Condado Lagoon Day Water Bike Tour – San Juan

If you are not in shape, this is not for you, but if you are a very active person as I am you can make it. It was fun and relaxing.

We did the Condado Lagoon water bike tour with Caribbean Chiliboats on our cruise stop, and it was a beautiful, relaxing night. The water bikes were stable and easy to pedal and steer, so we could just sit back and take in the views. Gliding under the lagoon's bridges was stunning, with the water lit up a glowing green beneath us, and the city lights of Condado and San Juan sparkling across the water were gorgeous. Experience was very pleasant and fun, was very nice that the tour guy took pictures of us. It sure was a workout!! But it was so fun to enjoy with family the pick up point location was easy to find . Also, they had food options nearby and it was very smooth to find it.

Make sure you bring a hat it gets hot under the sun. Its a lot of work but its worth it. If you get motion sickness be sure to take something for it

Fun and relaxing. We are not swimmers but felt very safe through out. We would definitely do it again the next time we come back to Puerto Rico. We have very good memories and will share our experience with all our friends and family in Texas .

Very fun at night, our tour guide Jose was fun, energetic, showed us around and took our pictures. The chill boats were fun and we raced other couples. Highly recommend at night

My family had a great experience with Jose as our guide! We had family members ranging from 8 to 81 yr and everyone was able to actively participate and enjoy the experience. We had a fun time!

I didn’t get to experience it Jose informed me of weather so marine time would be canceled and offered to refund me or switch to another day but I had excursions already picked for the next day so I chose the refund but I appreciate the communication & if I am to come back I’ll definitely book with them again

I was contacted by the guide to change our booked and paid time slot due to other travelers wanting our spot. Because my husband and I were there on our honeymoon, we had other things, so we couldnt change. We were told that was fine. We were then contacted again by the guide to cancel saying it was due to weather conditions that were non existent. We were told over the phone and through text message that we would be getting a refund since they cancelled due to weather. I am still waiting on my refund, the guide has not responded, and its been more than enough time to process. We would have loved to do this activity that we paid for but unfortunately, didnt have the opportunity to do so.

Jose was great, he has the patience like no other. This is a fun activity to do with the family, all the while getting in some good cardio exercise.

In the description it says "Learn about San Juan’s history while you pedal". Unfortunately this was very misleading as it gave the impression that the tour guide was going to provide us with information of San Juan while we pedeled to different parts of San Juan. The guide was good but he guided us without providing us with any San Juan information. We liked the experience of the chiliboats overall but you really either need to change the description or have the tour guide provide the history of San Juan. There was also mention of seeing things we wouldn't normally see which how would we know that unless someone told us what we were looking at.

So much fun! Loved it. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun hour of pedaling and looking at the ocean. Best part of our trip so far!

We booked this tour months in advance. When our trip came up, we did have to reschedule for a different day due to another tour of ours needing to change the date. They were very accommodating for this. When the day of this tour came, they messaged us and said the weather wasn't looking great in the morning, so we changed to an afternoon spot. We were walking around in the afternoon and the weather was beautiful, but they told us again that it didn't look good (an hour before) and asked if we could do the night tour or we could cancel. We went with the night tour. It was cool and beautiful, but we were hoping to see sea life which we couldn't do much at night. I got the vibe that they moved us because more people signed up for the night tour and they didn't want to take just us out, but cant day for sure. Overall it was fun and I recommend it.

Chiliboat tour was fantastic! Jose our tour guide was very helpful and spotted sea turtles and manatees for us. Not difficult to pedal the bikes, they are safe and will not tip over. Would definitely recommend as a great way to see the lagoon and get beautiful views of San Juan!

It was a fun experience riding on the boats with my sons. It was the first experience and I will repeat it again. Too much fun👍

could not find place drove for 45 minutes in circles. Tried calling where i bought tickets no response. i got a call from the excursion, he sent a link still could not find.

Absolutely disappointing experience. I rarely leave reviews, but I felt it was necessary after dealing with this company. Their customer service is completely unhelpful and unwilling to take action. I reached out with a reasonable request and was calm and professional. Every time, I was met with scripted replies and no flexibility. It’s clear they care more about policy than people. If something goes wrong (which it did), the address is clearly wrong for the tour, which in turn made us late. I will not be using them again and highly recommend others look elsewhere. Companies that treat customers like this don’t deserve your business.

Very very fun experience. Wish I could go again. The guide takes you the entire way and even on a windy day the boat is easy to navigate.

It’s a relaxing boat ride around Condado Bay. The tour guide allows you to go at your own pace, there is plenty of time on the water, the waves aren’t an issue and the scenery is beautiful.

We had a lovely time on our Chiliboat Adventure tour. Along the way we saw a couple of manatee and sea turtles, which made it extra special. The boats are easy to guide and actually go a bit faster than we anticipated. Jose' our guide was very informative and nice enough to take pictures and share them with the tour participants, which we really appreciated. Thank Jose' for a great time!

Experience was a 10/10! You get a chance to explore Puerto Rico in a fun way. Tour guide was amazing also! He made sure to tell us the history of Old San Juan along with capturing memories for us. If you plan on visiting soon, definitely add this to your itinerary!

My husband and I really enjoyed riding the chili boat 🛶 we saw a few turtles and a manatee. Jose was an awesome tour guide.

The weather was extremely windy and so they sent us a text to move our time from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm . We could not make the 1:00 and said to credit us since we could not make the 1:00pm . Then a couple hours later they said we had to pay for the 11:00 because they have the power to cancel only an hour before the scheduled time even though they moved our time due to weather. They changed their communication to say we only offered an option to move it because of the weather. That’s not what the text said. We did not go on the trip due to the high winds but they are stating they will not refund. What a rip off !!

This was such a nice excursion! The weather and scenery were beautiful, the water was relaxing and the tour guide was excellent! We saw turtles and manatees and artificial underwater volcanos. It’s exercise (like riding a bike) but you don’t feel like it is until it’s over. Our guide (Jose) was really informative sharing information about the area and the island as a whole. Would definitely recommend this beautiful excursion! 10/10!

Great to do in the morning before sun gets too hot. Hose was our guide and was courteous, friendly and patient. Our group consisted of a 75, 65,40, 39, 15, and 13 year old. All of us were able to peddle the boats without issue- it is very easy and it moves far. The person in the front is the one to steer. You are not strapped in but the boats do not tip. You are also given a life vest with a whistle. The sight is beautiful, the water clear and warm. The guide will also take a few group pictures and send it to you. Very enjoyable and highly recommended.

Fun way to see San Juan and Condado from the water! The boats were easy to pedal, our guide gave us clear instructions, and took great pictures of us and sent them to us at the end. Highly recommended!

Juan our guide allowed us to come the following day and not lose our money. I guess there were more people the following day and there was a bit of a mix up. Overall I loved how the vendor worked with me. Viator wasn't any help. I was very disappointed Viator with you. This Chilliboat experience took you to the bay across the Atlantic Ocean. The sights from the water were beautiful and Juan our guide took pictures of us and share alit of information. A wonderful experience.
