Itinerary
Your initial hike is an approximate 30-minute journey on a river-wading and rock-scaling path to the river. This area is surrounded by bamboo trees, rainforest flowers, and many other beautiful plants. We will make a stop to visit a collecting pool that forms at the base of a small waterfall by the river. Here you will have the opportunity to swim in its crystal clear waters or jump from a rope and enjoy the different tones of its deep pools. A glimpse at the first waterfall is great for picture opportunities! The adventure finishes in another pool area, its best-kept secret. After a few minutes of hiking and rock climbing (more advanced), arrive at a natural river where you can swim, cliff jump, and enjoy the natural water slides as many times as you would like! After the tour ends we will stop at a local restaurant for a late lunch (food cost not included), before returning to San Juan or your initial meeting point. This stop will take from 1 to 1.5 hours.

This was a fun way to spend the day. I would recommend water shoes, my hiking sandals were too slippery and the folks who wore sneakers said it was soggy. Aside from that it was cool and our tour guide Jason was friendly and knowledgeable.
The event got cancelled due to too few registrants, which is understandable. However, it's a week later now and I did not receive a refund, which is unacceptable. Moreover, it is not possible to contact the operator (tried e-mail, phone, whatsapp, and the messaging platform on their site, which they did all use to contact me!) Looks like a great tour, but be ready to accept your loss in case it gets canceled!
Jason was the best! He was patient, fun, and very knowledgeable about the rainforest. The group was a perfect size (12). We had a great time and would 10/10 book again. Pick up and drop off was seamless.
This was such an amazing experience! The tour guides, Jason & Elias were super helpful, helping you get across the more difficult terrain. They take pictures and videos of everyone in the group doing different activities, so we never had to worry about taking our own photos. The trail was difficult, with a lot of rock climbing but it was very worth it in the end!
Awesome time on the rainforest hike. Your guides were great and knowledgeable. Fun to cliff jump, rope swing and natural slide.
Luis and Julian were exceptional guides!! They were very knowledgeable and took very good care of us. This company provides helmets and floatation devices which were very much appreciated with our activities. Best of you are strong and agile. The stop on the way there served very good fresh fruit smoothies.
This was the BEST trip! Let me tell you i was a little unsure about booking this but don’t you worry it was fantastic! The guides were amazing, caring, and most of all became family! The pickup service was amazing, the bus was nice, and even with a little misunderstanding on my part they made it possible for me and my dad to get on the tour bus! Make sure you triple check the location!! The hike wasn’t to hard but there was quite a decent amount of climbing and drop offs. The entire trip felt unreal. The waterfall slide and cliff jumping was soooo much fun! The place we stopped at before was nice and had lots of options for snacks and souvenirs. The restaurant we stopped at after was delicious and was easily the best meal i’ve had all weak! All in all so much fun and I definitely recommend!
Very interesting petroglyphs and terrain around the caves. Be sure to follow instructions of all tour guides. They were knowledgeable and friendly.
We had so much fun! Jason and Elias, our guides, were so fun! You can tell they love their jobs. They brought the joy to the tour and were very attentive to the kids!
It was a fantastic trip and definitely worth it. Jason was awesome and very knowledgeable on Puerto Rican history and ecology, and kept the pace appropriate for varying skillsets. If you have experience hiking, it may make you antsy to have to wait for others at times, but it helps you slow down and appreciate the beauty of the rainforest. Prepare for 3 miles total of walking and mud mud mud. Wepa!
Adriana was the BEST tour guide. Energetic, encouraging, fun, and super knowledgeable about El Yunque. She really made it a special trip to a special place. Things to know: the hike is pretty challenging. Be ready to hike through mud (“embrace the mud!” as Adriana told us). It can be slippery. Then to get to the top, where the real fun begins (water slide and cliff jumping!), there’s some challenging rock climbs. But Adriana talked us through each section and made sure we all made it safely. Bring a change of clothes and another pair of shoes. Your shoes will be soaked. I’m glad I booked through Viator because of Adriana and the fact that Viator seemed to be the only group with helmets, which seemed like a good idea when sliding in the water down the face of a mountain! Great tour!
This was such a fun day in the Rainforest! Jason and Luis created such a fun vibe from the very beginning and by the time we reached the rainforest we were already "family." Loved all the activities--waterslide, rope swing, swimming, hiking. I would say it was a more difficult/dangerous hike than expected. Highly recommend good hiking shoes over water shoes! And take it easy on the rocky, slippery parts or you will regret it. But we came out no worse for wear and had a delightful time. A trip highlight for sure and it was definitely enhanced by our tour leaders. Thanks so much Jason and Luis!
Our guide Julian was hilarious and took great care even as it started to rain (which made this expirence so cool) and made sure to properly help us. He had everyone we passed cracking up and had a great spot for food. Honestly I'd do it again. Tell Pupi we said thank you!
Hubs and I were visiting Puerto Rico and had to to visit El Yunque. The price was very affordable, and the hotel pickup was a great bonus. Our guides, Jayson and Mitchell, were the coolest guys. Very knowledgeable and kind. They shared insights into the tropical rainforest and ensured everyone in our group felt comfortable doing the hike and water activities by regularly checking in with the members. Not being the best swimmers, but also not the worst lol, they helped us both feel safe in the water. I would DEF recommend this tour if you enjoy nature activities.
Very informative and exhilarating tour. If you’re in the area this is a must and it’s family friendly. Our tour guide was Jason, he was soo good, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I will definitely do this again
George was an incredible guide, he made the entire day so fun while also keeping our minds at ease for all of the water activities. I definitely felt very safe the whole time. The rainforest is beautiful and was so worth the adventure!
Jorge was amazing , he made me and my Girl feel great a lot of laughs and falls but it was a great experience . As a person that doesn’t like anything that’s not cement he made me feel safe in a rain forest !
Bespoke Tour- Hector was an AMAZING guide! Very informative, really funny but always safety conscious! Our tour started at 8:am with pick up at our hotel. It was very cool but challenging in some areas . Absolutely recommend sturdy footwear. We wore old sneakers. It is slippery and very rocky with some boulder climbing . Hestorcwas right there telling exactly where to put our foot and where to grab to pull ourselves up and so forth. I am 67 and pretty fit. There was no one close to my age . Don’t know why. Take the earliest hour tour possible. We were alone and it was beautiful. On our way out many , many groups were arriving . Lines of people (in the rain Forrest). Absolutely horrible for them. There are places where only one can pass at a time . We were taken to an amazing lunch (which you pay for separately ) afterward and we could change into our dry clothes. Read all material carefully . It’s a bit wilder than I thought but I loved it!
My husband and I had a blast on our excursion to El Yunque. Our tour guides, Felix, Elias, and Mitchell were the best! They made us feel safe by explaining how the tour would work, safety precautions, and how to have the most fun on our tour. We hiked through the rainforest and then climbed the rocks to do some cliff jumping, water sliding, and rope swinging. We had a great time and would recommend it to anyone who is physically able to climb rocks! It took a lot of effort and was slippery so you had to pay attention. Wear old sneakers and eat a good breakfast before going.
Our host Frankie was wonderful, the trip was great for me and my 2 sons ages 11 and 14. We felt safe and entertained the whole time.
What a great experience! My guides, Hector and George, were extremely knowledgeable about the plants and animals in the forest and explained their various uses and origins which was awesome to learn. They safely guided us to beautiful spots for cliff jumping and a volcanic rock slide. Definitely worth checking out!
For the second day of our honeymoon in PR, we could not have had a more wonderful experience with Jorge as our guide. Funny, kind and informative, he set the pace of our trip right away by calling our group “family.” While ensuring both the safe and exhilarating time for our group, it was clear that he was a leader among leaders of the tours in the El Yunque rainforest. We cannot think of how he could have done a better job. Even as we headed back to drop off points, he gave us a long talk on all the amazing things to see and experience across the islands of Puerto Rico. We would take another tour with Jorge (and Luis!) in a heartbeat.
There were 3 of us. 2 of us were older in our late 50s and a 22 year old. 1 non swimmer. The hike itself was muddy not too strenuous but you definitely needed balance and some strength and agility as you needed to climb over rocks. We all loved the adventure from beginning to end. Our tour guide Felix greeted us with his famous " chang, chang, chang!" He immediately made us all feel like familia. We had a life guard who had skills and dive in immediately when I told him I was a non swimmer. He could easily asses my skills and encouraged me to try things within my capacity. I loved the hike, the rock side and the jump. I always felt safe. We took an early morning tour 7:30 am. As the day went on you could see the crowds increase. Every tour guide we encountered greeted us and encouraged us along the way. Truly a fun experience.
Great day with Felix and crew. Lots of fun, host were awesome kept us smiling all day. Hike was just challenging enough, water activities were super fun and lunch was great!
Our group’s most memorable moment were sliding down the rock slides. Worried it was going to hurt but it didn’t LOL. Great experience from beginning to end!
Adriana and Jay were exceptional guides. El Yunque was beautiful. The experiences provided were once in a lifetime. I highly recommend this tour, especially with Adriana and Jay.Do
It was sooooo fun. Our tour guide was Zoè and she was absolutely amazing. She gave us history about the rainforest, the trees, plants, and the wildlife. She made sure we were all okay because we kept slipping and falling. She help us up and down the rocks. She even took videos for all of us and sent it to our phones. She was very engaging. When I come back, I hope to have her again. She was an amazing tour guide and she made the experience worth while. Thank you Zoè :) -Jenai
Julian and Elias were great guides! They know the rainforest and the surrounding area so well. They are funny, helpful, informative, and kind. We had a lot of fun hiking, scrambling, swimming, cliff-jumping, and sliding down a natural water slide.
This was our second trip to El Yunque with Bespoke. The whole family had a fantastic time hiking and getting into the water. The guides were great and when my water shoes fell apart along the hike, Hector took his shoes off and gave them to me for the rest of the tour.
Very well organized trip. Have a lot of importance to safety and adventure at the same time. George was our guide and Luis the driver. Shout out to both of them for making this hike safe and fun.
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful !!!!! Jason the tour guide was great. The hike was bad and the at the end it was worth every step. Definitely highly recommended.
Adri was the best!! Took care of our group so well! She had such an amazing attitude and cared about our safety. She took pictures and videos for us and offered great recommendations for food after.
Fun excursion! The kids (14 and 12) had a great time and were engaged throughout the trip. Highly recommend!
Jorge, Elias, and Cristian were great. I would definitely recommend. It was an amazing experience. Thank you guys!
We went on the bespoke 8-hour full day tour to the el Yunque rainforest. Our tour guide was George. Christian drove the bus and Mitchell (Tarzan) was our lifeguard. It was an adventure! We hiked a lot thru mud (they said it was a dry time for the rainforest) and hills and climbed a bunch of rocks. George had. A (good) surprise for our ‘family’ around each corner. The men helped all of the hikers get thru the hard parts- and pulled you up if you got stuck. This was a full body workout amid the beautiful jungle views. Best to plan a chill evening after this adventure. Make sure you wear sneakers or hiking boots. Would 100% go again. This tour seems better than the other tour groups we saw- and safer- you were required to wear life jackets and helmets. Tour guides seemed to be more on point. We stopped at a beautiful beach on the way back for a late lunch (around 3). Lots of places for food options- not all places took cards so take some cash.
It was awesome. I felt like a kid again. Getting all muddy and wet. Jorge, Elias and Mitchell were excellent. Your company should be privleged. To have them. Educactional, Fun and all in all a great day!
Frankie & Elias did a wonderful job with a fairly large and very diverse skill level of people. The hiking isn’t rigorous but challenging and fairly technical with slippery trails, rocks and some light climbing. The waterfalls were amazing so much to see and experience plus a stop at the beach on the way home with awesome food choices in Luquillo 💪🏽 Frankie is really knowledgeable and quite animated and shows great passion for the Island. Learned many things today 🙏🏼
The views were amazing and I absolutely loved that Jorge's number one priority was our safety. Even if we looked "silly" in the helmets and life vests, I think they brought confidence even to rookie hikers because of the safety. Luis took awesome photos for us at key points in the hike so we could fully focus on experiencing El Yunque. Mitchell was always there to lend a helping hand to those who needed it - whether it was climbing a more difficult rock or swimming after the natural waterslide. Speaking of that, it was such a unique and wonderful experience as well as the cliff jumping and the rope swing!! We stopped before El Yunque so if you didn't make time for breakfast you can snack on some fruit or a delicious smoothie (they have other dishes as well). We also stopped after at a beach for about an hour - which was a nice place to chill, but make sure you have cash if you want to buy pre-prepped food instead of spending time in a sit-down restaurant. I will say the tour took up more of the day than the estimated time, which I didn't mind but make sure you allow for some flexibility in your evening plans afterward. All in all, Jorge, Luis, and Mitchell provided a magnificently thrilling adventure that really made my first solo trip more empowering and unforgettable.
El Yunque rainforest was wonderful but our tour guides/drivers from Bespoke Lifestyle Management were absolutely amazing! They made the trip fantastic. George and Pito made everyone in the group feel so welcome. They were informative, helpful, humorous and made sure that everyone was safe and had a great time.
Our tour guide, Julian, was one of the best guide I’ve ever had on a tour! Having fun and our safety was his first priority. Loved the hiking, water slide and cliff jumping. He also took photos of all of us and made sure we got them before we left. My daughter left her sunglasses on the bus and he even delivered them to us when he got off work. Freedom! Would definitely recommend!
It was a great experience! For those who are considering this tour, remember to bring EVERYTHING with you on to the tour bus, but leave everything on the bus and go hiking with absolute nothing on you. Because everything that goes on the tour with you will get wet
Our hides really helped us stay safe. Listen to their advice. There are many slippery areas on trail and in water. Wear good shoes. At 52 yo I felt nervous but it’s all doable. A fantastic adventure !!!
The guides and the adventure makes this trip an excellent time. Do not attempt to make this if you are not physically able to climb rough terrain over rocks and trees.
Awesome experience. So much fun! Definitely worth it. Best part of our 6 day stay in San Juan. Bring good hiking shoes because its muddy!
Jason was our guide and he was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable and caring of our familia. The hike was beautiful.
Absolutely incredible experience. Our tour guide Julian was great and very knowledgeable! Definitely recommend!!
It was so much fun! We had an amazing time for such a great price! Highly recommend and I hope to do it again!
This was a great experience/day trip in Puerto Rico. It was so helpful that the tour picked us up from our hotel and took care of everything from water to photography. The guides were friendly, helpful and made sure we were safe. The hike itself was a just right challenge for us ( mom and two kids- 13 and 17)including hiking, rock climbing and water activities. The rainforest was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed.
I’d call this one just okay. 90 minutes in a van each way, a 20 minute hike thru the jungle on an extremely muddy trail then three water activities that you can do in less than an hour (you can do them as many times as you want though). It was good to get off the ship and do something but we wouldn’t do it again.
