Anny was amazing. So sweet and professional, she took us to a nice breakfast spot, the drive was beautiful and comfortable in a small group, she let us pull over to see a wild sloth, then there was a lot of time at the hot springs. Very fun, safe, and beautiful!

A must!! The Ride Up Was a scenic trip within itself. And The Resort was everything we could ask for. It would not disappoint. Fun!!

The views of the volcano are spectacular (if the skies are clear). The hot springs are relaxing and there are plenty to discover so that it did not feel crowded. The buffet lunch in the restaurant was delicious. The changing room and lockers were convenient for day trip travelers.

When I wrote to the tour guide to confirm we were going to the listed hotsprings on the website, they cacncelled on us the day before. It left us with nothing to do on our last day there. Terrible service.

The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The volcano was surreal. The hot springs hit the spot. The food was good.

Poor, overpriced experience. Tried to skip the volcano. Left us for 6 hours at the hot springs. No reason for it to start at 430am. Don't recommend at all.

We had the best time! Maria was a great tour guide with a lot of good information on the area we were. The drive to the hot springs was very beautiful. The first stop was amazing! Great view of the volcano. The hot springs was the best part! Very relaxing and fun! Very fun and fast water slides! The natural sauna was great too! Would highly recommend and would do again!!

Great day! Baldi resort and hot springs is beautiful and so relaxing. Being dramine if you get car sick because it’s 3 hours of twisty roads to get back to San Jose! But so worth it!

Fernando was AMAZING. Very knowledge, very interactive. It didn't feel like a 12hr day so much to see and do. We did everything I planned for a short stay. The hot springs was the perfect ending to the day. Beautiful scenery. Lunch and dinner were delicious.

It was a cloudy day, so we didn't get to see the volcano. The hot springs were nice, though. The drive from San Jose was long. The bus was not the most comfortable.

Long ride to get to the destination and back but a very scenic ride. A good amount of time at the volcano observation point to walk around, do a short hike and take pictures. Plenty of time to relax at the hot springs resort. Make sure to have a change of clothes and a bathing suit. Have cash or a Visa or Mastercard to pay for drinks or additional food.

Shout out to our amazing guide - Rocio! She was so nice and sweet and explained things very well! Pick up was on time and was communicated ahead of time! Breakfast was great - it's not included but they let you know that! It was a relaxing time. The volcano was a bit cloudy, but that was outside of our control. It was still great to take pictures. The hot springs were so relaxing and we had ample time to explore the whole resort. You can reserve a locker for 6$ and towels are 10$ but you get the 10$ back when you turn it in. Once again, a really amazing time. Our guide and driver also stopped several times to show us sloths!!!!!

I was a little disappointed that after a 3 hour drive, we only stayed at Arenal for about 20 minutes. Then spent 5 hours at the hots springs which was too long. It would've also been helpful to know that there was a charge to use the lockers at the hotel.

Useless experience , charged for volcano and baldi springs but was taken directly to resort without even showing the glimpse of volcano The whole trip was a waste of time, flight , hotel plus 300 for the tour for 2 people . Total disappointed and felt like cheated .

picked up was very early at 5:30am. We were taken to a restaurant for breakfast but it was self funded. We already ate breakfast in our apartment-hotel. It generally takes a long time to drive to a destination. We only spent 20 minutes in the volcano and the cloud was covering it so not much to see. We spent almost 5 hours in the Baldi hot spring and that resort was nice because it has many pools. I hope their lockers and changing rooms are bigger and easier to use and it cost $7 USD / locker.

Absolutely LOVED this tour!! I went solo and met another solo traveler there and we hung out together. The ride there was smooth and comfortable, the lunch they provided was super delicious!! The warm water was so soothing. I loved it so much!! 🇨🇷🌴🦦

Save your money. Tour guide and driver did not interact with group (4) at all. Basically just a taxi service. Only spent 15-20 minutes at the volcano. Guide had nothing to add..no history, anything. Driver and guide were very unprofessional. Such a waste, 4 hrs at hot springs…left on your own. 4 hrs is a bit extreme when CR has so much to see/do

If you're looking for minimal activity and more relaxation, this tour is perfect. The viewpoint for Arenal Volcano is breathtaking, and the hot springs at Baldi are incredibly soothing. There's also a spa if you’re in the mood for a massage—I tried it, and it was amazing. The tour bus is spacious and comfortable, and the driver was excellent. It’s the best tour bus driving experience I’ve had in Costa Rica. Nela, the tour guide, is very patient and knowledgeable, making the trip even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this tour, especially towards the end of your vacation when you’re seeking more leisure than adventure.

It turned about to be a long. 6 hrs total in a very uncomfortable bus. The baldi spa was ok. All of the pools went from Hot to extremely Hot. No pools to cool down in. Was there for 4 hours and got bored. Can only my stay in a spa setting for so long.

My friend and I booked this tour more than 24 hours ahead. We contacted them 3x the day before to confirm pick up location and time. We woke up super early, called them to confirm again, got to our pick up spot and they NEVER showed up. Extremely disappointed and frustrated as our last day in Costa Rica was ruined with no other plans. STOP TAKING PEOPLE’S MONEY FOR A SERVICE YOU DONT INTEND TO PROVIDE! Shame on you guys!

Our tour guide was incredible. First our meeting point was at 6am when we woke up, our car battery died and couldn’t find a jump. By the time we call the car company for help it was already 6:30am. I tried to cancel but it was too late, the tour company came to pick us up which was incredibly thoughtful (thank you for that). The tour to La fortuna was very insightful. The volcano was awesome then OMG the Baldi was to die for, I could stay there all day. Hot water everywhere from the entrance until the end, nonstop, I loved it. Next time I’m in Costa Rica I’m definitely staying in the Caribbean side for sure.

The best part of the trip was the Hot Springs only. The rest of the trip was not a great exploration

This trip was a big disappointment - first, the tour guide was awful. She was disorganized and unprepared. It was never advertised that this was a mixed Spanish and English tour. The stop at Arenal volcano was just that - a stop to look at the volcano. She didn’t provide much information at all. Then Baldi - we had to wait in line - it did not seem that the tour co had pre-arranged our visit - took awhile to get wrist bands etc. She didn’t know anything about the place including info on lockers and towels. Also, we were told pick up between 7-8 - tried to get a better handle on the exact time through the app but unable to contact the tour co. We were picked up at 8:30. Never mentioned anywhere that the tour would not get back to San Jose until after 8 pm - missed our dinner reservations. Just a bad experience overall.

arenal volcano and baldi springs was ok. best experience is to stay close to lafortuna and see the places . travel back and from san jose is miserable

Amazing experience. Marcela was a very good instructor. Arenal visit is short but we spent around 4 hours in Baldi hot springs. Great views !

The volcano was covered in smoke but I still give this experience 10/10 the guide was so bubbly and sweet! When we got to the hot springs I was in love I didn’t want to leave we spent a good 4 hours there and it was therapeutic! The food was amazing (buffet style ) and drinks were great as well. This was probably my fav experience on the trip this far.

The trip did not seem planned at all. The driver was talking on the phone the whole time, did not wear a seat belt, the minibus had engine lights on, he had to keep adding oil and we had to be delayed to return. He took a curve on the totally dark road and scared us tremendously. At the Hotel Los Lagos the restaurant staff was rude. We tried to use the spa to get a massage and the workers were so lazy that even though they were free, they told us to come back in an hour. Everything very ridiculous. It would seem that this country does not want tourists.

Bad attention and seriousness. They sell you one thing and give you another. It's not Baldi Hot Springs. It is to a different place with less quality and service. The guide didn't even know where we were going, it seemed more like she was going on vacation. Disappointed and not recommended at all.

Nothing described in the information was true I only spent 20 minutes in the viewpoint of the volcano and 2 hours in the hot springs the worst was the guide !!!! I didn’t know where she was standing or know the place either I didn’t know anything when you asked her something .....what if I knew was to hurry at lunchtime to leave !!! 'Cause I wanted to get to the bad bunny concert that's what I talk to the driver all the way through. We didn't eat lunch at all unhappy and the whole group thought the same thing. We were 9 people. Until I wanted to know who you are. To ask for half my money.

Excellent tour, Percy the guide and Brandon the driver make the way very enjoyable, strive to give you an amazing experience and so you get the best views and photos throughout the journey, highly recommended!

It is a basic experience and in the thermals everything is expensive so you have to take everything from home.

The agency canceled my tour on the eve leaving me with no choice and no opportunity to make this tour. This after they have stated that the Tours were already confirmed. In total they canceled three of the Tours that I had already paid, claiming they were unable to close the group.

The guide Maricela did an excellent job, mastered the story and made it interesting. He cared at all times for our needs. The beautiful place... we enjoyed my sister and I incredibly until the moment of return. The driver was very reckless, it rained a lot and the speed was not adequate. Arriving in Alajuela, the journey became a nightmare, even grabbing a build-up of water on the track that caused him to brake sharply. Please converse with him as a wonderful day ended badly.

Super beautiful. Very nice so many thermal pools, clean. All respectful. Very special country Costa Rica. Hopefully it won’t be destroyed by global companies.
