jump, rock slide and rope swing will forever be one of our favorite memories! Our group was also an amazing size, not being to large that you weren’t able to really get to know everyone else! And don’t get me started on the fruit that Amauri cut for everyone to eat! Absolutely amazing! This will forever be one of our favorite parts of our Honeymoon!

Great experience and worth the money! A must to do. You get to do hiking, cliff jumping, a rope swing, a water slide, all guided so you feel safe.

This definitely was a highlight of our visit to Puerto Rico .treated very special throughout the day. Provided fresh fruit and organic snacks , which I was thrilled about. The jungle is fascinating and the water was crisp..it is a relatively easy hike. I'm 70 and my husband is 75 and we were able to do it easily. There is an opportunity to do a harder hike and slide down a waterfall. I opted not to do this, but my family thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend

Absolutely amazing experience, the guides are funny and helpful. Although we lost a few people on the way, it was still very nice.

We had a great time with our guides Jean and Amauri. They gave us some fun facts along the hike to the water, and gave us tips to make it easier to cling to the slides and jumps. We had a great time with them!

From pick up to drop off, everything was Land and seamless. All the times at each staff were perfect. All the safety equipment was provided, and they went above and beyond together to our companies that we noticed out there. Jamilex and Amauri were very fun and knowledgeable guides. Definitely recommend for families.

Amauri and Felisnys did a great job on the tour. It was great to be able to go without cameras and water bottles and have all of her needs taken care of and get great pictures without having to carry things. The snacks were spectacular and artfully arranged, greatly appreciated them.

We really enjoyed the experience, we thought the time in the river was great, enjoyed sliding down the waterfall slide, jumping into pools… Everything was fabulous. The only thing we would recommend, would be more details given prior to the experience. We didn’t know what to expect regarding when we would get wet, how wet, if we should change our clothes, all of those things wereally didn’t know what to think, and I would say we brought too many items based upon a lack of understanding. Not a big deal it didn’t detract from the experience, but it would make the experience better by not having prepared as much while on vacation.

Felianys and Amauri are the best guides for our trip. We could see a few other groups out on a tour and our just seem better even one ladies opt us to ask what company we were with. Also, they care about safety and we all had helmets and life jackets. You got to do a few hands-on activities with some of the plants on the way to the water activities. Also, the gentleman guy was super super funny though that provided an even better entertaining experience.100/10

I highly recommend this! Waterfall slide cliff jump and rope jump was so much fun! Take as little things with you as possible. Tour guide can hold your phone, keys, etc. Jamie our tour guide was great and very knowledgeable.

We just did our tour while we were on a family vacation in Luquillo, Puerto Rico. Our tour guides, Jamilex and EZ, were absolutely incredible! On our easy walk to the water, they shared a lot about the plants in PR. Once we got to the water was where the adventure truly began! I was worried about how strenuous it would be. You had to be able to lift your knees up to your stomach as well as lift your body weight with your arms. This was because there were a lot of slippery rocks we had to climb up by lifting one leg up and boosting/pulling yourself up by your arms. They were phenomenal tour guides because they would literally point to the spots where you place your feet and explain exactly how to climb it safely. They took all the photos and videos for us as well so we didn't worry about bringing our phones. I wore hiking books which ended up getting soaked but make the hike much easier for me and they dried out later! They even offered to help those who didn't know how to swim so that they could still enjoy the fun! We had fresh fruit from a local stand where you meet. It was well worth it and I'd highly recommend doing this tour if you're visiting!

This was hands down one of our favorite things to do in Puerto Rico. My husband and I took our 5 kids and everyone had a great time. The tour guides were amazing!

Had an amazing time with Amauri and Yame! I would recommend booking this tour over all the other ones. Our group was small, and Amauri and Yame were good natured, patient and informative. Having helmets for the water slide made me feel safe…cause who needs a head injury on vacation? It was a super chill tour and totally worth the money. With that being said, be ready to hike!
