El Yunque National Forest Guided Tour With Transport

It was very enjoyable. The walking was easy. Our tour guide Isaac was great. We stopped outside for the park for a delicious lunch before heading home.

It is cool to see the forest and learn about everything inside. So many plants the water was clear. It was stunning

Please bring a towel with you if you plan to swim in the river. Ask for Ingrid she was the best guide I have ever had. The tower views even in the rain were spectacular

This tour was an excellent way to experience the rain forest but other travelers shoulld be aware that the paths in the forest are not consistent. Some can be steep and covered in roots. You may also want to bring a disposable rain jacket/poncho because it can (and did) rain.

I had a phenomenal experience. Isaac and Fernando were AMAZING!! I loved seeing El Yunque, which I hadn't visited before. Isaac did a great job of sharing facts about San Juan and El Yunque. The price was right for the experience. I would recommend this tour. Isaac also shared other tidbits about the island, which I thoroughly enjoyed learning about. The atmosphere was relaxed and everyone on the tour was friendly. Because the other tourists were friendly, our adventure was interesting.

Ingrid was fantastic! Shared knowledge of the island. Great stops and plenty of time at each. Overall easy, there is a small hike to the river swimming spot, but I was fine in sturdy waterproof sandals. Water shoes are recommended and bring cash for lunch and tipping.

Isaac was excellent! Knew all the spots to stop! Great sense of humor! We were particularly thankful he waited for us when we were unexpectedly about 10 minutes late for tour start; I was panicked!

Me and my husband had a great time with our tour guide and the small group we were with. Pickup at the hotel was seamless. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and caring. The views at the observatory were breathtaking. The river portion was a lot of fun. Our favorite meal of the trip was the one lunch stop at a roadside food stand.

Isaac was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He showed us so many things that we definitely would have seen by going on our own, including the tree snails, the stick insect, slime slug, and a hummingbird nest. And the yummy food stop, where he went behind the counter & helped take our lunch orders. Definitely a highlight of our trip!

Our family really enjoyed this excursion. Ingrid was our guide and she was wonderful! She told us so much about El Yunque and Puerto Rico. She made sure that everyone was comfortable and having a good time. We drove to a river area, walked down to the river, played in the water, walked back to the van. She had water and a bathroom opportunity. Then we drove into the rainforest, she filled us in on many facts the entire time, stopped at Torre Yokahu observation tower, climbed the 98 stairs and enjoyed the view and area around it. Then she took us to the tallest waterfall in the rainforest. Then she gave the group food options, we chose local fare. After the yummy lunch (bring cash), we head back to San Juan. Ingrid made the the experience great for the entire shuttle. Decent comfortable walking shoes, a bathing suit, a towel, sunscreen or hat and cash for food after is all you need. The experience and facts were informative and enjoyable for all.

We booked what we thought was a tour for seniors and it wasn’t. The terrain was slippery and steep. The tour included rock climbing. A hike at high elevation. A dip in a pool that was a little tricky maneuvering the muddy decline that went down to a rocky area for the pool. Isaac was a super guide. Very knowledgeable about the rainforest and History of PR. He was a pleasure. We have good memories.

On 9/24/26 we went to explore the El YunQue rain forest in PR. We were picked up at our hotel by tour leader Issic. Issic was great, very knowledgeable, informative and funny. We first went on a hike down to a swimming hole and if you wanted to swim, you could. Next stop was the 100' tower Which gave a 360^ view. 98 steps up but it was worth it. Last stop was to a local restaurant for lunch, excellent, and back to hotel. We were both very glad we went on this trip, totally enjoyable. and yes it did rain.

This tour included some hiking and sightseeing at the tower, waterfall and natural pools. You could do whatever was comfortable for you. You did not have to get in the water if not comfortable. Our guide, Isaac, was wonderful. He was very energetic and knowledgeable and hopped up the trails like a jackrabbit. He informed us of the flora, animal world, and history of the forest as well as Puerto Rican culture. And he served lunch at our stop! Would highly recommend this tour.

This was an amazing experience. Our tour guide Isaac was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He kept us entertained with unique facts about the history of PR and El Yunque. We saw a lot of unique plants and wildlife. Got to even hold a manatee. Thank you Isaac for this tour. Transportation was also great! They did provide free water to keep us hydrated throughout. This was the perfect tour after our cruise ended, we had a lot of time before our flight out. Our guide was easy going, fun, and knowledgeable, we learned a lot during our tour and got to the airport with plenty of time to spare

Fantastic tour. I took my 14-year-old and my 5-year-old. The guide was extremely punctual with pickup and drop off. The guide was very knowledgeable and from the moment we sat down to being dropped off we were giving information about the beautiful culture in Puerto Rico The rainforest was absolutely breathtaking and I would definitely book to go again.

Wow, what an amazing time. Isaac was bar far the best guild we’ve experienced in a long time. We travel often always taking tours. We booked this tour last minute the day before, we were unsure if the hike and swim would be enjoyable and I’m so glad we went. Isaac is very proud of PR and he shares sooo much great information. We got to hike, swim and even stopped at the falls for pictures. At the end he took us to a local roadside food location for lunch where we had authentic PR food. Rice, Mofongo and soooo much more.

Bring a rain poncho, there will be rain. Take advantage of the opportunities to swim. Thoroughly enjoyable! Great view from the tower.

This was a fantastic experience! Our driver, Isaac, was a sweet young man with knowledge of his country's history. He was great at pointing out historical sites on our way to the rainforest. Great experience and great driver. I highly recommend this company and the driver, Isaac!

Great experience in the rainforest. We were able to take the trail that lead to an area with a water hole, drive by a waterfall (stopped to take pictures) and went to a viewing tower with panoramic views. I didn't want to go down a waterfall so this your was perfect. We were able to eat a quick lunch and grab souvenirs on the way back down. Our guide Ingrid was so informative about the area, Taino history and the native plants!

Tour was great! Issac picked us up from our hotel and gave us some history and interesting facts along the way to the rainforest. Our time at the rainforest was fun. The nearly mile round-trip hike was pretty easy and was nice to get out and walk for a little bit.

Our tour guide Ingrid was so kind and amazing. She talked about all the plants found in El Yunque and the way they are used to help for ailments. She entertained my kids with how rocks create different colors. She took our pictures and even made a pit stop to enjoy great food in El Yunque. Great investment.
