La Paz Waterfall Gardens Nature Park Full-day Tour

Verry good ,I enjoy it full. Costa Rica is so nice .people are verry nice. Nature is the most clean and ontuch. Veruy good.

Our family of four booked a private tour from San Jose to La Paz with Roger and his team. We had an amazing experience, the transport was top notch, they were safe and provided us with car seats for our children. Roger was amazing as a guide, friendly, knowledgeable, flexible, helpful. We really had a wonderful time and can’t recommend them highly enough. We will be reaching out next time we visit, thanks Roger and team!

We were lucky enough to get a private tour from Roger, one of the best tour guides I have had the pleasure of spending the day with. He is friendly, knowable and prodessional making the tour an absolute delight. The visit to the coffee stop and strawberry wine maker were nice but the Waterfalls? Amazing - the wildlife all around the sanctuary, beautiful and the design of the place itself has to been seen. My only downside was the two toes sloth decided to nap when we were there and I’m a ‘sloth-freak’. Also included in the day is a wonderful fresh cooked buffet meal with some great local specialties to try and a rice pudding at the end that is ethereal - thanks Rger for insisting I try it!). I was a tour operator for many years and can attest that this is one great company that will make your trip special. I only wish I wasn’t in CR for dental tourism so I couldn’t take more of those offerings.

Roger was our tour guide for two people. We did the La Paz Waterfall Gardens and tacked on the Hacienda Alsacia Starbucks Coffee Farm before we hit La Paz. The Starbucks farm was a lot smaller than expected, but I appreciated the fact that operations weren’t overly commercialized. We stopped by Fresas del Volcan, which is a little store that had different kinds of strawberry products, including wine and crème liqueur. The La Paz Waterfall Gardens were a blast. We got to see different animals and several waterfalls! Roger was great at educating us about the animals and plants of the region. It’s as if he worked there! Roger always checked to make sure we were okay and comfortable on the ride.

My family toured with this company on multiple occasions and they did an incredible job by any metric. They were informative about all the things we saw and places we went. It is obvious that they take pride in their job. We also used them for airport transportation and they were very punctual. I really couldn’t recommend them enough. Roger gave the tours and was incredible!

Ricardo did a wonderful job with this tour. We added the option for Hacienda Alsacia coffee tour. The stops along the way were great. Places as a tourist I probably wouldn’t have known existed. La Paz far exceeded my expectations however it is a lot harder than I thought it was going to be. But I did it as a pretty inactive, overweight person and Richard was very patient. Loved this day so much ☺️

Bring light weight rain gear in a small backpack. Being high on a mountain, the weather is different from down below in San Jose. Get a map. Very interesting.

The waterfall gardens and animal sanctuary were outstanding and gorgeous, lunch on site was fantastic and authentic but what made the day the highlight of our vacation was Roger our tour guide, he was so knowledgeable and took such pride in sharing his beautiful country and culture with us. He was prompt, courteous, shared points of interest along the ride and all throughout the day. He’s an example of the best that Costa Rica has to offer and in no way solicited for this review which is why I’m inclined to share. Pura Vida

The day tour of La Paz was a mixed bag for me: the experience of the waterfall gardens & refugee wildlife itself was good, but the organization & service of the (advertised) full day trip was unsatisfactory. First of all, the itinerary said that we would start at 9 am, visit a coffee plantation, then La Paz. What actually happened: I was picked up at my hotel at 11:10, the driver didn't speak at all until we made a 30 minute stop at a store (way too long to use the restroom & for souvenirs). Without asking, he would not have told us that we would meet the actual group and tour guide here. This happened and finally after noon my "full day tour" really started. I noticed that the other people in the bus had already done the coffee plantation stop, so I realized, this stop will not happen for me. We went straight to La Paz - that's what I call false advertising. La Paz itself, the waterfall gardens & the refugee animal "zoo" were quite nice - I liked the variety of animals, but didn't expect to see them caged up like in a zoo. And what wasn't ideal: the group was too big and spread out to get much information from the guide (unless you stayed close to him). So: definitely overpriced and not the best company to book this experience. But yes, visit La Paz (on your own or with another company).

Omg!!! My experience was BREATH-TAKING! MAGNIFICIENT!! Words can't express how I feel! The tour guide was excellent and the sights seeing was unbelievable

My mom and I took a full-day tour today with Roger and it was amazing!! He is super knowledgeable and interesting to chat with, we both learned so much about Costa Rica throughout the day and that really enriched our experience of the waterfall and the park, and even the drive there! We hired Sky solutions for two days. On Our first and second day, Roger picked us up and dropped us off in a very accommodating and clean van. we visited volcan Poás,Doka plantation and La Paz waterfall gardens. Our 2nd day included, La Fortuna, Mistico Park and Baldi Hot Springs Our guide Roger was excellent, knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating. I would recommend sky solutions and Roger for your next adventures in Costa Rica. The whole experience was fabulous!

They know what they do and where they take you. The guides are super trained and speak super good English and Spanish! Super recommended 🫶🏼
