Old San Juan is the name by which the historic district of San Juan de Puerto Rico is known. It is located on the Isleta de San Juan which is connected to the main island of Puerto Rico by bridges.
The history of the Capitol building began on February 7, 1907, when Don Luis Munoz Rivera, an important figure of the political history of Puerto Rico and legislator at the time, introduced House Bill 84 to the House of Delegates.
Castillo San Felipe del Morro (also known as “El Morro”), perhaps the most iconic fortification built by the Spanish in the Americas, covers a 140 foot-high promontory at the entrance to the Bay of San Juan. This fortress consists of 6 levels facing the Atlantic Ocean, all of which were designed to create a devastating artillery fire over enemy ships. By the time of its completion around 1790, it had the reputation of being unconquerable and was the most feared of all the Spanish colonial fortifications.
Enjoy the beautiful views that offers the Port of San Juan, place where all the big cruises from different places stops here to see a little of this beautiful Island. Here we offer different typical foods from Puerto Rico, surrounded by buildings with ancient architecture that still prevail.
Distrito T-Mobile is a shopping and entertainment district complex located next to the Puerto Rico Convention Center, part of a redevelopment of the Convention Center area that initially opened in 2005.
La Placita de Santurce is a must stop for anyone visiting Puerto Rico. The location was founded more than 100 years ago as a two-tiered market square. If you like late-night, you'll love La Placita! Opening and closing times at bars and clubs in La Placita vary, but many bars open around 9 or 10 p.m. and stay open until 2 a.m. Bars and clubs are typically open Wednesday or Thursday through Sunday, with most everything being closed on Monday and Tuesday.

The tour guy was nice, but I did not see what i expect to see old san juan and el morro. I was taken on the wrong tour, enjoy the tour but my daughters weren't dress for the beach tour and would have preferred the old San Juan tour.
A Good experiencie for all people
Royal Adventures is a must-do in Puerto Rico! Dawil provided exceptional service, kept the group entertained, and made sure we had an unforgettable adventure. Thank you!
Amazing Tour old San Juan Puerto Rico vibes !
I had a really fun time with Royal Adventures Puerto Rico. The experience itself is definitely unique—you get to explore areas like Old San Juan, Isla Verde, and Piñones while riding in a Can-Am/UTV, which makes it way more exciting than a regular tour. The best part was the vibe and the views. You can stop for pictures, enjoy the beach, and even check out local spots along the way. Some guides are super friendly and knowledgeable, and they really make the experience better. Many people say it’s one of the most memorable activities on their trip.
Saw lots of cool sites and had a great driver Michael. I wish we knew that there is an office in the hotel we met at and there is a 50$ surprise to buy insurance at the desk. Not a good way to start.
The tour guide was late. He even picked up the wrong group instead of us. If I did not text him, he would have gone with the wrong group. The tour started late and was definitely not what we paid for. The tour guide was even going to wrong direction as we paid for an island tour and not a beach tour. We could have just taken a taxi if we wanted to go to the beach. I would not recommend this tour. The price was ridiculous for what we got. A total rip-off. The tour is just a scam.
The tour guide was late and did not meet us in the lobby of the hotel. Then he surprised us with a waiver form that was not emailed ahead of time and evidently included a surprise charge for $50 insurance. Then he said his parking pass was stolen and he could not leave the garage. We waited in the hot stuffy parking garage with no end in sight before my daughter complained she felt faint and we had enough and left. There was no support from the tour company and when I told him I was unsatisfied he accused me of discriminatory language (lol). Stay away at all costs.
We paid $350 essentially for a drive through San Juan in a Can Am. We made two stops, one in front of the “I love PR” sign for a photo and once at the TMobile venue. We had no historical or informational commentary. I see others drove on a beach. Our driver pointed at one beach when we passed. We were expressly told to wait in the lobby of the Double Tree hotel for a noon tour. No one showed. I sent two emails and twice left messages at the number provided with no response. At 12:30 someone called and said we were in the wrong place, which we were not. We finally got started 45 minutes late but were delivered back to the hotel at two, which meant our “tour” was 1 hour 15 minutes, not 2 hours because we followed their instructions. While we enjoyed the Can Am experience and the driver was a nice guy, we in no way received what was advertised. We nothing about anything we saw, so it should be advertised as a drive not a guided tour.
If you’re looking for a unique way to experience San Juan, this is it. The Can-Am ride adds so much fun to the tour, and the staff makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Everything felt personal and not rushed. We left with great memories and amazing photos
This tour was honestly one of the highlights of our trip to Puerto Rico. Riding through Old San Juan on a Can-Am was such a fun and unique way to see the city. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable the entire time. You can tell they truly care about giving you a great experience. I would 100% do this again
The experience was ok. The guild showed up about 30 mins after the start time but it still lasted the two hours. The driver drove us around but did not stop and explain what anything was. We asked him about a statue in town and he did not know who it was. I would not go again.
So the guy ask for a deposit of $90 through cashapp I sent it to him and told me I’ll get it back tomorrow morning I called he told me that he can give me the cash in person if I show up to his office I agreed I do inform him that I have to catch a flight back to Massachusetts that’s where I stay and I told him my flight is at 11pm I need to drop my rental off had me waiting in a churches chicken parking lot for 3 hours knowing I’m not from San Juan made me late for my flight and on the tour the guy that was supposed to give me a tour was on his phone and vaping in the utv next to my pregnant girlfriend and I was supposed to drive the utv and never did the guy look confused and drop me off at the t mobile district and said he’ll be back in 30 minutes and I was waiting for atleast 48 minutes and he never let me drive the utv I keep calling the guy I keep texting him leaving me on “delivered” very unprofessional I called his number “+1 (747) 474-5531” still no response from him
My boyfriend and I took this tour as it was his first time going to OSJ and we wanted something shorter than the walking tours. We were told to be at the meeting spot at 10:00, but after getting there at 9:45 told the actual tour doesn't start until 10:30. Our tour guide, Michael, kept trying to push us towards the beach tour but we were staying on the beach. I booked OSJ and that's what I wanted. We finally headed out and Michael barely spoke, we mainly listened to music. I was in the back and really didn't hear him say anything. There wasn't much traffic in OSJ and we rolled through and out in about 20 minutes. We learned nothing about the area. I had to keep asking questions. He then took us to a TMobile entertainment center, but we didn't want to get out. He asked us if we wanted to eat. I booked this for a tour of Old San Juan, not to eat! He then drove us over to an area called Pinones, by the airport, to eat. This tour seemed to be really about what Michael wanted to do. It was a total waste of my money. Since we were there, we did eat and I got food poisoning. I'm still pissed that I spent this amount of money for nothing. With the amount of time we spent riding around, we could have spent more time in Old San Juan and actually learned something.
Honestly, I didn't expect to enjoy the historic tour much as I did. The guide had such a great way of telling stories, and the Can-Am made it feel like an adventure. Super cool!
I loved how our guide shared the history of the places we visited in such a relaxed and fun way. The Can-Am gave us the freedom to see more without getting tired. Great experience.
Such a fun twist on a history tour! We saw beautiful architecture, learned a lot, and got to ride in style. Our guide was passionate about Puerto Rico and it really showed.
I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it this much! The scenery was amazing, especially with the ocean right next to us. The guide was funny and super helpful—great energy all around.
Exploring Old San Juan on a Can-Am was such a unique experience. I’ve done walking tours before, but this was way more fun. The guide knew so much about the area and made us laugh along the way.
We had a great time with our tour guide Daniel, he was amazing, we had a few extra minutes and he took us for empanadas and coconuts. Fun time for our family.
Eddie was amazing. One of the best things we did in Puerto Rico. He showed us all the good spots and gave us plenty of time to take pictures. Would recommend to everyone.
The tour was supposed to start at 5 PM. The tour guide called us at 4 PM stating that we are late for the tour. I spoke with the manager via phone (+1 (747) 474-5531) around 9 AM on August 21, 2025 confirming our tour to start at 5 PM later that evening. When we arrived the tour guide stated he cannot give us the full 2 hour tour since we were late which we were not. The car was dirty, the tour guide was on FaceTime while driving us, and all throughout the tour I was contacting the manager because the tour guide would not listen to us or give us a proper tour because he said he has another tour to give right after us. The unprofessional behavior of the tour guide was absolutely appalling. Here is photo evidence of the tour guide texting while driving and screenshots of me texting with the manager during the tour. He ran over a sidewalk because he was texting and driving which is obviously a safety issue. The miscommunication and lack of respect from the tour guide ruined what was even left of the tour because I was constantly calling the manager for the tour guide to honor the 2 hour tour. He just drove us around alleyways to kill time because he did not want to drive to old San Juan through the traffic. This was a horrible experience and I urge you to remove this company from your website.
The best Can-Am tour in Puerto Rico amazing views site to see go on the 4pm trip sunset is beautiful Ask for Daniel the best HOST he’s going to make sure u see everything…
I absolutely love this tour I saw and stop and took pictures and even enjoyed a cocoito while we drove thru old San juan
We loved this tour! It was by far the highlight of our trip to San Juan. Riding in a UTV is an amazing experience. Daniel our guide was fantastic. He customized the tour for us and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. I highly recommend taking this tour as it gives a unique opportunity to see San Juan. Well worth the money for 3 people. Please request Daniel as he is the best. Thank you bro for a blast!
Our tour guide Daniel was one of the best tour guides we have come across in a long time. He is very passionate about the culture of Puerto Rico and provided great information to help us learn about the area. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is due to the miscommunication regarding insurance component. The written description does not make clear that you are required to purchase $45 insurance to cover the cost of the vehicle if you are in an accident. The insurance does not cover bodily injury it only covers the vehicle itself - so whatever you are paying through trip advisor or Viator expect to make an additional payment when you arrive.
Absolutely loved this tour! Juan was knowledgeable, fun, and made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommended!
Danny & Mikey were great! They were courteous and made sure we got experience the sites and culture of San Juan. We stopped by the beach and a food stand for drinks and food throughout the tour. Getting to drive was alot of fun, too!
My sister and I can’t stop raving about this adventure and it wouldn’t have been amazing if it weren’t for our exceptional guide, Daniel. He was so patient while we took our pictures and walked around monuments. Additionally he explained to us what we were seeing and the history behind Old San Juan and the various stops we made. This was a great way to start our trip and I highly recommend for anyone that wants to go around San Juan/Old San Juan on a time restriction.
Wow! My sister and I can’t stop obsessing over our experience, and we honestly wouldn’t have had the greatest time if it wasn’t for our guide, Daniel. He took us throughout San Juan and Old San Juan where we were able to see historical monuments, and explained to us the history behind what we were visiting. I especially appreciated his patience while we took pictures and walked around Old San Juan. This was a great excursion to start off our vacation, and I highly recommend Daniel as your tour guide!
Scammer scammer scammer. It’s not worth the money and is ran by a bunch of liers. Beware. I was drove to one thing and then left at the t-mobile for a hour. The guy in the meantime went on the tour by himself. I only know this because I was sent a video. And he was texting me in the meantime tell me he would be back in 15 mins and I literally had to ask him where he was. When he picked us up he had a weed pen in his hand and smelled really bad of it like really bad. He then proceeded to ask me where my hotel was and drove us straight there. When I got to my hotel I report this and was showed a video and when dude was texting us he proceeded to fake the tour and drove to all the stops by himself. I have a timeline and it shows where he was when Viator stated her was parked. This buiness is a joke.
The web site clearly stated the tour would be in English however our guide spoke no English. Sow several sites but no way to know what we were looking at. The guide was very nice and carried us back to our hotel so we did not have to get another uber. If you don’t speak Spanish I would suggested another tour. Also at the start he had music so loud we could not talk between my wife and myself. When I sent him a text asking to turn it off he did so thankfully.
The ride was a lot of fun and it was a great way to ride around the city. Our driver was very friendly but spoke very little English. We used google translate though so it wasn’t a huge deal. I was looking forward to the itinerary outlined in the listing but we only stopped one place. We had 7 minutes at one of the forts. The listing said it included admission for several places but we never stopped or went in anywhere. I was bummed about that but our driver was really nice. There’s a lot of traffic so we sat quite a bit :/ the driver was kind enough to drop us at the cruise port though so I gave 4 stars for that reason.
This was not what I expected. 1.) See picture 1. Says it includes entry/admission to the castle. Which led me to believe that we could get inside. No, it costs to enter in. We were given 20 mins and dropped off by guide. He did not explain anything. No history. But he was super friendly. It just wasn't what I expected. You basically have time to walk out, take a few pictures and walk back as its a ways out and 20 mins goes by fast. 2.) Entry/Admission - DISTRITO T-Mobile= a shopping area. My fault as I did not research these names. I just assumed since this was marketed as "Private Old San Juan Historical Tour by UTV Can-Am" that the places listed were historical. Nope. 3.) I didn't know we drove over the cobblestone. Because it was never pointed out to me. You can't really hear anything in the back. And I was oblivious, looking out, not down, and just didn't realize we were on it. I asked my husband who sat in front if the guide pointed it out to him and he said no (as he sat in front). 4.) The second picture. Shows entry/admission to the Playa Ocean Park. Which is basically the beach. He never took us there. And towards the end, I mentioned it's included so he then took us, which went over the 2 hour limit. But it was just just a drive by. You don't get out. He literally didn't explain anything. And maybe that's normal because you can't hear anything anyways. 5.) We booked at 12. Not realizing or thinking bout traffic. Because we just didn't know what to expect with this tour. But it was during bad traffic. So it was super hot (no fans inside). You spend basically the entire thing inside, stuck in traffic. Just driving by things. I promise you, for your money, there are WAY better tours. I hate being negative and leaving bad reviews because I know they can impact a business. But he is just not in a great location. Too far away from things, so too much driving in town, which you can do for free in your own vehicle. If your like me and vacation on a small budget and only choosing just a few fun activities, you really want them to count. So we left all feeling a little bummed, or alot. 6.) But because I am usually a positive person. And definitely a fair one, I will say it was fun seeing the cruise ships at the port, the view from the castle, and small ocean views you get glimpses of during it. 2 hours goes by very fast, especially in traffic. Yes, the business can't help the traffic. Not hating on the business. Not at all. I'm just being honest. If you like shopping, go on this tour but choose before 12 am before traffic. And if you want to see everything from a side by side, go for it. I just thought this was a history thing. And not just town traffic. 280 is steep, you can get a taxi for much cheaper, or put gas in your vehicle, and take yourself as we learned absolutely nothing. 7.) Daniel was very nice. And my husband did enjoy talking to him up there in the front. But again he wasn't informative. Just a driver. At the end, he did recommend a beach and a restaurant. We went to beach but chose a restaurant close to it. And we are very happy we went there. Lifted our spirits for the rest of the day after just waisting our money. We drove over an hour from Air bnb too for this tour. Sigh :( there are better options, keep looking.
We did a 2p tour with Michael who was an amazing young man with a flair for adventure and fun! He gave us DJ honors and we all shared music taste. We had a spanish speaker in our group, but if you don’t make sure you tell the tour when you setup. Also timing of tour can be effected by traffic so that sort of bugs if you end up stuck a lot and its hot. Despite the traffic we had a very fun ride around old san juan.
I booked this tour online for 8pm. After I paid, she reached out and stated that the time that I booked for wasn’t available. She offered a 10pm, I told her that it would possibly work. Then reached back out and stated that we could not do 10pm bc of our flight time. I asked for a refund, she stated that she could not give me a refund then went on to say that they could do 8pm. This was at 7:45!!!! Do not book with this company. It wasn’t 24 hours I literally booked the same day and they told me that I could not get a refund bc THEY DID NOT HAVE THE TIME THAT I ORIGINALLY BOOKED FOR AVAILABLE. Luckily I kept the conversation between us, so it’ll make my dispute process easier.
We had a fun trip through the city. The vibes were nice! We were able to play music on the aux. And the experience of having the wind blow through your hair while enjoying amazing views was awesome! Would definitely book again.
This was an absolutely amazing adventure!! We Loved Everything about our tour and both guides!! Excellent scenery and glimpse into local living.
We were the only ones there for the tour. Our tour guide gave my kids the best night ever, he even took them to an arcade for some quick fun! I will definitely be booking this excursion the next time I visit!
Honestly not worth the $300 for this tour only part actually I enjoyed was the driving of the can am but no real excitement and the trip was pretty short
We took a 2 hour tour to Old San Juan. It was very nice to see the old buildings without having to walk all the streets. The vehicle was fun to drive, we made a couple of stops and took tons of pictures.
Cruising the streets of Puerto Rico to the sandy beaches is a must do trip. The team was extremely professional, courteous and friendly. Great experience all around!
It was a thrilling ride and the tour guide was very friendly. It’s a must do if you like adventures.
Our group had an incredible time on the nightlife tour. It was the perfect way to dive into the city's after-dark scene. Each stop was well-paced, and we never felt rushed. It was a great mix of culture, fun, and making new friends. 5 stars all the way!
We took the night life experience and it was great! The weather was perfect, our driver Alejandro was amazing! He was very attentive and kind to us, he gave us recommendations of what to see and visit.
So I booked this trip for me and my fiancé on her Birthday, I paid $290 plus $80 additional dollars for motorcycle insurance. So total of $370 to drive maybe a tota of 40 mins they drove the rest, and to be put in a UTV with a fill in so was having himself a grand old time giving us whiplash with his accelerating just to hear the nitrous, my fiancé left sick. The man that worked with the other couple was very nice. I just think it’s so over priced so what we got. Sorry would not recommend to anyone. Save your money.
I loved it the views were amazing i enjoyed taking pictures and the Can-ams were amazing and fast jajaja
Wasn’t worth the money driver is with you entire ride but was nice to see old san juan. Driver was nice but didn’t tour enough for the price. It was a lot of traffic so a lot of stop and go. The charge you $45 for insurance for the vehicle when you get there and don’t tell you when you pay online.
Amazing views of Old San Juan Historical site , the puertorican tradition and the people are great .
