Canopy tour with admission included
This is my second time doing this tour and it’s still just as great! The guides are truly so great and informative. The hike is very steep and can be a bit hard but take it at your own pace and there’s always a guide in the front and in the back. The zip plunges are super fun and they are big into making sure everyone is safe.
Fantastic guides Indie and Diego made it a spectacular time. The rappelling was a unique and awesome touch! You’re out there for around 3 hours and you absolutely get your bang for your buck. Excellent views too as you ride down the mountain!
This was fabulous. We have ziplined at a few places around Costa Rica and this was top notch. The guides were knowledgeable, safety oriented, and fun. The views were fabulous. The steps up the mountain were a killer. All was grand

I had the best time! I was solo and wound up being the only one booked for the time slot I chose. My guides were amazing. They were so friendly and welcoming and even offered to take pictures and videos for me! I felt very comfortable the entire time. I would recommend this experience to anyone! Pura Vida! 🌴
Be prepared to hike up steep stairs to get to the top platform! It was difficult but well worth it. Diego, Brian, May, and Danny were amazing, and we had a lot of fun. The views of the canopy and Cartago are spectacular, and the zip lines are invigorating.
Loved that safety was insisted upon. There was always a guide behind everyone. The trail was exhilarating but a bit of. home. Great sights though. Kind guides.

This was a great experience for my family. My adventurous 9 year old son loved it! The guides were very knowledgeable and helpful, making the experience that much better. One thing to be aware of, though-the hike up the mountain is brutal! I’m a somewhat in shape middle-aged female and I struggled! As long as you pace yourself and take it slow, it is manageable, but just know that the hike up the mountain is tough!

What a really fun afternoon. I did the 12:30 meet up and it was perfect. The hike up the mountain is doable but it is about 45 minutes of steps and incline. It is fine because the guides don't rush you which is really nice. Diego was funny and light hearted. Mae was an absolute sweetheart who I spent a lot of time talking to during the activity. They took great pictures and videos for me which was awesome. It was a great day as a solo, 40-something year old traveler in Costa Rica!

What a cool experience! This was my first time zipping and Diego and crew did a great job of preparing us and making sure we were safe the whole time. We also got some great videos as we "zipped" from platform to platform.

The tour and eperience was great. Deago and Brener are two great guides. They make sure you are comfortable and having fun but most importantly they make sure you are safe. They even helped me with photos and videos. Definitely recommend.

There is an uphill hike to get to the first platform.It can be a bit of a strain for those not in shape.
Great tour with Indy and Andy they were very fun, interactive and professional. The views were wonderful and it was a great experience with a small group of four + the guides. The tour lasted around 2.5 hours and the the trail going up has lots of steps so it may be harder for some if not fit but they don’t rush and give you plenty of time to rest. The admission fee was reasonable and I definitely got my moneys worth.
This was an AMAZING experience! The hardest part — and I MEAN the HARDEST part — was the hike 😂 Those steps seriously never end! I stopped sooo many times trying to catch my breath. But they tell you from the beginning that it’s not a race, go at your own pace. One of the tour guides stays at the back the entire time in case anyone needs breaks, water, or a few minutes to breathe. Once you finally make it to the zip lines, it is SO worth it! 13 zip lines and 2 rappelling drops 😮💨🔥 The guides give detailed instructions and make safety a top priority the entire time. There were even 3 children in our group and honestly… they did better than me 😅😂 Overall, such a fun and unforgettable experience. Definitely BOOK if you want adventure, laughs, and beautiful views. My wife and I had so much fun on this tour. Amazing views, beautiful nature on the walking trail, cool ziplines. Diego and Gustavo made our experience so special. We always felt safe even though this was our first time doing such activities.
We had Diego and Danny as our tour guides throughout this experience and we had the best time with both of them. They were both very patient with us the whole time and made the experience a very fun and enjoyable time. We felt safe the whole time and could trust both of them 100%. Would definitely recommend for your first time zip lining or for any of your zipline visits!

This is absolutely a must do activity in Costa Rica. They have 11 ziplines and 2 rappels which seem scary but they’re super fun, and the views are wonderful. The guides were really kind and friendly and moved at our pace, especially because the walk up is pretty exhausting for someone who isn’t naturally athletic. The one thing I didn’t like was that even though they do have an emergency brake, they had us brake/slow down with our right arm, which often meant the line pulled our arms back quite a bit especially when going fast. I think that possibly pulled a muscle in my arm, and I was extremely sore for several days. Be warned - if you’re not in shape, the hike is rough, and be careful when braking with your arm.
It’s was a chilly day, when we arrived we were freezing but once we started the tour.. we immediately started sweating. Climbing up tht mountain was not for the weak! We had such a beautiful experience despite the weather and the climb by far 10/10 experience. The guides were amazing, kind and patient. Worth it.

Must must do on your trip to CR! Worth every penny and the experience 10/10!! It’s the most adrenaline I had in a while and I am so happy we decided to do this as a small group of four. The hike was …. Let’s just say .. if your not fit it will take you twice as long to get to the top of the mountain but no one is rushing you .. your able to take as many rest breaks as needed and I took many. The guides were awesome and they made sure we Wher safe. Top notch

Our group did the canopy tour of La Carpintera with Diego as our guide. Tour included a hike into the forest, ziplining and rappelling. Diego was great with initial instructions and safety guidelines as well as making sure everyone in the group was having a great time. I would highly recommend tour especially if staying in the San Jose area as it’s only a short drive from town.
