What an amazing experience!! Our guide David made it soo fun!! This has been the highlight of my trip!! Definitely worth the money. Food was amazing!! Would definitely do it again, but this time the bigger rapids!!! Thank you all so much for the memories
The most unprofessional service. We were not picked up. No one reached out to at least say we're canceling your tour. We sent messages to them and didn't get any replies. They were going to still keep our money without providing any services. Don't do this tour and avoid the experience we had.
Unfortunately, our group never actually made it onto the rafting trip due to communication and coordination issues this morning. The staff we spoke with were polite, and the area itself was beautiful, but the experience did not go as planned and was very disappointing given the time and planning involved. I’m hopeful the company will work with us toward a fair resolution.

It was a long drive to get to the river. That said, the rafting was a blast. Our guide Joseph was fun and funny. The rapids were exciting but not scary. The facilities were clean and well kept and the lunch was delicious. Great time for sure.
They cancelled on me last minute claiming there was not enough people for the trip and that they had messaged me yesterday, which I never got. I could have completely booked another excursion had I had enough notice. It’s not nice to disregard someone’s time when they are on vacation. I also notice they only have one review so maybe this is a common practice. My card better not be charged.
Highly recommend this excursion! Our driver Kedor was the best, David was the quintessential host and there is no rafting guide better than Randal! We started the day being greeted by our very personable and knowledgeable driver who pointed out certain sites as we passed them. When we arrived on site, David was kind and thorough with the rundown of the day and was patient with any questions we had. He even managed to adjust the arrangements last minute to ensure that we were on the correct class of rapids. Once on the water, Randal made learning the basics very easy and fun and helped us feel more confident about the ride ahead. During the ride he was amazing in guiding us so that we had an absolute blast! He was also very patient with my son so I would definitely say this is a family friendly excursion. I couldn't recommend them enough!
I recently had the chance to experience white-water rafting sarapiqui River Class, and it was an absolute blast! The adrenaline rush and beautiful scenery made for an unforgettable adventure. We had an exceptional time! Don't second guess it! Do it!
This was the first rafting trip for my wife and I, and we absolutely loved it. Not just the rafting but the entire experience. From the driver that drove us, to our raft guide, to the food after. It all was just an amazing experience. Would, will, and have recommended to family and friends.
The guide was so special, I asked for animals, birds and plants and he never stopped pointing out wonderful hidden treasures. Also I didn’t want to rough waters and we got just the right amount of rapids so I was never too scared. It was perfect
The experience the guide gave us , also made sure we were very safe , he made everything amazing!!! This is a must do in BAIL … they were amazing and I don’t know how to swim so was even perfect and very fun
The entire experience was great! The driver (Wilson) and the guides (Randall & David) were exquisite from beginning to end making this trip our best during our visit. Thank you guys!! And the extra things you did to accommodate us.

Juan José JJ and the kayak guide Romeo were fantastic! They made the experience so much richer by pointing out native birds, plants, animals including monkeys and iguanas. The exhilarating trip was fun, beautiful, and well worth it.
On-time/early pick-up (driver was prompt - always a good start)👍. The tour guides (Mau/Gatto) clearly know the river and wildlife - able to spot animals in the trees for us (an enriching highlight). Right amount of “working” the rapids to feel like you had a good workout but not exhausted - good jocular personalities kept things fun. The facilities were nice with a shower and changing rooms for afterwards. Nice, traditional lunch at a local restaurant. Would use company/operator again.
This rafting experience exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Brian, raised the level of fun with his enthusiasm and expertise. We did a super scenic Class II-III stretch of the Sarapiqui River, had an enjoyable break with refreshing fruit, and a great Costa Rican lunch afterwards.
I was, unfortunately, unable to attend this trip, but I had a great experience with the Viator company. Upon booking this trip, I thought there were pickup/drop off destinations from San Jose. I quickly realized San Jose was not a pickup option, and decided to cancel my booking. The customer service representative i contacted was very helpful and was able to give me a full reimbursement without much hassle. I am very pleased with my customer service experience and would recommend the Viator booking company when planning vacation excursions!
Very bad service, they didn't go through me, I missed the opportunity to do another tour. I texted them immediately after booking and they never responded. I wish them the worst damn
