Shuttle From San Jose To La Fortuna

The driver was right on time and the bus was clean. I was a little confused by the booking process as my hostel was not on the website. So I searched for the company and found their WhatsApp number and was able to verify with them thar all was correct. It seemed strange to be picked up in the afternoon but when I saw that they were also picking up at the airport it all made sense.

It was a three hour ride but didn't seem like that at all. Our guide,Carlos, was friendly and informative along the drive pointing out things and even stopping quickly for a few pics.

Great transfer, on time, smooth and sensible driver. I was nervous when the weather turned but driver was sensible and we really enjoyed the scenery and travel.

We got from San Jose to La Fortuna, but it wasn’t comfortable. The driver drove way too fast (I was almost thrown from my aisle seat) and we were all crammed in pretty tight. The van was clean and well-maintained. The driver was gracious and stopped for bathroom and drink breaks. He didn’t speak English. We would probably book a private van next time for the extra comfort.

Driver was on time, and dropped us off accordingly. I used viator for all my Costa Rican Bookings. It would be great if vans had a step stool for getting in and out

We spent 2 hours picking up passengers ( made worse by going back for people we left behind). Driver was good and lovely though

Perfect, got from A to B in good time and had a short break on the way. The shuttle was clean and comfortable.

Our driver Rolando was very friend friendly, polite and professional. It was a very smooth and comfortable trip.

We knew the drive from San Jose to La Fortuna would be a long one so we asked the company weeks before if we could change the pick-up time from 1:30 pm to an earlier time, they said changing the time is not possible and its also non-refundable. Then the day before our trip they contacted us and said the pick-up time is now changed to 2 pm. Then the driver arrived 30 mins late, so we’re not on the road until 2:45 pm. The driver also doesn’t speak English even though the website said English guide. There was also no WIFI on board like they advertised either. The drive was supposed to be 3 hours 18 mins turned into 5 hours. We arrived to our resort in the dark and we were late to our dinner reservation. Overall experience was terrible. We left San Jose in daylight and arrived in darkness. Do not book this for your trip.

Danny was great! Right on time to pick us up from our hotel in San Jose. We had a nice stop for a leg stretch and some breakfast along the way. The van was air conditioned and had Wi-Fi, which did come in handy as I needed to confirm an activity later in the afternoon. We reached our destination on time. I definitely recommend.

Nice, safe driver, comfortable, clean seats with air conditioning. Only drawback was picking up others at different hotels, the process took about 90 minutes, but that's to be expected on a shared shuttle.

Good long drive with a midway break. Stopped and viewed a sloth on the way. Daniel was very friendly, knowledgeable, and also helped us spot a sloth for some pictures.

Positives: Driver was wonderful. He navigated treacherous road conditions to get us to La Fortuna, with ease. Shuttle was very nice. AC was working great and there was wifi available, which made it possible for me to communicate with my Airbnb host, since I didn't manage to get a SIM card in the airport. Negatives: The company gave us wrong information when we were booking this. I was told that it would not be possible for them to pick me up from the airport and drop me off at anyplace other than a hotel, when I made the booking. So I had to take a taxi from the airport to a nearby hotel in San Jose and was dropped off at a hotel near my Airbnb in La Fortuna. Surprisingly, the shuttle that picked me up also picked up others from the airport and dropped them off at an Airbnb in La Fortuna. I don't understand why it wasn't possible for me, but was possible for other riders.

It's good and practical. It meets the mark in the description and has beautiful views, recommended.

We were transported by Mr. Harold, more than a driver, he is a Guide, very friendly at all times, good use of English and Spanish, a great ability to take pictures and always be attentive. Punctual, clean bus and good talk. We arrived super punctual and in our hotel. He even gave us recommendations for what to do if or if in La Fortuna.
