EXCELLENT! I would definitely recommend Samas. The cars are very modern,clean, air conditioned. The service was very prompt, and efficient . Our driver Miguel was sooo friendly, professional and accommodating. He frequently checked in on us made bathroom stops, and knew where the good bathroom and food spots were and would let us stop and eat.They delivered! He also let us stop to see the sites go to souvenir shops. We’ve felt totally comfortable, and felt like we had a great guide. We will be using them when we return to the country.

Charlie met us in the airport pickup area with a sign. He safely drove us 3+ hours to Quepos. On the way he offered to stop at a market or restaurant for lunch. We stopped for lunch and were on our way. He dropped us off at the car rental place in Quepos. This was a great experience seeing driving on the roads. I’m glad we did this from SJO and feel better about around. We would book this service again!

We had a great experience with SAMA Transfers, thanks especially to our driver, Minor. He was professional, always on time, and incredibly friendly and hospitable. He picked us up from the airport when we arrived (also had cold waters ready for us) and was also there bright and early for our 5:30am departure. Along the way, he shared helpful information about the area and even helped us practice our Spanish, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend SAMA, and if you get Minor as your driver, you’re in great hands.

Rebecca was an amazing driver and our first hostess in Costa Rica. There was a lot of traffic when we arrived, but she was calm and made the trip fun. She taught us about Costa Rica and pura vida. My family and I hired Sama Tranfers twice on our recent trip to Costa Rica, and we were extremely happy with the service we received. We strongly recommend them. Th first drive was from San Jose airport to our hotel in Manuel Antonio, which was about 3 hours. Rebecca was our driver and she was excellent. She met us at the airport just as had been communicated, and she could not have been nicer. She is an excellent driver and knew the roads well; we felt very safe in her care. We do not speak very much Spanish, but we had no trouble communicating with Rebecca. Our next drive was the 6-hour journey from Manuel Antonio to Guanacaste. We were thrilled to learn that Rebecca would be our driver again, and her skills were just as good as they were on our drive from the airport. We made a few stops along the way for restrooms and refreshments, and she always knew the best places. (Side note: restrooms in Costa Rica are so much cleaner than in the U.S.!) But the highlight for us was when she stopped so that we could see crocodiles after we mentioned that we had not seen any in the national park. Rebecca is excellent at her job. We were impressed with Sama Transfers’ communication with us, and the two vans we rode in were very comfortable and had top-notch air conditioning. Muchas gracias to Rebecca and Sama Transfers!

Absolutely outstanding service! They were waiting right outside the exit doors of the airport with a sign with our name on it, insisted on loading the bags in the van for us, and provided ice cold water bottles. We stopped after an hour for a great restaurant for lunch and outdoor seating, and then stopped again a bit later to look at crocodiles under a bridge which my family loved! They also offered to stop at a supermarket prior to reaching our destination so we could stock up on supplies! Really friendly and chill situation, all afternoon. Thanks!

We had great shuttle experiences both ways between SJO and Manuel Antonio for our arrival and departure in Costa Rica with Rebecca at the helm! We were able to make few stops for bathroom breaks, snacks, and sightseeing at Puente de Cocodrilo (Crocodile Bridge) - Mike Tyson did not disappoint! We highly recommend this efficient and pleasant shuttle ride with Rebecca for any future Costa Rica transfers!

Our driver Joshua spoke both Spanish and English. He was prompt, friendly, enthusiastic, accommodating, and knowledgeable. The van was modern, comfortable, and spacious. We were amazed by his patients considering the driving conditions. Traffic often moved very slow, and there were very few passing zones. He was a safe driver that didn't do anything unsafe due to frustration. We were very happy with SAMA Transfers and our driver Joshua.

Rebecca, our driver, was amazing. She brought fun energy to our trip, had water and a few local snack for us to try and was super friendly! She stopped along the way to show us some sights and animals and we even stopped to eat. She gave us local tips and recommendations for where we were headed in Manuel Antonio. Over all we highly recommend SAMA and Rebecca. Their rates are totally reasonable and even beat out others for pricing. Know that they have routes all around the country and not just from San José or even just the airport. Questions- call or text their direct line to ask (English or Spanish).

Very reliable, friendly, and accommodating. Our flight was delayed by 6 hours, but they still had someone available to pick us up late at night. They were always friendly regardless of the circumstances. They were excellent at communication via What's app. We felt so safe with this company and the staff that we booked them for our shuttle back to the airport as well. Highly recommend and we will definitely be contacting this shuttle when we return to costa rica!

We arrived in San Jose late at night and it was our first time to the country. I was traveling with my girlfriend and as 2 women alone, we were a little nervous about how to find our shuttle. I was so excited to see Rebeca's bright, warm smile after a very long travel day! She wasted no time grabbing our luggage and whisking us away from the chaos of the transportation area into a large comfortable coach just for the 2 of us. It was a rainy night and she wanted to make sure that we were settled in for the 3.5 hour drive to our hotel in Manuel Antonio. She asked if we were hungry and even offered to make a stop at Walmart to allow us to pick up a couple items if needed. She handled the roads like a pro, in the dark and rain and I was totally comfortable. We requested her for our return and when we saw that bright smile waiting for us, it felt like we were being picked up be a long time friend. She made it a point to show us interesting things along the way and even stopped a couple times for touristy sights and last minute shopping. She will be my request anytime I come to Costa Rica. We used Sama Transfer from SJO to Manuel Antonio and back. For both trips our driver was Rebecca. She greeted us and gave us each a cold bottle of water. Her van was very comfortable and she played great music and also made some cool stops on the way to Manuel Antonio (crocodile river and a really cool stop with a beautiful gift shop, nice bathrooms, and a yummy smoothie/ice cream stand. She also suggested a great lunch stop ‘Pizza Pasta’ that my girls loved (we stopped on way back to SJO too). Overall she was a great driver with a super friendly personality. Highly recommend!

We did transfers both from the Airport to Manuel Antonio and back. They were with Victor and Alex, respectively. I was thoroughly impressed with their professionalism, English-speaking abilities as well as the comfort level of the transfer. Both drivers were very pleasant and able to speak with us in both English and Spanish. They talked if we wished or were quiet if we wished (it is a three-hour drive). They offered us cold water and the ability to stop for bathroom breaks and snacks. Both vans had air conditioning and the drivers drove safely on the well-paved roads to and fro.
