10/10! Sergio was an amazing tour guide and so so kind! Everything we ate was amazing as well. I would 100% recommend this tour

Itinerary
Discover Manuel Antonio National Park, one of the main touristic destinations of Costa Rica. You will be picked up from your San Jose Hotel in the morning in an air-conditioned vehicle, and then you will enjoy a scenic drive towards the Central Pacific Region of the country. On the way to Manuel Antonio, you will savor a delicious Costa Rican breakfast; and you will also have the chance to stop at the largest fruit stand of the country, where you can learn about the huge variety of tropical fruits of Costa Rica.
Following you will make a stop at the famous crocodile bridge, where you will be able to observe crocodiles in the wild from a safe viewing point, some of the animals observed here are as big as 6 meters long (18 feet).
A few minutes later you will make a brief stop at Tarcoles Beach, where you will have the chance to observe scarlet macaws in their natural habitat.
Continue your trip with a visit to the Jaco Beach look-out point, from where you can get great views of the most popular coastal town of Costa Rica.
Following, go on a one-hour nature hike at Manuel Antonio National Park and learn about the Rainforests Ecosystems of Costa Rica. Be on the look-out for wild species of fauna such as howler monkeys, white-faced monkeys, sloths, toucans, agoutis, tropical birds, and the cutest mammal of Costa Rica, the squirrel monkey. After your hike, you will have a few free hours to relax at the beautiful beaches of the national park, or go for a swim in the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean. If you are not so much of a beach person, you can continue hiking on your own in the numerous trails of Manuel Antonio National Park, where beautiful landscapes and wildlife can be observed.
Later in the early afternoon hours, savor a delicious Costa Rican lunch in a restaurant located at high elevation, where great views of the ocean and the jungles of the national park can be observed. After this final stop you will be taken back to your hotel in the San Jose area.

It was such a great experience! Our guide “Oxani” I hope I spelled that right, she was so great. Very very knowledgeable of the park and the surrounding areas we traveled through. Very knowledgeable of the conservation efforts that Costa Rica has. We asked her all kinds of questions and she answered each one. The other couple we were with was great too. The views at the resort were amazing! Thank you again!!
More walking in preserve and less time for the beach than expected. Meals were good but portions a bit too large for seniors. As senior citizens ourselves it was a challenge but worth the effort. Guide and driver served well.
Kenny or Kenneth was our driver and guide for the day. Very friendly and informative. I will say the animals are wild so they’re not everywhere all at once. Your guide will help you find all the adorable sloths monkeys and more. We saw a couple sloths, a coatimundis, a couple species of monkey, a tiny frog, lizards and a crab. The beach was meh… we have cleaner Beaches in Hawaii but I’m sure Costa Rica has way more to offer than that beach. The water was warm. The bathrooms are a little small but I recommend using the one closest to the souvenir shop since they have showers too. Breakfast and lunch was great! I had the fish and it comes with a beautiful view of the ocean ! The park is a tiny bit over rated but I did enjoy myself for sure. We also saw some macaws! So beautiful… sadly the crocodile bridge was getting worked on and there were no crocs in site when we drove over… we had some mean traffic coming back so prepare for that . Started the day at about 5:20am and ended at about 8:20pm. I will say this drive was comfortable because it was just 4 of us. We had more room than we needed. Thank you so much to Kenny can for picking us up and dropping us off even though it wasn’t in the area they normally do that in. Lots of driving but worth it if you don’t want to drive on your own.
We were not given a clear time for pick up and missed the time. The tour operator did not let us join at the next meeting point or the park itself (at our cost). They did not even give us the park entrance tickets that were included in our package. Completely uncooperative and looking for opportunities to steal your money.
We really loved the experience visiting Manuel Antonio National Park, seeing a diversity of animals, birds, insects and butterflies. Harlem our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about the flora and fauna that you can find in Costa Rica. We had a close look through the telescope at macaws, monkeys, sloths, butterflies and bats. We stopped at the beautiful white sandy beaches of the national park and had the opportunity to have a swim in the warm waters of the Pacific. The lunch we had at San Bada restaurant was delicious and we had amazing views over the national park and Manuel Antonio beach. On the way back we stopped at Tarcoles river, on the crocodile bridge and managed to spot 5 crocodiles, resting on the river bank. All in all, a beautiful day which ourselves and our daughter have enjoyed a lot. Our guide Harlem and the driver Don Carlos were very courteous and friendly and made our experience memorable. Thank you for a great day!
Very courteous, very informative and helpful with all our questions. A very enjoyable adventure with him. The beach was my favorite. I would recommend our driver/guide.
Our driver/guide was very courteous and knowledgeable about things of the country and the sites that we visited. Would recommend Fernando for any tour.
This is an excellent itinerary and so is Harlem, our guide. We saw a good number of animals at Manuel Antonio thanks to him. Good eyes! The beaches were beautiful especially with the Capuchin monkeys running around. Our favorite is seeing the macaws in their natural habitat. Big thanks to this one family in Jaco who shared with us, strangers, freshly cooked chicharones when we were just passing by. It can be a long drive home depending on traffic getting into San Jose.
Excellent and knowledgeable tour guide. First we stopped for a good breakfast and then at Crocodile Bridge. Took us 4 hours to get to park. Did walking tour and saw howler monkeys and sloths. Then swam for about an hour. Ended with delicious lunch on 6th floor of hotel overlooking park. It was a long 12 hour day round trip but worth it. Price we paid given all that was included was very reasonable. Highly recommend.
Farnando has really excellent knowledge of coast rica and the park. We enjoy a lot. I recommend this trip.
Friendly guide. Lots to see on the trip. Great little stop offs along the way. Food provided was good with a good choice. Lucky to see lots of animals in the rainforest.
This tour was amazing and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Costa Rica. My husband ana I went on our honeymoon there ana we weren't disappointed in this tour. Our tour guide Oscar was very knowledgeable and always on the lookout for sloths or other animals around. He got us home safely even though there was a storm on our way back.
This was a very good tour! Oscar was a decent tour guide. We did so much in 15 hours. We went to some beautiful beaches, saw a lot of wildlife, went to some cool souvenir shops, and went to a restaurant at the top of this hotel. The view was something else! I would do it all again if I could!
The Crocodile Bridge was very interesting. The beaches at Manual Antonio are spectacular. Lunch overlook the Pacific was very nice. Many "critters" to see inside the park. Park needed some repairs on the railings and a couple of spots were very slick from mud on the pathway, but otherwise a great trail to explore...just be careful of your footing. Highly recommend, but be prepared for a lot of "seat time" to get there and back.
My day trip to Manuel antonio national beach park with sightseeing tour was a once in a lifetime experience! My tour guide Oscar was the main reason me and my family had such a memorable experience! From beginning to end Our tour guide Oscar made sure we missed out on nothing constantly checking around for wildlife, making sure we were all having a good time and that all our needs were met ! Our tour started off with hotel pick up which was on time as stated then to a wonderful Costa Rican breakfast! While breakfast was being prepared tour guide Oscar took us next door to a fruit market where we were introduced to all the vegetables and fruits grown in Costa Rica and had ample time to buy fruits we needed my favorite was the manzana de agua ,guanabana cayamite and sapodilla so sweet and delicious! The breakfast was really good and plentiful all Costa Rican cuisine really appreciated the treat ! Along the way we also stopped out at crocodile bridge and got chance to take pictures of enormous crocodiles basking on the river banks they were in groups of 5 and 6 very wild experience! Next we stopped out at a lookout point at jaco beach which offers the most breathtaking views I’ve ever seen and ware given sufficient time for pics! Another stop was the viewing point at a beach to look at the red macaw ! Finally our journey rooked is to Manuel antonio national park where Oscar was again our tour guide of the trails that goes through the park into the beach ! He did an excellent job showed and teach us about the monkeys that inhabit the park the capuchin , showed us the different species of birds , explained about all the living animals and trees including some of the dangers like the fer de lance snake the importance of abiding by the park rules ! Oscar showed us a great time on this tour and takes his job very serious! He even assisted by arranging a taxi for my mom to be driven to the beach portion of the park because of the long trails and my moms knee surgery ! At the end of the tour our tour guide took us to lunch at the resort parks restaurant which offers beautiful views at the top ! Oscar bought us a lovely guanabana drink during lunch at the San Bada hotel which is also on the parks premises! Lunch was so delicious we had the mahi mahi dish Costa Rican style so delicious! After lunch we were driven back to our hotels where our wonderful tour guide explained all the important locations at every town even made stops for us to use the bathroom and souvenir shops! The tour was well planned and was worth every penny ! It was also a blessing to have such a caring and knowledgeable tour guide as oscar ford every where we went every one knew oscar ! He would make an excellent mayor he is well known and cares a lot for his people and his country and the tourists that comes to visit ! Really enjoyed my trip and would recommend this tour to everyone that comes to visit Costa Rica ! Thank you Go tours and thank you tour guide Oscar! You guys are the best !
I booked this trip because Adriana provided detailed description of the tour. Go tours Costa Rica is a well organized tour company. Easy to reach by phone also. Oscar was a great guide and an excellent driver. We had fun watching lots of wildlife, and also crocodiles, iguanas, birds, sloths, monkeys, green frogs in natural habitat. Oscar is a team player and a gentle man! We had lunch at a restaurant overlooking the beach! It was lots of fun. Oscar makes the tour and time pass by fast!
This tour was incredible! We only had a few days on Costa Rica but this tour gave us a taste of so much! Our guide, Kenneth was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. 10/10, would take again!
Kenneth was a great guide. All of the stops along our journey were great and would definitely recommend this tour. The beach was the best part of the day, followed by an amazing lunch with great views.
Wow! What a great day. Nathaniel, our guide was great. He was super friendly, knowledgeable and patient. This was one of our favorite tours during our time in CR. The food was great, beach was pristine, the jungle was awesome (we saw a lot of monkeys, crocodiles and macaws). Bring waterproof and sand proof sneakers- you walk through the beach part of the trail.
Fantastic trip and even better tour guide Omar who made our trip very special. Would definitely recommend him for anyone who wants to have a great day and to learn about Costa Rica
Our guide, Omar, was excellent. We were picked up from our hotel and dropped off at our next in Manuel Antonio. Manuel Antonio is absolutely gorgeous.. the beach, and the park was lovely too. We got to see lots of monkeys. The trail in the park is short though, but we had plenty of time to relax at the beach and have lunch.
Came with a group of 4 friends to CR and did various tours, but our best by far was exploring Manuel Antonio National Park. It's an early start (5am) but our guide Saúl, was friendly, energetic and super informative from the beginning. Taking us off the beaten path and thoroughly explaining everything around us. This was my 12th time in Costa Rica and this tour definitely tops my list.
Today my husband and I went on a day tour to Manuel Antonio and it was INCREDIBLE. We had an AMAZING tour guide, Alex. He was very knowledgeable, funny, interactive, and patient with the group! We started driving from San Jose early in the morning and we’re on our way to the fruit market to get some delicious breakfast. After, we were off to Manuel Antonio National Park! Alex was an amazing guide in the park and had his eyes open throughout the tour to point out animals, plants, and trees to us. After walking through we finally arrived to the beach for some swimming. We then headed back and had an amazing lunch with an amazing view of the ocean! Driving back, Alex made a stop for us to see some crocodiles. This tour exceeded my expectations and I’m very happy with the overall tour and service/hospitality we received from our guide, Alex! This is a must if you are visiting Costa Rica.
This tour was one of the highlights of our trip! The guide and driver were friendly, well-informed, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. The tour was well-rounded and a perfect balance of active and rest. Would highly recommend!
Awesome journey with a dynamic guide. Guide has a lot of knowledge about plants and animals. It was unique because he took necessary time to explain and let us observe the fauna. Amazing day!
So I'm a bit late, I booked a trip with Alex on Nov 14, 2019 the most amazing part of the trip was the "not so touristy" feel he provided. Every experience was if he was taking us in his home and considered us family. He was very knowledgeable every step of the way from identifying flowers to historical data regarding monuments, villages and wild life. I'd highly recommend this trip for enthusiasts that are looking for the perfect balance when it comes to vacation. Alex had personality, intellect and great damn customer service. Look forward to booking the next adventure with family and friends.
Hernan was a great tour guide who knew exactly where to get the best views of different animals - we saw monkeys, sloths, and crocodiles (and countless iguanas)! We began the day with a traditional Costa Rican breakfast with a multitude of options, and ended in a nice restaurant with a beautiful view of the beach. I would recommend this tour for all ages!
Lovely excursion and a formidable deal from Alex; the park is worth everything, and the beach is beautiful. The transfer is long and tired from traffic but gives time to sleep. Breakfast was spectacular
Undoubtedly the most beautiful places in Costa Rica, we visited impressive places, saw many animals, the journey was very pleasant, pleasant and explained everything we were seeing, Alex our guide made this day a very pleasant experience. Local food was delicious and the places we consumed it, always very clean and nice
Fernando, a Guide with a lot of knowledge. Friendly and attentive person at all times. Great experience. I recommend it. The food was delicious.
The park and the beach is spectacular, within the group as a companion of the tour we find Kenneth (guide) who at all times explained and was on the lookout that our tour was incredible.
More than recommended. All very well. The guide very attentive and attentive to the whole group. Don't leave without taking this tour.
All excellent! Punctuality, attention, kindness. Recommended 100% The place visited very nice.
We were picked up promptly, Alex our very attentive and friendly guide gave us a lot of information before arriving and during the visit. I highly recommend it
