Jerry was more like a family member than a tour guide. Very knowledgeable, courteous and very respectful. He lives there so he definitely knows the area, history and the culture of this beautiful island of Puerto Rico. My wife and I were very pleased and would love to meet him again for the other tours he may offer. Very recommended!!! Thank you Jerry! Bye for now Julio and Jackie.

Manuel our driver and guide was quite a gentlemen as he traveled the roads providing historical fun facts regarding Puerto Rico. Then off toi a native detectable lunch venue where we ate and enjoyed conversation about our excursion.
We booked Jerry’s Adventures (Cultural Tour of Puerto Rico) based upon several friends recommendations and it did not disappoint. There were 8 of us and it was a fun day of visiting multiple parts of the island (Old San Juan, historical sights, parks and mountains with awesome views and a cultural Puerto Rican meal). We had a lot of opportunities to ask questions and take some great photos. Manual was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and accommodating. If you want to have a quick history lesson about Puerto Rico, don’t miss this tour.
Outstanding Tour! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jerry and his Staff are beautiful! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ knowledge of Puerto Rico’s Culture Impressive!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Effectient and Timely! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Manuel was superb! Excellent tour in spite of rain. Lunch stop was very good… too much food :-) Highly recommend. Learned alit about PR history!!
Awful excursion. First off my clients, a party of 6 ranging of ages 82, 79, 60’s and upper 50’s. 3 handicapped. The van was not what was expected, beat up, no air conditioning, torn seats, couldn’t see out of the windows , basically not maintained, smelt due to wet life jackets left in the back on the seats, which my client put on the floor to sit, broken ice chest on the seats, case of water on the seats, plus most of the waters were opened when one of my guest was passing them out. Francisco the driver was nice but was not helpful nor personable. No step stool offered until the end of the excursion. My guests felt rushed felt like did not see what others reported who had taken this excursion. The lunch stop was not what they had expected and they were being pushed to buy the food, where some were not hungry or wanted to share. This was an option if you wanted to buy. Overall a very unpleasant experience for the price. The excursion was long being it was hot and uncomfortable van, hard to get in and out.
Opportunity to see and learn about the real Puerto Rico. Took mountain roads , saw many other areas and saw old San Juan as well. Our guide, Francesco gave us many insights into both the daily lives of Puerto Rican citizens and historical events that shaped what Puerto Rico is today. A sampler lunch of Puerto Rican dishes was delicious (cost not included). Not many stops. Mostly a driving tour. Three stops including lunch. There was a huge traffic jam day of our tour because of a local event so we were a bit delayed getting started. However, Francesco kept us updated frequently. Communication was Excellent. It was what we were looking for and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Manuel made our tour amazing! My husband, granddaughter, and I took this tour November, 2025. We drove around the metro and learned interesting facts about Puerto Rico. We stopped at a beach across from Old San Juan where we saw iguanas. We drove up in the mountains to a scenic viewpoint. We ate authentic Puerto Rican food at a restaurant. Manuel even made a song for us about our trip. Small group tour. Laid back.
Jerry our driver & guide was excellent. He gave us a knowledgeable breakdown of SJ’s history. Also well as a really informative view of life as a resident. The views from the mountains were spectacular. He was very friendly, personable, happy to stop anywhere we wanted to and answer our questions. We have no hesitation in recommending him to others.
Jerry was excellent, very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. We felt we gained some real insights into this beautiful country. Not only its history but everyday life.
Great overview of the island. Lunch was delicious and plentiful. Manuel was a great guide, very informative and entertaining. His custom song about the tour and passengers was amazing!
Our tour guide, Manuel, was awesome. He was a great host, very knowledgeable, and enjoys sharing his beloved islands history and culture. This tour is a must to get a taste of PR beyond San Juan. Well worth it.
Informative, hilarious, laid back and describes Manual and Jesus. Our group was small which made it even better. Great song at end of trip.
Our tour guide was Mr Manuel and Jesus. Manuel makes it a lot of fun. Pay attention to the history lessons because he has a surprise in store for you afterwards. I was looking forward to food outside of the tourist areas, simpler home cooked style, and I was not disappointed with his restaurant of choice. Highly recommend this tour with Mr Manuel.
Manual was very enlightening, knowledgeable, entertaining and enjoyable to be around. We all totally enjoyed him. He is a great asset to your company. I would highly recommend him as a tour guide to any other tourist. I would definitely request him again. If and when I return to Puerto Rico I would request him again. Thank him so much for an enjoyable tour and experience. Manuel made a special audio of the three of us that we will continue to listen and enjoy long after we have left the island
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Manual, our guide, was knowledgeable about Puerto Rico's history and presented it well. With just my siblings and me in the group, the experience felt special. The song he shared with us was a highlight, and our families noticed how much fun we were having. The tour was worth every penny.
Manuel was awesome, he was on time, knowledgeable, friendly, engaging , very good driver, I will highly recommend him to all my friends and relatives.
Historically very interesting , and the town & outlying areas are so beautiful & photogenic! Our guide Manuel was fun & very informative. We enjoyed our morning with him very much🤩
Francisco was wonderful and knowledgeable. Learned a lot about the history of Puerto Rico and the lay out of the city. Food stops on the tour were excellent, too.
Francesco was a great tour guide! He was very knowledgable about the history of San Juan and Puerto Rico. We learned so much about the area that we wouldn't have known otherwise. Especially loved the drive into the mountains and stopping at the lookout point! We visited a wonderful bakery and then an authentic Puerto Rican restaurant with large portions for lunch.
Manuel was our guide. He was amazing, very knowledgeable of the history and answered my never ending questions. Very friendly, I definitely recommend.
I thought I had reviewed this right after the tour, but it keeps popping up. This was one of the most enjoyable things we did in Puerto Rico. Our guide even took us to a local restaurant (we paid of course) to eat traditional Puerto Rican food.
Manuel was our guide he was very informative and knowledgeable, friendly. This was our first time here to the beautiful island and Manuel made us feel at home. We have a wonderful time.. thank you and God Bless you Manuel❤️
We had such an amazing time and everything was wonderful. Francisco was super knowledgeable and we definitely enjoyed every minute of the day.
This was a wonderful way to get to know Puerto Rico’s people & culture! Jerry was extremely pleasant & knowledgeable. My wife & I highly recommend the tour!
Just got done having a great tour with Manuel! We got to see a lot of beautiful places around PR and were in complete awe of how beautiful it is. Manuel was energetic and very knowledgeable of the history of this beautiful place. He allowed us time to get out of the van to take pictures. We sang our lungs out in the way back to our hotel. I cannot thank him enough for this beautiful adventure.
The tour was very nice. Jerry is funny, informative, and has positive vibes. He helped us take pictures of whatever we wanted and provided water and air conditioning in the van.
We did the buggy Excursion. We also went to some caves bat caves. The walk was a bit much for my mum but I went. Our tour guide sorry forgot his name was amazing. The buggy ride was a lot of fun a little slow in places would have liked to go a little faster. A lot of road driving. Had not rain for a few days so the puddles were few and far between. I like muddy puddles.
So happy I booked with Jerry’s Adventures. Manuel was our tour guide on our trip to the center of Puerto Rico. Not only did I learn even more about my rich history, but Manuel and Jerry are funny and kind people. It was such a special trip. I’ve never been on a better tour. The views from the mountains of Guaynabo were breathtaking!
This was a very nice paced tour. Learned so much from our wonderful guide Manuel. Great views from the mountains and a wonderful Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 lunch.
The best tour. The guide is enthusiastic knowledgeable and funny. We all had a great time and gained a lot of knowledge about Puerto Rico culture.
Was really Informative and interesting would recommend this tour. He knew a lot of history. Very funny too.
This was a great way to see San Juan and some of the surrounding communities. Our tour guide Manuel was so knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend this tour.
Manuel is a great guide....mixing cultural history with humor. 12 person tour and we all felt like friends in a short amount of time. Thank you for a memorable afternoon.
This was a great way to explore San Juan. Our tour guide Manuel was so knowledgeable and friendly. He explained all of the history of Puerto Rico in an interesting way! We went up into the mountains and then ate a delicious lunch at a small family restaurant. I highly recommend Jerry’s Adventures and our guide Manuel.
Jerry was excellent! He was professional and knowledgeable, personable and engaging, and he kept us laughing all day. He showed us the important sites around San Juan, took us where the locals go to eat BBQ and drink coffee, and taught us spanish words and phrases all along the way. Jerry made the tour worth every cent!

Communication with Jerry was great from even before the booking. I reached out to him to inquire about the tour. We discussed what my family wanted to do and see. Jerry suggested what tours would be a good fit. I told him where our AirBNB was located and would be able to pick us up from there. Manuel was our guide. The Cultural Tour gave us the highlights of Old San Juan and took us up into the mountains to see the rainforest. Manuel was willing to stop at any area that we wanted to explore more or get pictures up. There was no rushing and the tour was what we wanted it to be. We had lunch at a local restaurant and the ethnic PR food was delicious. There was a total of 9 of us. Manuel made the driving in the van with total strangers fun. There was singing, trivia questions about PR and lots of van honking celebrating. We had a great time and would highly recommend.
Manuel was very personable and took us on a great tour. We learned a lot about the history of Puerto Rico
We were looking for a limited mobility adventure to include history and culture/countryside. This tour was perfect. It includes a drive through town and through the countryside, with stops at some interesting places, unique from any other tour we’ve found. Jerry was fantastic, extremely knowledgeable about his country, history, geography, past and present. I couldn’t recommend this tour more.
It is the real deal. I saw the city where my grandmother was born. For me (and my son) the was a family heritage journey. My son's padrinos are also from there. This was a huge thrill for us. He was knowledgeable; even showing and letting the group (others who were regular tourists) experience the tradition of real authentic food and "cafecito". That was great!
This is an excellent tour! Mr Jerry was a kind, energetic, informed and gracious host and we learned so much about Puerto Rico (love!). We highly recommend and we would give more than five stars if we could!
Fantastic! We just arrived in San Juan the night before. This was the perfect tour for us to get to know the history and area in and outside of Old San Juan. Jerry, owner and guide is knowledgeable, fun and completely at ease (with us and the driving). If you are wondering if you should take 5 hours out of your vacation for one tour. This is worth it!
Manuel was a scholar and a gentleman! Very insightful and pleasant. His tour was persoable, exclusive and interactive. Enjoy!
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Manuel was excellent! He provided information about the history of Puerto Rico that was very interesting. He was also flexible with the time that we needed to take photos and explore the sites that we visited. The tour ended with a truly memorable serenade about those of us who were on the tour! It was a wonderful and memorable half day.
Jerry provides an enthusiastic and highly personal insight into his life and home on Puerto Rico, along with the history of its main city San Juan. In a small group trip, he takes in sights of Old San Juan, its immediate surroundings and into the foothills of the central mountain range. You’ll get a feel for daily life off the tourist track and what the island’s relationship with the USA entails. Great visit to a genuine Puerto Rican family run “fast food” place and finishing with pastry and coffee in an authentic cafe. Highly enjoyable
If there were a 10 star option, I would give Jerry that. Jerry’s tour, and knowledge of Puerto Rico - ancient historical, 18-19th century, to contemporary history was incredible. His tour is meticulously planned to give a view of nearby areas, and then high into the mountains. The stops are planned for beauty, context, good Puerto Rican food, and coffee. We feel we can leave PR now, feeling like we have a good grasp of the social, political and cultural affairs of the country. Or as much as an ‘outsider gringo’ can have. Truly. Just go on this tour!
We were picked up from our cruise ship within 5 minutes of contacting Manuel. He proceeded to give us a wonderful 5 hour tour of San Juan and surrounding mountain region. He was very informative and friendly. He stopped whenever we asked for pictures and suggested a few stops of his own. We stopped for an authentic lunch and at a stupendous bakery. To top it off Manuel also created an AI generated song about our day. Top notch tour.
I toured with Manuel and let me tell you…he was the host with the most! He was informative, knowledgeable, friendly, engaging and just so cool to hang with. The tour was well worth the money and even more. I learned so, so much! I am already planning another trip and will book with Jerry and Manuel again!
This is one of the best tours I've ever taken. Jerry is personable and he provides information about Puerto Rico from a local perspective. We made stops at a wonderful restaurant and enjoyed a sample of typical Puerto Rican fare (yummy!), then visited a local coffee shop up toward the mountains which was also wonderful.
