Private Pacuare River Whitewater Class Iii & Iv Rafting Tour

On this 12-hour activity, your adventure will start with a 2-hour drive to Caribbean Lowlands. There will be a stop halfway at the Adventure Center for a hearty breakfast before heading to the Pacuare River. Upon arrival at the river's heart, the expert guide will brief you with a full safety orientation talk, then you will be geared up with a life jacket, helmet, and paddle, and then, it is time to take off down the rapids! The first part of the river consists of fun class II-III rapids, which is a perfect time to test your new river skills and gain confidence in your team. You will experience the exhilaration of riding the waves on this wild and scenic river, which passes through scenic canyons where crystal-clear waterfalls plummet down into the rapidly coursing river below. Tall trees and dense green vegetation come right down to the water’s edge. The thick undergrowth of this protected area provides shelter for a variety of tropical animals and birds, including some endangered species. For the second part of the river expedition, rafting becomes even more thrilling as you begin to use the skills and experience gained early.  The adventure ends up in the Siquirres area, where you can take a shower, change into dry clothes, and enjoy a delicious lunch surrounded by the tropical gardens while you share with your new friends about the great adventure you just experienced!

River Difficulty: Moderate. 
Class III rafting: Rapids with high irregular waves; narrow passages that often require complex manoeuvring. 
Class IV rafting: Long, difficult rapids with constricted passages that often require precise manoeuvring in very turbulent waters.
