I just finished a lovely week long stay here. I am Boricua and I don’t come to San Juan often but this hotel definitely showed me what I was missing. I preferred staying in the east tower in the Biltmore Suite but the left tower in a standard room was also nice. The hotel is lovely, the grounds are stunning, the pools are just gorgeous (great scenery from the infinity pool) but what really makes this place as great as it is was the staff. Here is a special shout out to all the workers that made my stay a 1000/10 and made me feel right at home. Daniel, Ricardo, Jerik, and Indihra at the Mojito Bar. Every morning and evening they took care of EVERYONE. Danny is so outgoing and kind, Ricardo had all the good tunes, Jerik and Indihra made the best breakfast mimosas. Jerlene working at Ola is the funniest, most welcoming woman ever. There is a special bond that Puerto Ricans have and she felt like a sister. Every morning she greeted me and we shared the best laughs. Jan, Luis, Michael, and Jared at the main pool and adult pool handling towels, chairs, and umbrellas went above and beyond! Whether I wanted sun, shade, or a little in between they were there. Luis met me the first day and called me by name every day after that. I can’t wait to be return home to PR and I will definitely be stopping by Condado Vanderbilt again when I do!

I had a wonderful 10-day stay at the Vanderbilt Hotel in San Juan, and one of the people who truly stood out during my stay was Griseliz at the front desk. From the moment I arrived, she was incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive. She consistently went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and taken care of. Throughout my stay, staff always greeted me with a genuine smile and was happy to help with any questions or requests. Their positive attitude and attention to detail made a noticeable difference. I would absolutely recommend the Vanderbilt, and I hope management recognizes what a valuable member of the team Griseliz is. Thank you for making my stay in San Juan even better!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at the Condado Vanderbilt Hotel was nothing short of amazing. It is easily one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at, and we will definitely be coming back on future trips to Puerto Rico. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely happy to help. The valet service was outstanding they took great care of our vehicle, and whenever we needed it, they would gladly go retrieve it for us. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The pools are stunning, the entire property is spotless, and the amenities are truly top-notch. We also loved the live music that was offered several nights during our stay it created such a relaxing and upscale atmosphere. The location couldn't be better. It's right on the main strip in Condado, making it easy to walk to restaurants, shops, and everything the area has to offer. There was a little construction nearby, but it never took away from our overall experience. I honestly have no complaints. The service was phenomenal from start to finish, and every part of our stay exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend the Condado Vanderbilt Hotel to anyone visiting Puerto Rico. We can't wait to return!
We spent a week in a junior suite and the hotel exceeded all our expectations. The building has a lot of timeless old charm, coated in gorgeous pink marble and custom features. The service workers are friendly and helpful in a non intrusive manner. Not a single interaction that didn’t leave us feeling welcome and valued. The amenities are great with several quiet, lowkey and adults only areas. All restaurants we tried had amazing, healthy and delicious options. The highlight is definitely their breakfast buffet that has a great variety of healthy and tasty options, includes coffee and has an omelette bar. The crowd was surprisingly laid back, we expect it to be a little stuck up. The only area of opportunity is the spa. The massage rates are unreasonably high (for an active 40min massage that you get) and you can only enjoy sauna for one hour before your appointment. Given such a steep price a 24h access would be much more suitable. Also it was a bummer we couldn’t buy sauna access by itself, it can only be used if you book a massage.
The hotel public spaces are spectacular. Well designed and beautiful. They have created such a nice and relaxing environment. The pool areas are a huge highlight. The staff is great from the front desk, to pool attendants & restaurant employees. The room and bathroom are nice. Nothing overly special, but we were happy. Our room service, turn down service, and butler were fantastic. Note: If you get a “ocean view room” it likely means partial view. When we first checked in, our ocean view room was looking right at the middle building, electrical boxes, and a view of the ocean (only if you really stuck your head out the window.) They did move us to a much better “ocean view room” aka partial ocean view room. So we were appreciative of that. We will absolutely go back.
