We had such a wonderful day exploring Old San Juan and El Yunque with Angel and Annie! They are an amazing couple who run their own tour company, and we genuinely couldn't have asked for better guides. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the history, culture, and everything we saw along the way. We especially appreciated learning about local life and hearing their perspectives on Puerto Rico and its people. But what really made the day special was how warm, friendly, and personable they both were. We shared so many laughs, exchanged stories, and got to know each other throughout the day. By the end, it felt much more like spending the day exploring with friends than being on a guided tour. It was easily one of the highlights of our time in Puerto Rico. We couldn't recommend Angel and Annie more highly!

Our guides Angel and Annie were great. Nice van, and very professional. Angels knowledge of Puerto Rico was amazing. Very pleasant and answered ALL my questions as though he wrote the book. Very intuitive as well, combining history with native insight to give us a true locals perspective. We saw the forts of Old San Juan as well as the beautiful cobblestone streets, then off to the rainforest. Stopped at some interesting sites, including some local street food, accompanied by by bits of local knowledge and history, then up the mountain to a great waterfall. A great experience that left me more enlightened to the beautiful island. Thank you both.

What a fantastic tour of Old San Juan and El Yunque. Angel and Annie started out by picking us up at our hotel. The sprinter van was like new, clean and had great air conditioning. We traveled through San Juan will multiple stops to take pictures and learned so much about the city. We then headed to El Yunque. Angel is so knowledgeable about the island. Even my 11 year old enjoyed all the facts about the island. We then took a short and easy hike through El Yunque and a dip in the river! Outstanding tour of Old San Juan and the rainforest. Annie and Angel were highly knowledgeable and truly made our day phenomenal. They answered so many questions about the history of Puerto Rico and knew about every tree, leaf, creature and flower we encountered in the rainforest. The vehicle was clean and comfortable and air conditioned. From learning about historic military forts to swinging from a rope swing and swimming in the river, it was a beautiful day with our family. We made a pit stop after the rainforest in a little town and found a vegan Açaí and smoothie restaurant which was awesome!

Angel was so full of information that we were all riveted throughout the tour. He was kind and patient with our group of ten old friends. answering all of our questions in great detail. The highlight of the trip may have been the stop at a local place for a traditional Puerto Rican meal. This was an excellent tour! Angel and Annie were very knowledgeable. They took us to places we would have never ventured to on our own. Loved the stops to the local food places. Make sure you stop at each one as they were delicious. When we went to the river in the jungle, Angel always made sure my 7 year old “little fish” was safe jumping off the ledges and ropes they had. It was an amazing experience. We also went to what used to be a cave. He told us a lot about the history of each thing we saw area and pointed out plants and wildlife. So very worth the cost. We did the concrete jungle to the actual jungle tour with four adults and four kids aged 7-17. It was fabulous! Annie and Angel were easy to communicate with from start to finish, and are incredibly knowledgeable. We learned so much and had amazing experiences that we would have never found on our own.

We were looking for a tour that gave us an overview of P.R. We wanted to see a lot of the island, learn about culture, history, etc. This tour was fantastic! This is a great tour to see and visit several beautiful areas including Old San Juan, new San Juan, Pinones, a cave and an amazing rainforest waterfall. Angel and Annie were awesome. We got to see some sites that tourists usually do not see. Tour was not rushed unlike some others we have been on where some of the sites were drive by.

We took the Concrete Jungle to Rainforest Jungle Tour on the first full day of our Puerto Rico vacation. We felt like we had learned so much about the Puerto Rican culture and history that it made for a great base for the rest of our explorations which we did on our own. We only wish we could remember half of the information that Angel and Anne had provided. It is very obvious to see and feel the passion and excitement that Angel has for Puerto Rico and its heritage throughout the tour. They took great care of us throughout the day and planned the trip around what we had expressed a desire to see. If Angel did not know the answer to a question that was posed (which was rare) he would find out the answer. Not least of all was the courtesy, kindness and sense of humor shown as well. We cannot recommend this tour enough.

I took my young son and had a blast. They were so patient with us and totally up for whatever we wanted. Our guide was so knowledgeable and excited to share everything he knew about his home. They even let us stop for some ice cream on the way back!

We had a wonderful time with Annie and Angel. The tour was everything we expected it to be. We saw lots of different sites and learned so much about Puerto Rico. We felt safe in the clean van. The pace of the tour was perfect and Angel and Annie were flexible and accommodating and went the extra mile by taking us to a look out point in the rain forest.

I would highly recommend booking this tour with Angel and Annie ( toursyourwaypr dot com ) as it gives you a great introduction to the island and the history of the island especially for new visitors. The tour was just our family (of 5) which was super helpful as we have a very independent, spirited 4 year old which can be frustrating for others if they are having to wait for your child. Also, they have a vehicle that can accommodate larger families or smaller families which I was curious how they would manage our family. Both Annie and Angel were very kind and helpful. They brought us to some local stops for food which we would have probably never stopped or found. We also don't speak a ton of Spanish so they were able to make our orders for us. I will say our kids were not into the side of the road food but did try it. I packed snacks specifically for this purpose. It was helpful to learn of the culture in PR such as beach parking is free just pull over off the lines of the road or what they do when theres a hurricane. This will be helpful as we drive the island (not the hurricane information, I'd suggest not driving in a hurricane). We also stopped in the Rainforest away from the crowds and was able to do some of the same things you see in advertisements of other tours like the rope swing, jumping off the rocks, etc. but safer (not getting jumpped on) they had a few life jackets as well. At the end we stopped by a local spot ? Gaby which was really good and even my picky eaters ate the rice In speaking with Angel and Annie, they offer other tours...now I know, they will here from us next time we are back but check out their other tours and you can ask for a customized tour which I was not aware of. Thank you Angel and Annie for spending the day with us. * vehicle can accommodate larger families * there's a changing building to get in or out of swimming clothes but you do have to walk a well cleared path in and out of water area. * I'd recommend water shoes, towel, snacks, sunblock, sunglasses, goggles to see lake fish, extra water, battery back up for phones. * If you have a waterproof case or camera for the end of the trip. * some life vests are available but you should mention kids sizes if you want specific sizes. I'd imagine they would get others for you prior to trip if you gave notice but ask (you pay obviously) * can make requests prior to tour so they can plan for traffic * Annie and Angel are personable and easy to talk with.

We took a private tour with Danny today and it was absolutely amazing! He was so kind, patient, and knowledgeable. He really took his time to make sure that we saw everything that we wanted to, he took tons of photos for us, and made sure that we had a truly incredible experience. I would highly recommend!

I am so glad we booked this excursion with Angel and Annie. We were traveling with a 9 yr old and 16 yr old so I was looking for a tour that they would like but also have history and sightseeing for the adults. Annie recommended this one. Communication was excellent. Angel was waiting for us right were he said to meet. The van was very clean and comfortable and cool. Angel’s knowledge of the island was outstanding. I learned so much. Plus it felt like we were having a conversation with a friend. We also loved the stop for food!! The highlight for the kids and the “big” kids was the River swim. They loved jumping from a rope swing and jumping into the river. Angel and Annie kept it fun for the kids and encouraged everyone to relax and enjoy. They were fabulous about getting us back to the ship on time. I highly recommend them and would love to go back and do another tour with them.

Annie was a great driver and Angel was so informative it was overwhelming! I can’t remember a tenth of all the info he gave on culture, plants and wildlife. He answered all our questions with so much detail and asked each time if he answered the question. Their large vehicle was very comfortable and they had a speaker system so family members in the back could hear also. It was awesome views of the ocean at the cemetery and ft Morro and fun seeing the capital building, the White House and the blue cobblestone streets as well as hearing the history from indigenous people to Spaniards to becoming a US territory. Then more beautiful views of the oceans and beautiful beaches on the drive to the rainforest - Changing into swimsuits, walked through the rainforest to get to the river. And had a relaxing time in the river while 2 of the 6 of our family jumped off the cliff and used the rope swing to drop into the river also! Then stopped on the way back for supper that was delicious chicken and ribs etc. it was so nice to be picked up and dropped off at our rental place in Carolina. Angel and Annie felt like part of the family from the moment we met them and hated to say goodbye at the end of the tour. Wish we had planned another tour with them during our week stay.

This tour was one of the best I have taken. Angel and Annie were fantastic hosts. I would recommend them anytime. After a little confusion with the pickup, the rest was smooth sailing. Angel is very informative and did a great job explaining places we stopped and not stop. The San Juan stops included El Morro, the capital building, and the resort area of Condado. The lunch stop is at the Iguana Bar in the Pinones area which has great Puerto Rican street food. Great chance to try the coconut water as well. The next stop is at a historic cave which had its share of collapses, but very cool to walk through. Angel gives you a choice for the last stop at El Yunque. We chose the mountain drive and the visitors center. Very educational and a nice stroll through the forest. You get quite a bit in 6 hours and it is time well spent.

What a fantastic tour, Angel and Annie picked our group up at the hotel in Old San Juan, from that moment on, we received a wonderful tour starting in Old San Juan, visiting the fort San Felipe Del Morro, the historic cemetery Santa Maria Magdalena de Pazzi, stopping at the Capital building and visiting the scenic Condado area. After a quick snack at a local food stop, the food was delicious, we saw some of the most pristine beaches in Puerto Rico and visited a few cities that were off the beaten path. All while learning about the culture and heritage of the territory. Afterwards we visited the El Yunque rainforest and visited the nature center and a short hike through the rainforest. All in all it was a fabulous experience, we found Angel very receptive to the numerous questions we had regarding the culture, living and working in Puerto Rico, and many of the differences between living in the mainland and Puerto Rico. I also want to add that Annie was also so informative and did a great job of answering questions and driving us throughout the city, the surrounding area, the numerous cities, the rainforest and returning us safely to our hotel. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any and all tours in which you want to learn more about the island, the culture and life in Puerto Rico. What an amazing great tour company.

If you are looking for an awesome experience book with Angel and Annie! Very knowledgeable and friendly. They really go above and beyond. We didn’t have a car during our stay in San Juan and they look us to a bakery, so I could bring home treats to my husband. I really couldn’t say enough good things about this team. If they are ever in Tucson, I would invite them to stay in our guest house and enjoy another unesco city of gastronomy.
